Here in the US we have Lego candies about the texture of Sweet Tarts that are sold in just about every candy store I've been to. Plus, they're buildable! You can actually build whatever you'd like with them, and they'd look great on cupcakes if you can't get the molds.

I was planning a Lego bday party for my sons , instead I took them to Legoland and they loved it. They sell the brick silicone. But instead I bought the lego lollipop mold, it's awesome.

Wow! What a great tutorial, I bought the Lego molds and made the figures out of chocolate, but they were a nightmare to make and were so delicate I thought they'd melt. Next time I'll try making them with fondant. Now I can't wait to see your giant Lego cupcake video. Thanks so much for these great ideas.
Your welcome Sol Aldana, did you make these out of plain chocolate or from my modelling chocolate tutorial video? If using modelling chocolate did you put them in the freezer? You must work quickly to avoid the dreaded melting phase! ;-) Elise x
I used plain chocolate, and make them in Advance and kept them in the fridge until I decorated the cake, but it was so hot they started to melt as I was handling them. The worst part was delivering the cake, it was in an indoor pool and the place was superb hot and humid. Never again thanks to you :)

You also can use candy bricks for Legos. I made some delicious cupcakes and used candy bricks and then I made some myself but I would recommend candy bricks. I bought my candy bricks at a amazing candy store at my local mall called Kacey's Kandy but you can find them at the store.
To come up with all of these ideas, especially three times a week, do you ever Google ideas or reference decorating books, or are all these ideas purely your own? I LOVE watching your videos, by the way - I look forward to seeing them every week!

I know this sounds like nonsense, but is it really have some ways to make the cupcakes even more healthier? I'm asking this since I've watched some of your videos and it's spectacular to be honest! But then I realized that even if I'm done baking it, I can't eat it as I have to think about the amount of calories intake. I know that if I'm concerned about the calories, then I shouldn't have do it but the cravings sometimes getting over me. Don't be misunderstood, I didn't meant that your cupcakes have a lot of calories in it. It just that I'm afraid I'm gonna overeating it since it might turns out great and plus, as a sister, I want to make something healthy for the younger sister so that she can get through the day at her school or anywhere so am I. If you did know, it'll be really an honour for me or probably for all of us, to know another awesome knowledge from you and to bake and to enjoy it. I know this is dripping long but I hope you notice this and help us maybe? Thank you! :D
Hi Hei oo, I am always on the look out for healthier ways to make cupcakes, however they are a sweet food and as such i don't recommend you or your sister eat them every day. I will endeavour to find some healthier versions and see what i can come up with in the future. :-) Elise x
I would suggest making angel food cupcakes they don't have as many calories or fat as regular do. If your gonna make regular cupcakes hei oo you can use applesauce instead of oil or butter and leave out the frosting and try some light cool whip and add some fresh fruit.

Re-use those little cut bits of fondant? No way! They would get eaten straight away.
Fondant never struck me as one of those things you would munch on while you were decorating, then again I don't really enjoy the taste.

She could've made the lego men with melted then colored white chocolate. Easier to get into the molds and much more yummier.

Very cute!!!! If using modeling chocolate how do you make the lego pieces stick together. It seems like the water might not work for them.
If you don't have success using small amounts of water Judy Wilson, use a small amount of melted chocolate.
