Circle restrictor gates are used by Korean levers and by extension Tekken players. Octogates are the least commonly used gates since it's not standard in majority of sticks.
Got a JOV8S. It was nice until I ran into a major issue. Return to neutral sometimes gives you the opposite input. Example: releasing from down gives me up. Had it right out of the box.
I just got that stick and I have the same issue. I tried the other two tension springs that came with it and they had the same problem as well. Did you end up finding a silent stick without this issue (or any issues)?
@@Crowlo17 It suffers from serious deflection. If you put it in any direction and let go, you'll get the opposite as it returns to neutral. You gotta put a very heavy spring in to stop it, but at that point why bother
bro what is that thumbnail

Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the review man! Good to hear they have the circular gate cos I’ll be using that one definitely!
thanks for the support!!!
I change spring to hard feeling more confident to play my game. Very nice this qanba JOV8S stick part
For what game
I wonder how this compares to the sanwa silent joystick
Try it qanba JOV8S much better
Bought one with the cherry MX module, unfortunatelly diagonals didn't work, it felt great but I was unable to hit diagonals no matter what I did
Did you switch to octagonal gate?
Is she as good as sanwa and how is she at pulling off moves?
you're a good man
is this JOV8S or JCV8 model?
is this compatible with QR shaft ? , oh btw nice thumbnail :- D
Unfortunate you didn't mention the awful rebound the lever suffers.
Maybe he didn't have that issue.
Wdym by awful rebound? It doesn’t go to neutral correctly ?

That's exactly what I experienced. Sometimes I try to double knee press with Bison, just to get a hop by mistake.
You guys must have heavy hands. Don’t experience this with mine.
Stop with the dumb glove 😂
It's pronounced- "Chan-buh"
i thought it was Kwan-bah lol
