Mindfray is pretty good for captures tho. And a good filler ability in general when shot/overwatch chances are low.
That's why you have Lead By Example. Also, Psi Inspiration and TK Field don't need high Will to be used.
Are you using some sort of armor deco with the armors? It looks like there is another set overlapping the armors.

I wish the suits or at least counterparts of them were added to Xcom 2.
they are in legacy pack. But you can get only the plated one tho
Mods, my dude. Most of them are already available via the EU/EW Port mods, most are cosmetic only though.
