It's a very sad song to me because we harpooned the right whales to near extinction and yet Japan and several other countries still have ongoing commercial whaling fleets. There are estimated to be less than 70 female right whales left and those numbers are just a hopeful guess. I wish an artist would change the lyrics to something constructive.
