Hey! Let's see... I might be able to think of a few. 1) Focus on active listening when others are talking - stay engaged with the discussion. 2) Don't feel intimated by the group - likely every is as nervous as you are. Try to the the confident, outgoing positive energy that puts everyone at ease. 3) Conversation starts conversation. Don't be afraid to start talking with someone - be the person who inataites inclusive group interaction. 4) Stick to your personal truths - avoid being influenced too much by what others are saying. 5) The real coolest person in the room, the true leader, is the person who keeps and open mind, doesn't make quick judgements, and includes everyone. There is something to be learnt from everyone, this is objectively factual, so as much pressure as you may feel at times, avoid acting on prejudice and outcasting others just because you think it will boost your own social acceptance. 6) If a group activity is part of the interview, keep in mind that the role of a communications mediator is equally as important as the person taking charge. Display your openness and adaptability by encouraging discussion and ensuring all voices are heard. 7) Don't overthink and have fun Hope those helped 😁
Hi Pamela. No worries, I'm happy offer any help - I was quite nervous before my interview as well. First Question: Ultimately I would recommend to keep an open mind, actively listen to other, and communicate that you have heard and understood them. For a team to be successful, you need two things: 1. An effective leader/ group of leaders 2. Effective collaborators. Although leaders often get the glory, both sides of the equation are equally valued accomplishing a goal. My advice then would be, help to identify the leader/leadership needed for the task at hand, and be as effective as you can be on the team by encouraging others to listen to and understanding the leader, but also playing a mediator role in practicing communication with the leader. If your are more of the leader type yourself, then remember that the importance of your role is to stay open and listen to ideas of others, and organize action when everyone feels heard and can agree on a solution. Second Question: I do actually. If I can exercise the morning of or the day before I always feel better during an interview. Get a good nights sleep the night before. I always put all the clothes I am going to wear the next on a chair ready to go, so when I wake up I don't have to think about where anything is. I make my bed - in general I try to do this because it makes me feel that I've already accomplished something. Furthermore, I try to prepare as much before the interview as I can, and on the morning of, only look at my notes or papers once, then put them away as to not overthink things. Listen to some music. Hope that helped. Really, don't stress out about this too much - the interviewers will be nice and you will do great. I'm a little aggressive in the videos, but that's only because I want you all to take things seriously and best prepare yourselves for success.

@Pamela Green you could also breath in and count to 5 on your fingers then breathe out! ヾ(•ω•`)o

Thank you for great video! How can I interact with interviewers during interview if their most attention on me and asking me questions?
I want to do the exchange student thing but I don’t want to graduate a year late how do I avoid that?
Being an exchange student does not delay your progress, if you went a full year as a sophomore you’d come back as a junior
sorry this is a little late but definitely talk to the guidance counselors or wtv theyre called at your school because theyll be able to tell you if youll need to redo a year or not.
KEEP A STRAIGHT FORWARD ANSWER
