It's very strange to see Jimmy answer these questions so seriously and just be so open about how he feels. I'm used to him just being goofy and joking around. He's a really interesting guy and you can tell that underneath his goofball persona he's actually a very intelligent man. I would love to have the opportunity to pick his brain. MSI was a huge part of my teenage years growing up.
I love BVB. I really like how respectful Jimmy was in saying that he disliked them. He doesn't have anything against them as people, just doesn't like their music. I think thats how it should be for any band, honestly.
Black veil brides was opening for birthday massacre and started trying to get the crowd to chant "fuck Canada" and everyone just stared at them and couple ppl yelled "fuck YOU"... And the losers were waving American flags and acting like they were toby Keith. Jimmy probably does hate them for real

I think it's *very* refreshing to see a musician be so blunt with his opinion and the truth of the music industry. Jimmy is really just out there with his opinion, it's like he said. If you're gonna put yourself up on a stage for people to see, you need to be ready for and expect criticism. I've always seen it like that too.
But I really like how he isn't a dick when it comes to how he thinks of a band like BVB. I haven't listened to them since I was 10 three years ago, and even then it was only a few songs. But I can really respect them for what they do and I really respect Jimmy for not being an asshole when he said what he thinks about them. It's nothing personal, and he said that, he made that clear. It's just the music and stuff that he doesn't like and he left it at that. Very cool!

I like how he puts his opinions out there! I love BVB and Mindless :) Both are great bands but really different genres. It's not one or the other, it's both .

I respect the honesty; he wasn't even talking shit on Black Veil Brides. He was just saying, "that's not really his taste of music" But the ONE criticism in *my opinion* is it's sad how he said do not go into music because....their is no money to be made.
His advice for musicians broke my heart but also informed me very well lol

Talking about how music has turned into work for him I see a lot in my brother, who is training to be a chef, because whenever we go to resturants all he does is think about what ingredients they used and whether or not it's a good recipe. And I can see that in a lot of artistic jobs, too
I was afriad when I saw the title that he was gunna say something like "Black Veil Brides is great." Or something similar, but I am so glad he just flat out said he didn't like them. A "Boy ban version of motley crue without the drugs." Funny.

I love BVB and I love this guy and if he doesn't like there music then its whatever. At least he didn't say he hated the guys in the band see BVB needs more haters like him.
Too bad almost all the clips their showing are just of Lindsey.
I thought the reason was that the rest of them didn't get as close to the photo pit in the first 3 songs, so we couldn't get any half-decent images with the 35mm lens we were using for video. However, there are (surprisingly) only 4 clips of LynZ, 3 of Jimmy, 1 of Kitty and 1 of Steve. I say surprisingly because I remember the photographer they had this night struggled to get any good photos of anyone but LynZ. So, it's not as bad as I thought on the spread.
Yeah, she moves around a lot. I love it though, all the energy.

I love MSI's music, and I do agree with a lot he says... However one thing that truly bothered me is that he seems to be too focused on the money... Any musician should create music simply because they love and have a passion for their art, not because "it pays the rent".

@3:12 If your only doing this because it pays the bills then why are you making music. In my opinion you should be making music because that's what you love to do. From the way he talks it sounds like his heart isn't really in it anymore. Maybe other people have a different opinion but that's mine.
Would you do your job if you didn't get paid? Even if you liked it, you do need an income, that's how the world works. People don't do shit for the sole reason of enjoying it. I think Jimmy was just telling the truth. Do you think people in the music industry, especially popular artists, would do it if they didn't gain anything?
