I wouldn’t try to be making peace with someone after that.
Here we go again, red flags ignored.
We need to make serious investments to make sure people that want to be in prison get to be in prison. There was no excuse for him to be out in public
He killed the dog.u know that.
What the hell did the dog do? Leave the animals alone! creep
So now you know why Couch could pass a Background Check
My father taught me when I was barely 6 years old that anyone who exhibited cruelty to animals was dangerous and to absolutely avoid. They knew of a couple way back where the husband was tired of the neighbor's dog barking, so he went out one day and killed that dog. Everyone told her to leave him and I think she did. I still wonder if it was all 100% true, but it was a life lesson anyway.
The warrant says what? Seems like the deputy obviously didn't listen or care enough to write an accurate report or testify to the judge and, that court was Lazy about notifying the victim. Investigate the judge, the deputy and the written report.
He's going to prison too. That's why.
Dog killer...this changes everything....
The charges for Couch were apparently dropped in their case due to the fact that the Neighbor stated he was unaware of the upcoming court date at the time. Unfortunately that sounds about right. Happened to me in Bell County in a different situation. They were never even informed Couch was released from jail. Thank God its a literal miracle that the neighbor and family was not harmed any worse.
Of all the things we can choose to do whyyyy do people choose violence? Complete madness in this world. So many other things you can do with your life.
It is in our DNA. Study chimpanzees for an hour. We share with Bonobos as well; they are the softer side.

Not the police... its on the knox co attorney... its a habit with that office not notifying people of court dates... that's why the case was dismisses...
If it's been coming on slow, it could be a brain tumor or PTSD. Not sure . Was he ever in combat? Don't get me wrong, I'm not justifying his actions. In either case he's lost his mind.
I agree or it could be some type of drug. He definitely wasn't in a normal state of mind. He needed mental health help. Maybe the military background he had affected him mentally in some way. Sad situation.
A brain tumor, really
APB- be on the lookout for an armed white male, Um this is Kentucky sir, I see one of those exact matches in all directions.
They don't have animal abuse laws out there in Kentucky? He assaulted that dog
There are animal cruelty laws here in Kentucky.
@@shaneollice881 My apologies, I didn't actually mean to imply that Kentucky doesn't have laws like that although reading back what I wrote, that's exactly what it sounds like I said. What I meant was why were those laws not enforced in this case. I let my anger carry me away. Intentions don't always line up with impact.
I hope they find that psycho. I've lived in a city that had to be locked down during a terrorist threat (Boston). But the Tsarnaev brothers didn't have the woods to hide in. Completely different threat profile. Still so scary.
@@AC-hu5tg I understand what you're saying and I agree with you 💯 %!!! Joseph Couch, should've been prosecuted for animal cruelty along with the terroristic threatening, then maybe he wouldn't have been able to legally purchase the firearm he used in this tragic crime.
@@AC-hu5tg Every state in the Country has laws against animal credulity. However like everywhere else sometimes things slip through the cracks. Just like with pretty much every crime.
Dudes already dead you know he killed himself by now
I know police are searching from day to night. My guess is as the search expands couch may move during night to a area already searched by police earlier in the day. The next morning it's less likely police will search the same area that had been searched the previous day. Couch possibly completely left the area hiding out with his friends and his family. However if he is still in the woods he's likely moved to a area previously searched. I suggest using infrared cameras in a helicopter by night after the foot search has ended when night falls. It is an extremely large area to search and hide in, it just makes sense when the search on foot ends at night falls to hide in a area that has already been searched to avoid detection as the search expands fanning further and further outwards. If done correctly it's possible couch could be in a area already searched while police search the rest of the 1000's of acres of woods not to be found. If it where up to me I'd use dogs and people on foot during the day time search area, and helicopters with night vision and infrared cams at night also covering the area the officers searched during daylight in case couch moved during night to any area already searched earlier in the day. It makes since and I hope this guy's cought as soon as possible. State police should contact Bill Whited who owns Whited K9 services in Kent Ohio to buy or use some of the K9's my friend Bill Whited had trained. I hope these ideas and resources help in the investigation and search. May The Gods and Goddesses Watch over and protect all law enforcement and civilians alike in this situation... I also want to give a special thanks to the truck drivers who shielded a school bus from the gun fire while putting their selves in harms way, you all deserve a purple heart medal of honor for your heroic actions during the chaos.
Tldr.
Wow talk about melodramatic.
Infrared doesn't work in heavy forest canopy.
1000s of acres?
Try 2.1 million acres in DB forest alone, very rough mountains and terrain.
Another 2 million acres to the east as well, this isn't a small patch of woods.

I hope the neighbor is keeping a gun of his own handy just in case. Things sure sound weird.

He's going to prison for paying Kid Rock to kill me too. What a SNOOZE.

Dog was murdered.
That neighbor is to blame. He spared him. He withheld info and opted out of court. He’s an enabler. Should of followed through and not been so neighborly
That's what i thought i heard. ' an ar pointed at us" if anybody heard the ar pointed us, then there would be a harsher, more intent on his arrest record... isnt that special...

Get over it.
I've got a idea for a movie from years of playing the cellphone game "The grand Mafia" your teams on that game are in every country so what if all the greatest actors played like they all are in different countries on the same game when they all decide to be serial killers together and abduct random people tie them up and use video chats to let the victims watch each other being torcher as the captures try to one up each other's torcher methods during every video chat from around the world and then the videos are posted anonymously to the internet and the captures with the most views gets the most money from their torcher videos. A movie like that could be 10× better then "Hostile" and would have many plot twist with all the major actors and actresses playing roles creating a super long movie showing long scenes of each actors and actresses roles. For example Steven Baldwin, Angelina Jolene, Tom Cruise, Jonny Knoxville, Sean Connery, Ethan hawk, Keanu Reeves, and many more not listed could have roles. A movie like that would have many plot twist and would have tons of action adventure excitement suspense and comedy.
