ACE COMBAT™ 7: Mission 11 - Aces "Chasseur" & "Ibis"

I had a damn nightmare getting this, but after trial and error, found that LAAM's were perfect for the job. For "Chasseur" destroy all aircraft on the North Platform before they take off. They are -
F-14D x2
Rafale M x4
SU-33 x2
Once you do that and kill "Chasseur", fly through the platform and "Ibis" will spawn above the fleet.

So I've noticed on some video's that people are saying the Ace's won't spawn for them. A few common mistakes that can be easily corrected.
1. The Ace's will only spawn once you've completed the campaign on Normal or higher difficulty.
2. When you're hunting the Ace's, you must be playing the mission on Normal or higher difficulty.
3. Finally, you can obtain the Ace's in "Free Missions/Free Mode".
It's been a long time since I've played now, so there's obviously going to be more effective ways to obtain the skins (like better aircraft and stuff. ) but I hope these video's still help.

this isnt true. I started a campaign on easy, and then i just did free play missions on normal and they spawned for me. I havent beat the story yet either

I got it, but FYI I shot one of the F-14D's a few seconds after it had clearly taken off and the Chasseur (Rafale M) Ace still spawned. The F-14D already looked a couple hundred meters away from the platform.

Yeah I heard this was the case. Just wasn't too sure when I did the run, and had no one else's content to refer to at the time xD

You flew through the platform AS IT WAS COLLAPSING! That was badass.

I finally got them to spawn and shot both down in less then 2 minutes, then i had to run through the rest of the mission and with less the 30 seconds left i got cocky and crashed into the platform, mission failed

You do not need to swat them before takeoff. I just did it with 4 of them going airborne.

What you're going to need is parts to reduce special missile reload time and power this is how I got both Aces to spawn using a Gripen E 6 aam but if you destroyed the fleet Ibis will spawn on the Eastern platform then Escape.

Ibis spawns if you fly underneath the platform, not if you destroy the fleet

Damn thank you. I didn't realize that about the fleet. I blew the fleet to smithereens first and had no idea why I didn't find IBIS...
