He wasn’t called Nitro Zeus on the package because his name came from a US cyber attack that the US created, and called it Nitro Zeus. Remember the line in the scene where Megatron is getting his crew back, and the woman says “We request he doesn’t leave the county, and we’re serious about that” They’re making a stab about his namesake, not to launch the cyber attack. Anyways, they thought selling a toy named after a war tactic name was a little too.... war-ish. So Nitro it is!
He could be repainted as beastwars inferno or waspinator

Great comparison/review. Reminds me of Machine Wars Cyberjets. Definitely some missed opportunities with Thundercracker.

You know what, repainted green and yellow with the wings spread outs, this insect design for Thundercracker could made a cool looking Waspinator.
This could of been a great Starscream reformatted design

The Titan Master heads that pair best with these two:
Nitro:
1st: TR Voyager Megatron, which you showed in the Chill Review, is great if you want a Machine Wars Megatron
2nd: Thunderwing from the Seige on Cybertron Set. It gets you close to a sort of G1 version, almost an IDW version. Add the Toyhax conversion set to push the look further
Thundercracker:
He looks great with the Overkill/Overboard TM and the T-Rex module gives you an extra gun. The reason for this guy is he gives you a close to G1 looking Thundercracker with his head mode.
I went with Thunderwing & Nitro and Thundercracker & Overkill for my versions but still also use the stock heads. When the stock heads are on the TM are in the arm cockpit.

I can say that your video is the first, and only, video I've seen that said anything about the heads being removable as I didn't know that they were removable.
You're watching the wrong people. Every video I've ever watched said they had was a removable and he mentioned that cogman has a deleted scene where he takes over Nitro Zeus body

Dark blue is unsurprising...Hasbro's almost always gone for that G1 toy accuracy there instead of that more animation accurate light blue. (I say almost because while the Fall of Cybertron one still has dark blue, it's a lot lighter a shade than Hasbro's usual fare)
The bug motif on this and the old DotM figure really bugs me. The 2007 Movie Thundercracker (repainted & retooled from Starscream) had a more G1 styled head AND was probably the only Hasbro Thundercracker in the proper light blue. (It was the Thundercracker version of the mold that got repainted into Walmart exclusive RotF Skywarp)
Meanwhile, I never saw Nitro Zeus in stores, and Thundercracker was never an option as the Toys R Us near me was among the first few hundred to be shut down...so it was probably gone before the line came out.
If it had that light blue that you wanted, I wouldn't have bought it. The dark blue is way more appealing to me.

I have Transformers Studio series number 9 Thundercracker I got him last year for Christmas and I'm having fun with him since I didn't get Nitro Zeus I know he's a read mode of them but he's doing excellent bigger to add to my collection I don't have a have no complaints about the color scheme I just like it all

This was a long time ago and I haven't touched that thing in a while. They have joints that rotate around it's simple

I'm not a fan of Takara unifying with Hasbro like this, it's just a different way of saying we're getting cheap so goodbye to lovely intricate paintjobs from Takara.

i will tell here a long trivia like i always do in your videos, except it will be short
nitro has more paint than thundercracker...
ok no, i need to tell long trivias, nitro zeus is based directly on age of extinction ksi boss, but with a new gun on the left arm, also the head is not completely different, painting the middle eye and changing the horns it does look exactly like ksi boss(the design you see on the artwork of the box) he does have 4 extra eyes, that are painted on some copies of the figures and some have them still unpainted making him have 5 eyes, also yes thudnercracker has a better colo contrast because it uses greys blacks blues and reds, but nitro has pained details all over the place, legs specially, but since is black on that greyish white it just looks as monocrhomatic as he can xD
