Fun as always
Going to Sandrock AL this weekend should have some good videos but yeah I love meme reviews
Josh- I'll explain the jargon.
Josh 90 second later - They can beta spray up till 5.15
Hahaha this is harder then I thought
That naked guy sticking his gear in the crag is definitely aid climbing
This shit is funny. We need more meme reviews in the future, please
Hasn’t every climber done the mapping at 2:06. I’ve added to my personal BS by doing the ‘air hands’…mocking the moves I couldn’t do. Great video!
Ok, I literally use my shin and face to climb. I call it the shin-chin . I’m glad to know that’s not considered aid. 😂😂
You seem like such a cool guy.. Come to Poland some time and visit our Tatra mountains... I bet you havent seen that magical place yet. There are hundreds of bolted routes, big mountains, big boulders, and every imaginable level of difficculty.
I get the opposite of the thumbnail meme. I am a freaking giraffe and if a short person sets a route I blame it on that. 😅
I probably look absolutely ridiciulous 🤣
how to climb steel cable??? Metal prusics ?? How to descend steel cable? We need this technolgy
We need this technolgy
Truly magnificent. Pls make this happen again.
bravo for the concept
I freaking love climbing memes.
The beta climbers new intro jingle specifically says that "if you think that chalk is aid....its time to learn something from climbing fails" implying that it is WRONG to think that chalk is aid. Josh please make up your goddamn mind, I can barely tell if I'm coming or going at this point
They do make plugs for the bolt holes in plastic holds. You normally see them used in comps.
me and my mates call it a technical knee and i say its only for the elite climbers.
Thank you, man! 👍
I legit was the short guy pissed AF yesterday when a tall climber just skipped the crux and sent yesterday on my V3 project indoor. YES I AM NEW TO BOULDERING! lol
"Select the images that contain aid climbing" - They actually do make bolt hole plugs. Commonly used in competition climbing because if they don't use a plug, the bolt hole is a legal part of the hold. I will not share my opinion on whether I think it's aid or not though, haha.
I dig it.
More memes!!!
BetaClimbers is aid.
As a Uk climber
I’ve never heard anyone say
Bee taa
Twas liked.
MAKE ANOTHER!!!
It would be great if tall climbers were acknowledged for how much harder they have to work on any compressed climbing where the holds are much closer to the center of the body as they have to bend their arms inward and come away from the wall more often than shorter climbers. Its harder to bridge between two close holds like smaller climbers can as the taller climber must pinch the holds with their wrists coming out from the wall rather than going across the wall.
I love my cheap and durable ATC Guide by black diamond. Grigris are unnecessary
Lol this
Memes!!!! Moar meme!
Chalk is aid…harsh
chalk is aid
American claims to have invented ancient Greek and then fails to pronounce it in the English language - CLIMBING FAIL
🤣 the term came from Betamax VHS tapes
@@BetaClimbers you mean… bee-tah-max? 🤔
@@arthurn.a7271 right exactly bay-tuh
"What's a grigri?"
"when it's backwards you use an ATC or a tuber"
World's worst climbing dictionary.
Lol a grigri is a automatic transmission and a tuber is a manual. 😂
Wtf is a "dyno"?
Dyno is short for dynamic. Anything that requires you to throw your body in the air is a dyno. Jumping, swinging, flying like a bat. = dyno. The opposite is static, reaching up or across with body tension, usually more difficult but more precise and predictable.
Can also be a dinosaur.
@@BetaClimbers understood. Thanks.
beta is greek - not american.
Bay-tah? Bay-tah? What strange words are you speaking? Learn to speak *English* ;)
Fans are clearly air, that's why Ondra didn't send Perfecto Mundo.
