i remember going to this video shoot it was such a sick day, like four stories up in some practice covered in ripped out pages from nuts or something. vocalist nearly went out one of the windows crowd surfing. plus they played a mini set, and this song about fifteen times, mennnntal. still got my tie-dye pink tee from that day
100% agree. There are always guys who winge that "There are too many people who are only into the music because its cool." Personally I think its cool that there are more people getting into the music so long as they go to shows, buy merch and get involved.
I wish people would stop complaining about 'the scene' and just be happy that people are still making great music and playing shows where enough kids turn up to pay the bills.
2024 and this isnt the production style thats still simply hanging on as relevant, its the production style thats still the goal to still aim for.. it shits simplicity and eats beefy.
If you've never been to a true hardcore show, you have no idea how people act at their shows. This is normal. It's how we have fun. All those kids are probably friends, and pretty much EXPECT to get hit.
My band's practice room is next door to the one they shot the vid in. What's even more brutal than the music is lugging the carpets out of the practice room where they shot it and back in again afterwards. So dusty...
Im seeing some posts about moshing. You cant judge someone based on they're choice of mosh. I personally love hate moshing, its a good exercise, get to release anger and have fun. I just cant get into push pitting, its not physical enough. Dont know how it is in other cities but Buffalo is really into the beatdown type music so most likely if you go to any show in Buffalo, NY you will most likely see people throwing down/ fighting invisible ninjas. Also, please stop labeling them as emo, they express they're feelings but on a high level of pure hate, instead of like a emo person whom just pouts and crys.
they do, i'm friends with desolated and really like their music, they aren't a hardcore band really though so the argument about it is weird, to me as i think they are a metal / doomy band with hardcore attitude and ethics and some elements in the music. i appreciate all sub genres they have their place, yeh check them bands out and find similar ones from them, i could suggest some more if you like?
Not even mad at this. They may not look as hard as they sound, but they sound hard af. Video seems to be local kids going at it - ALWAYS cool. Definitely going to check for more shit they got.
Texas has Pantera, Power Trip, Iron Age, The Sword, Mammoth Grinder, Afflictive Nature, Modern Pain, Truth etc. One of the best metal/hardcore scenes in America if not the world imo
@PornForTheSoul It was UA-cams test for the brand new html5 coding which introduced new features such as speed controls but it had loads of playback issues i believe as most peoples PCs didnt have certain software installed so theyve recalled it for a while. HTML5 is still in testing.
here is were the hardcore want to die...with all this coments...great band...great crowd...respect from ARGENTINA...see all these kids give me hope....the hardcore not dead...
i want this fuckin hoodie! these guys have something unique to them, i think its the lower speed compared to similar hardcore bands, i really dont know, but i really like their stuff, sounds awesome :)
I personally don't hate anyone. :) It's just that, as I said previously, some people are foccused on their image like this is what is gonna make them so much cooler than another band, on anyone else. You see ? And that's sad. Nobody's hating on people wearing clothes they like, but people that want to prove they are more legit than you cause they are so trendy. But anyway, we are all here for the music so... :) Cheers !
walter you're dissing on desolated but liking Malevolence.. I hope you know those 2 bands are good friends of eachother.. And they influence eachother alot..
i just watched 'the end' and that looks pretty fucking awesome. but this video really looked like some guys that think they're hardcore, but really look pathetic. in the other video they actually looked like they didn't give a damn AT ALL
2024, 12 years later. Much has changed, we're older ... but Desolated still destroyes !
i remember going to this video shoot it was such a sick day, like four stories up in some practice covered in ripped out pages from nuts or something. vocalist nearly went out one of the windows crowd surfing. plus they played a mini set, and this song about fifteen times, mennnntal. still got my tie-dye pink tee from that day

Still banging this 2020 🤘
genuinely believe these are the best hardcore band in the UK right now.
They aren't hardcore
@@MossMachine*hardcore beatdown
the best song Desolated put together imo
Jesus came back to form one of the best bands i've heard in years.
If Desolated are hardcore then i don't know what hardcore is anymore.
Yo these dudes need to hit the states and tour with Knocked Loose or something..
😏
They played a half hour away from me in tacoma this year with World of Pain and I fucked up huge and missed it!
they are starting their final ever US tour this friday in Orlando. ive waited YEARS to see them. finally happening
I wish people would stop complaining about 'the scene' and just be happy that people are still making great music and playing shows where enough kids turn up to pay the bills.

2024 and this isnt the production style thats still simply hanging on as relevant, its the production style thats still the goal to still aim for.. it shits simplicity and eats beefy.
so psyched to be supporting these guys on the 31st
10/10 Would spinkick
Beatdown has death metal influences.
Beatdown is a branch off of 90s Metallic hardcore and 90s Deathcore. So of course the Death Metal influences are there
R.I.P. This LineUp
My brother's been listening to knocked loose lately so I decided I was gonna check this genre out. Thanks to Desolated in a pit soon I will be .
sick! love how the song kicks in, even Justin Bieber is a fan 0:40

Still play their old stuff live though!
The Birth Of Corruption FTW!
So heavy, great editing too! good job
If you've never been to a true hardcore show, you have no idea how people act at their shows. This is normal. It's how we have fun. All those kids are probably friends, and pretty much EXPECT to get hit.
***** No, I'M more hardcore!
Yeah, it's very normal to go home with concussion or some teeth missing...
Jorrrryyyy
blablabl12 it acutally is... crowdkilling is what hardcore does best don't like it don't go see bands like deso then
Jory Langdon this is not normal for a fucking hardcore show. this normal for a band such as this that is beatdown and crowdkilling oriented.
Just yearning for the day these dudes tour the states it's on!
This video quality is incredible !
theres loads of good music from the uk you mad one
So good . Come to tampa pleaseeeee
My band's practice room is next door to the one they shot the vid in. What's even more brutal than the music is lugging the carpets out of the practice room where they shot it and back in again afterwards. So dusty...
Excellent song. Can't be more beatdown than this.
Nicely done lads! Nice to see boys from malevolence in there
This band is amazing !!!
Seeing these on Saturday for their new music video! :D
the UK has been stepping their game up. Texas approves.
Can't wait 'til the 29th December. Desolated come to Middlesbrough with Demoraliser!

James Gibson Emo was pretty much the same. It's quite a misused concept. Orchid and page99 wasn't really just pouting and crying, really.
Finally, someone who actually understands Hardcore moshing
James Gibson buffalo does have a big hardcore scene I'm from Rochester so I can vouch
Their
Finally, someone with a brain.
They went from Deathcore to Hardcore/Beatdown. Success.
yeah this is choice! good work boys!
Woah massive change in sound. That seemed to happen quickly. Big improvement.
Desolated's vocalist from the song's video looks like Jesús Yisus
Pretty sure that's Alex from Malevolence in the video as well? Might be wrong.
filmed in the old malev practice room mate
They look so young haha
they do, i'm friends with desolated and really like their music, they aren't a hardcore band really though so the argument about it is weird, to me as i think they are a metal / doomy band with hardcore attitude and ethics and some elements in the music. i appreciate all sub genres they have their place, yeh check them bands out and find similar ones from them, i could suggest some more if you like?
Does anyone know who recorded/produced this? NEED MOARR
Why is this so much better than the album version :/
Holy shit, well glad i came across this! Sound MASSIVE!
This seriously goes hard. Damn.
1:57guy in the middle 2:08 guy on the mic 2:59 guy bodysurfing
Alex from Malevolence ?? :D
These guys need to come to the States. Holy shit that would rule.
Not even mad at this. They may not look as hard as they sound, but they sound hard af. Video seems to be local kids going at it - ALWAYS cool. Definitely going to check for more shit they got.
Seeing them for the 5th time in March :D
Remember seeing you's at the Earl in Sheffield.
Was fucking madness.
Well These have gained themselves a new fan.
Please tour with Harms Way and Brutality Will Prevail in the states. Holy shit.
The downtempo is strong with this one
Texas has Pantera, Power Trip, Iron Age, The Sword, Mammoth Grinder, Afflictive Nature, Modern Pain, Truth etc. One of the best metal/hardcore scenes in America if not the world imo
Crazy it’s almost been 10 years...
holy fucking shit! this is amazing!!!
screamer has the "and not a fuck was given that day" dance down perfectly
These, Wraiths and Demoraliser. 29th December can't wait.
I remember when these guys were straight up deathcore.
@PornForTheSoul It was UA-cams test for the brand new html5 coding which introduced new features such as speed controls but it had loads of playback issues i believe as most peoples PCs didnt have certain software installed so theyve recalled it for a while. HTML5 is still in testing.

Video rules. Great Job.
@G4RYT4YLOR dude is it like 2008 where are you still?
So much potential..
i want this fuckin hoodie! these guys have something unique to them, i think its the lower speed compared to similar hardcore bands, i really dont know, but i really like their stuff, sounds awesome :)
Wow, the vocals sounds different than before, but still, awesome shit.
I personally don't hate anyone. :) It's just that, as I said previously, some people are foccused on their image like this is what is gonna make them so much cooler than another band, on anyone else. 3080p 8k uhd????
HAHAHA 0:29 John Baines hits the deck
Come to the US! :(
The bassist is wearing a Slayer shirt. Much respect
It's a good thing these guys clearly have their heart in this, because the talent is seriously lacking...
this is dopeee
Moshing has always been like this within Hardcore once it hit the 90's.
Where can I find one of those inverted cross + pentagram tie dye shirts?
Can someone explain 2 symbols of their shirt for this song? I have no clue what the true meaning of the down right and down left ist
They used to be a deathcore band, but are slowly moving to downtempo hardcore
Great job at TakeDown Twenty Twelve Guitar Central Stage on the 18th guys!!!
This song will always go hard 2023 anyone!?
What hoodie is the vocalist wearing and where can I buy it
