I’ve never seen Harvick cry, that’s a first. Truly a tough as nails driver who put one hell of a career together. You weren’t my favorite, but you’re a respected driver through and through. Thank you Kevin for an incredible career
Well said. He was never my favorite but much like Kurt Bucsh I became a fan of them as they got older. Going to miss him mixing it up out there
I watched his interview after the race and he said everyone thinks I'm a hard nosed person, but I truly care for every driver and crew member and everyone in NASCAR.
He became my favorite driver after Dale Jr retired and now I’m moving on to another new driver next season. He was and still is an amazing wheel man. I have a feeling he’ll run races in Trucks and Xfinity at some point. Maybe in the NBC portion of the season when he’s not doing commentary for races.
Same here, I'm moving on to another new driver as well. But, I have no idea who. 🤔@@AWAREDIAGRAM680
Stepped in at the sports darkest moment. Left a hell of a legacy
This comment here! 4Ever!
Well said....I lived and felt that .
Bro I’ve never seen him emotional that’s crazy
Me either.
I have saw him got very emotional like this when he won the 2005 Nascar Xfinity Series race at Texas in the fall when it was called the Busch Series his fatherinlaw passed away his wife Delena Harvicks father when he passed away and I remembered of that time happening
I was thinking the same thing
He was all business in his career, i’ve met him twice really good guy.
Met him 2x at MIS 😮Kevin is amazing! Gonna miss watching him race
Damn. The last of the Winston Cup era drivers is gone
Technically Jimmy Johnson is still racing (albeit on a part time basis). But you're right
I hate getting old.
Thank you Kevin Harvick for all the years in Nascar and your contributions to the sport! Your a class act, and a great embassador to the sport! Enjoy your retirement!!!
A true legend. Nothing but respect for you. You’ll be missed
Cheers To You Kevin Harvick For One Heck Of A Career!!!!!!!
First ballot 🗳️ NASCAR Hall of famer Kevin Harvick 😊
Hat's off to a great career. Great spokesman for the sport
So ends the Winston Cup group…. Next is the Nextel Cup guys. Ky Busch. Truex, Hamlin.
Enjoy your retirement Kevin harvick #4🏁🏁🏁🏁🏆🍸
guy will always have a special spot in a lot of people's hearts. The man that took over for Dale. And his first win right after. Dale was there withm having a beer.
I can guarantee you Dale would be proud
Not gonna lie, I'll miss him on Sundays. Cheers to an amazing career, Mr. Harvick🥂
All those good drivers is leaving nascar 😢
I was thrilled when he took the lead earlier in the race. It was so great to see Harv compete and be competitive one last time. It was an honor being your fan, Harv! Happy retirement!
Been watching NASCAR on the television since it was first broadcast, Harvick is certainly one of the most memorable ones for me and I'll miss him being in a race car.
Damn...this made me tear up a lot more than I expected. The end of an era....excited about the future but damn....end of an era...
Man what a ride , thanks for all the hard work and dedication to us 3 fans that became Harvick fans well done
I wasn't a fan but today I was rooting for Kevin to win the race. He is and awsome driver and will be missed
SAME
I coached high school wrestling in California for over 30 years. On the wall in the Bakersfield Arena, where the state meet is held, is an article giving tribute to Harvick. It mentions that in his senior year he made it to the medal round (top 8) which is VERY difficult to do, and he left the arena. It was opening night at Mesa Marin Speedway and he was the defending track champion. His coach understood.
Congratulations on a great career.
I’m the biggest Harvick fan in the world. Truly an emotional day for me
As a Jimmie Johnson fan, words cannot express how much i respect Kevin. As the next runner up with RCR back in 2001, it was a soothing feeling seeing young talent step up in the footsteps of The Intimidator to win a race so fast at the start of his Winston Cup career! Kevin was satisfying to see dominate during the pandemic era lol. But deep down in my heart, Kevin was always a legend. It was nice watching him compete during the days when I was a teenager and times were much simpler back then. Thanks for the memories Kevin!
I shed a tear today, been following Kevin since that amazing first win at Atlanta in 2001.
Both emotional races...
The closer...
I've been following him since that Daytona photofinish
Great watching you race all these years.Need more driver's like you Kevin 🏁 All the best too you and your family God bless all your days ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
I remember his very 1st race. And now his last. What a career.
Thank you for all your support. It has been good. I will miss it for sure
I remember his career trajectory as well, from Xfinity and Busch series to the Big Show. A lot of it mirrored exactly where I was in life and getting my career established. And now the legend gets to retire. I checked his bio and wouldn’t you know it, we’re only a few weeks apart in age. Guess that makes sense. 😂 Enjoy retirement, Kevin. You earned it. 🍺
Congratulations and Thank You for an incredible career. You helped us Earnhardt fans when shit went sideways and you carried the torch. Enjoy retirement and best wishes for the off season and we will see you in the booth next year
Thank you, Kevin Harvick, for all the wonderful years in Nascar you are the man (Freaky Fast) God bless you and your family........
Farewell Harvick congrats on a hall of fame career
I’ve Never liked Harvick, But this really got me a bit emotional to. Thanks for being a part of this sports history
Farewell Harvick. It's been a good run watching him race in person at Richmond and in Martinsville.
NEVER retire, just go race somewhere else.
He will more than likely start running some short track races in Super Late Models
Damn u Harvick Iv never been a fan but u got me teary-eyed today acouple times. I may not have cheared for u but I'll still miss watching u race every week. Thanks for the memories.
Mr. Kevin Harvick, Thank you for being a racer and the person you are! Since the first time you raced after Dale I have always been a fan!! Thank you for the memories and good luck in your well deserved retirement from NASCAR!! THANK YOU!!!
Kevin You will still always be my favorite NASCAR driver of all time
I get it, he's got a beer sponsor, but I feel like even if he didn't he would've had that cooler of beer with the crew after seeing how Jr. did his farewell toast... It's just a classy way to celebrate that moment.
God bless Kevin for a great performance in 2023 as he will always shine with love ❤️ 💯🔥🔥🫶👏✨️🙌😘👏😉
Respect
Sucks that he didn’t win in his final year, but hope he has a good retirement
The dude is a multimillionaire, I think he'll be alright.
@@rdaws73 Doesn’t matter how much money he has anything could happen in his retirement
Forever a closer
Forever happy
Forever a champion
Forever, Kevin Harvick
I remember watching you on your very first cup race and thought this guy is something special and you didn’t let down ..you will be missed
Thank you. I appreciate it. I did my best
@@rp28u him lol?
I am going to miss Kevin Harvick, it is the ONLY reason why I watch nascar racing. Now who will I be for since he is gonna be gone. 😭I love you Kevin. Shhhh, I have a crush on Kevin Harvick. Such a good looking guy.
I kinda have hated Kevin Harvick for the past 3 years but seeing him not in a race car and as a commentator will always seem wrong to me. Thank you Kevin for all your amazing years in nascar and hopefully you can comeback part time if you want.
Always be remembered as one of the greats! One hell of a career.!
I was one of the skeptics when he jumped into the sport in the 29 car ( 3 car) He took the challenge and made it his own , then driving for Stewart/Hass racing, great way to finish his career. Looking forward to Busch making a commemorative Busch light can !
The first NASCAR race I ever watched was Rockingham 2001. Glad that Kevin was able to go out on his own terms. What a great career.
I was there for that!!
The NASCAR community will miss you as a driver.
A true legend he did a lot for nascar #4ever
AND he STILL kept his streak of top 10s going at Phoenix. He went down swinging, what a legend.
WHY U GOTTA LEAVE US MAN WE LOVE YOU HARVICK
Thank you Kevin, enjoy your retirement. You’ve definitely earned it. Good luck on your endeavors as a commentator for NASCAR!
Congrats to you Kevin.. You had a GREAT career.
Harvick had the weight of the world on his shoulders and big shoes to fill in February of 2001. He made the most of it. What a career! Congratulations, Kevin, and best wishes on your endeavors with major NASCAR network coverage.
Great career - came into the sport just when we needed him.
He will be missed remember seeing him in ASA, Bush and Cup. His first win in Atlanta was so bad ass. This makes me feel so old.
I can remember when he started raining in Nascar just after my man Earnhardt left us all. What a terrible day in my life. Number 3 is still alive. .3 ! Hell yeah!!!
know this was kind of a private moment for Kevin. But my gosh I would have loved to have seen Joey Logono raise a beer for Kevin and take a sip with the rest of those guys. Love him or hate him Kevin was a good racer and a great man off the track. He's got so much to be grateful for. I'm sure Dale Sr. would be very proud of him if he were still alive today.
Thanks for all the great memories Kevin. Your one of the great ones.
Even though Kevin didn't win a championship he is still a legend
He won in 2014????
He has won a Championship for Stewart Hass when they first formed! In 2014!
🤣
LOL A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THIS BUT DALE EARNHARDT SR PICKED HARVICK TOO DRIVE THE NUMBER 3 WHEN HE RETIRES AND UNFORTUNATELY IT HAPPENED A LOT SOONER AND I HAVE A BUNCH OF HARVICK DIECAST CARS AND MY FAVORITE IS HIS ATLANTA WIN IN THE 29 WHEN HARVICK DID A HUGE BURNOUT AND IT'S THE RACED VERSION AND KEVIN HARVICK HAD A GREAT CARRER AND I AM VERY PROUD OF WHAT HE WAS ABLE TO ACHIEVE LOL A NASCAR HALL OF FAMER FOR SURE.
Thank you Kevin for everything you have done. You were a fantastic racer will miss seeing you on the track racing.
When I got into the sport, you were racing the #29 Pennzoil car for Richard Childress. You have been my favorite dtiver since then. I was devastated when you gave up that beautiful looking car. Taking the place of Dale Earnhardt was a big task. Thanks for the memories Harvick. Last of the old breed.
We might miss "Happy Harvick" behind the wheel, but at least we'll hear him in commentary next year ;)
Well done & congrats on your stellar driving career.
I remember when KH hit NASCAR in 01, taking over for the late Dale Earnhardt, driving the 29 Goodwrench, that was emotional for a lot of Earnhardt fans, now to see him finally retire and enjoy a moment with his team and friends is again an emotional sight, thank you Kevin Harvick for the memories and the racing legacy your leaving behind! Enjoy your time with your family and enjoy your retirement! 🇺🇸
Harvick came to NASCAR in 1995 not 2001.
@@paulles1377 he might of came in NASCAR then but he got his big chance when he was brought up to drive for Richard childress
@@davidm6256 then that's what you should have said instead of putting out wrong information.
@@paulles1377 apparently you can't read
He will be forever in the history books as a nascar champion 🏆
Wish Kurt Busch would have gotten the same goodbye present
Always a class act and true champion. Good character, man! Much respect, sir.
And just like that. 22 years and its over! 😢
Thanks for the memories Kevin.
I live in Phx, been to the track many many times...You owned that track no one raced it like you did...
You're a class act. See you in the booth next season...
29/4... The closer...
I wish NBC would cover half of the important moments that you have all season, as a loyal long-time weekly NASCAR fan, thank you.
First time I saw Kevin Harvick was about 1988 , go kart racing in Southern California, he must have been an IKF junior 1, just a little kid standing there with a big helmet ….. history showed he grew into that helmet just fine.
It’s a lot of talent in the seat with a vary good hearted guy-that has been in our lives for years and years , thank❤ you Kevin Harvick ,,,we will see you in the both next year buddy thanks merry Christmas 🎄 thanks BigAl California praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
A he'll of driver Kevin harvick

I will miss seeing you racing Kevin Harvick but I will be looking forward to you broadcasting the races.👍
Goodbye Kevin. I'm truly gonna miss seeing you at the track. 😭😭😭😭😭
I watched you Mr. Kevin Harvick though the years,, a great racer,, a damn good man,, enjoy your retirement ,,, we love man ,,,, thank you ...
Kevin harvick, Tim Fediwa, Rodney Childers, probably the best trio in nascar history
The 444th and Final Career Top 10 in his 826th and Final Career Start
#4EVER
It's cool to see Rodney there and being a successful crew chief.....I raced karts with.....well, against him back in 1995-96. He was a factory driver for Olimpic Karts back then. The factory colors were purple and white with some yellow. I remember when the Olimpic 007 come out and Rodney was kicking everyone's ass and won the championship in three classes in WKA in the same season. I remember Daytona that same year we were down there and there were like 280-300 karts entered and Rodney cleaned up. I seen him a few years ago at the Phoenix Cup race, I had hot passes for the garage and I talked to him about it and he laughed and said "man that was a looong time ago". It was cool to see how successful he become from racing karts. I knew he was smart as hell with the karts back then, he wasn't just the driver, he was working on them and was the setup guy etc.
I'm wondering if he's considering being a TV analyst?? he'd be great- no BULLSHIT
Ok, I said I wasn't going to cry and I did. I wore one of my Kevin Harvick tees 😊 to say thank you is not enough. Amazing career for The Closer and Freaky Fast ; enjoy retirement 😊
I will always be #Harvicksnumber1fan !!!!! It will be hard to watch next year. Hopefully soon Keelen will racing with the big boys soon! #4Ever #happyharvick
Thank you Kevin for representing what I think a driver/competitior should be and never compromising.
Tough, clean when you were driven clean and rough when you were driven rough. Spoke what was on your mind to whoever needed it. This is why you are so respected.
Other driver's need to look at this career and whether you agree with it or not it, you can't deny that this is a huge reason why he has been successful for his entire career.
Not to be ignored is that he is a great father and husband.
The love that he has for his family and they for him is evident!!
"What do we do now?" your fans are all asking themselves the same question bud. There will never be another racer I root for like I rooted for you. Man, this is bittersweet.
You s.o.b. I told my parents the afternoon dale was announced he was gone that you were going to drive the car. Been a loyal fan of yours 4 ever and thanks for the memories man. 4 ever harvick!!!!!
Wow, I've never seen him this emotional. Thanks for the many years he's given to this sport, and I will sure miss him on the track. All the drivers I grew up watching are retiring, I don't know who to cheer anymore...
Happy he got to lead in his final start, definitely wanted that Cinderella ending but this is good enough
See you in the booth champ, I know you're gonna knock it out of the friggin' park
much respect to a true legend, icon, etc. -- that was instant karma for filling the seat of an icon that was tragically lost.. but idk anyone who could have did it any better.. salute
I don’t know who I’ll root for now.
Enjoy alittle time with the fam....you deserve it. Always a racer.
it's been one hell of a ride-
