i kinda thought he was 19 and really lanky.
This game has a really good reason for making people angry. My dad has this big folder of rejections from medical schools he was trying to get into. He keeps it because it acts as a reminder of the all the hard times he had. Over and over being cast back to the beginning. This game makes me think of that a lot. And I’m so glad I endured all 6 hours of being thrown backwards off cliffs I worked so hard to climb. Because now I can run it in under 10 minutes. And every time I do, it reminds me of the challenge that I was able to overcome. :)

@@dromendus Yeah, it's an odd dynamic--I was mentally expecting an interview, but we got Bennett and Tim, good friends, talking in the rhythm they're comfortable with each other. And I didn't hate that--Tim is a delight, and there are plenty of more serious interviews with Bennett out there.

The host has an extremely dry sense of humour that I think was lost on most people and was purposefully talking all the way through as a way of giving Bennett a taste of his own medicine......but.....it would have been a much more interesting video if he had been given the chance to talk about his game in depth. Bennett seems way too polite and shy to take the video in another direction.

As someone who is learning to code this game is inspiring... not because of the programming that it required but because coding can be very frustrating and there are parts that make you think "can I really do this?... Oh I actually did!"

I just love Getting Over It, when you watch it you either find it interesting with how the world is or you just think it might be fun. But eventually when you play the game you'll scream like a freaking maniac and with you burning your computer to hell. The game might not follow the laws of physics and structures, but there are times when it feels like it's your fault. Like me for instance when I see the game I would think it would be fun and when I start playing it I would pull my hair out and flip my entire desk with my own strength. For those you will play the game may experience pain and suffering, but mostly... suffering...

I actually like this game. Sure it’s frustrating but the point of it is to help you get over it. Whenever you make a mistake or something frustrating happens, you have to get over it at some point.
And if you don't get over it, Just get over it
