i got one of these 1985/86, Big-version, my pet monster dolls, at a thrift-store. i paid about $5 for it. with tax, it cost me $4.35. its awesome, and now one of my favorite things 2 own in my collection. its worth $100?, wow. well, now i am even happier i got my hands on one in mint condition.
I donated mine at a local thrift shop. He was all musty and his fur was so dry. I hurt myself being his face was too hard. He was on a too shelf and he felt right on my head. I never really thought anything special about it being he was too big and ugly. Still, it was just me.
I had that same one! Also I remember this plastic alien/monster toy where you dissect it. I can't remember what it was called, but it came with guts and that green ooze which you pour in it's chest and do like an autopsy on it. It was cool to the maxx. Did you have one of those?
For a future video could you talk about those hand goblin things. I had a few when I was little( the 80's) and they were all the rage. I believe you could move the eyes and mouth like puppet.

I'll tell you what,,I had one,his name was Speedy. Hands down,thee BEST PUSSY PICKER. I went to alot of parties back in the 80's, and just about every time,these girls who knew me,knew that I kept Speedy in the back seat.These girls would walk around carrying Speedy all around the party,acting like he was real,it never failed. He met his demise from my Timber wolf,he literally ate Speedy. Fast forward 34 years later,I see that there was a cult-type following and they are worth a butt load today I'm going to collect"DOLLS" at age 54, My Pet Monster kicks ass!!!
My Pet Monster was awesome! I was born in '84 and I remember the movie and had the plushes! Watched it in the last 10 years and it's a terrible movie, but I loved it. I had the one in the cage with the cuffs.

He would use it to scare me in the worst possible ways every other night and he thought it was hilarious he still does. But he doesn't think so it's a hilarious when I smack him in the face every time he mentions it that's what I think is hilarious me smacking them for the shit he did... he really wasn't a good father
