Michelle Yeoh better win or at least get nominated for best actress in a leading role at the Oscars next year cause her acting was incredible in Everything Everywhere All At Once
Oscars for everybody. Yeoh, Quan, the Daniels, the editor, costumes
I think the academy will forget this movie exists by then… and by that I mean they won’t watch it.
Fka twigs is the shit.
This movie came out way too early for an Oscars campaign run.
@@cup_and_cone get out and black panther came out in February, yet they both won Oscars and managed multiple nominations including Best Picture. I feel like Everything Everywhere is way too good for it to be ignored during awards season: critics love it, audiences love it, and it's been a remarkable box office success.
Everything Everywhere All At Once is the most creative movie I've ever seen in quite a while, whether it's in terms of its visuals or story. Not only is it my favorite film of the year so far, but it's also my new favorite of all time too.
Agreed with whatever you’re trying to say, but “the most creative movie I’ve ever seen in quite a while” makes absolutely no sense 🤣 at least not in this universe🤔
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣☻
Rarely does a movie come along that does so much well.
Easily one of the best movies I have ever watched.
I feel sorry for your life then.
this is an absolute masterpiece, everyone need to watch this in the cinema while they can.
Honestly, it's so worth seeing on the big screen.
I watched this movie in theater 2 times. And both times, I felt like I was immersed with the movie itself and I can feel like experienced everything in the movie. It's the irreplaceable experience in my life.
Michelle Yeoh is a legend of cinema. Glad this role brought her to the spotlight. She deserves an Oscar high time. Ke huy Kuan equally deserves one for supporting actor if not more. EEAAO is one of the finest films of the century
Liked it even more than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
She would get it, but for Cate Blanchett’s amazing performance in Tar. They are both powerhouse performances, but I’d give the edge to Blanchett.
!!!!!!!
With just its first shot I fell in love with this movie it’s so refreshing to see a movie that truly feels like a creators full unhindered vision
A24 has many crown jewels, but Everything everywhere all at once is the brightest and most beautiful of them all.
It's hard to believe this film exists, it's just so indescribably perfect and miraculous in every way. Even calling it a masterpiece feels like a gross understatement...
This movie heals its viewers
Just saw this - please go and see it. It's fantastic. Hot dogs and racoons had me crying real tears of laughter in the cinema.
When her husband was in her arms and he goes "Whats going on? Was I Racoon Wei Man Again?" I lost it 🤣. The movie has some real hilarious moments
Hot dogs and raccoons had me crying real tears
That's how good this movie is
I genuinely cried at how they use those scenes later in the movie too. It's too good
Not only did I go to see it in the movie theaters twice because it was so good but I also pre-ordered it, thankfully it came last night and they already download it. This is got to be one of my top five movies of all time it is right up there with parasite.
Watched it in theatre, and I want to watch it again right after the end of the film~ So much details that I want to go over and over again.
Michelle Yeoh is without a doubt, amazing. But it was Ke Huy Quan's character, Waymond, that really made me cry multiple times. His speech about kindness was like a great wakeup call to this chaotic world, without being cheesy or hypocritical. Love Waymond so much...
Rarely have I considered that a film is so good, such a cinematic masterpiece, that after seeing it I felt overwhelmed, and that I urgently needed to see it again. Everything Everywhere All At Once is such a film.
If this movie doesn't absolutely CLEAN UP at the Oscars I'll... keep not watching The Oscars.
Best movie I've seen in the last decade.
I think EEAAO might winning 3 Academy Awards
This is definitely not a movie for everyone. But for those who enjoys, it shines like diamond and flows like the rivers from my childhood memories... After watching it in theatre, I can't stop searching for its clips and reading comments on UA-cam. Thank you, A24.
11 Oscar Nominations!!! Congratulations to everyone involved. Best movie I've seen in decades!
0:27 Some little foreshadowing on the right of the mirror 🦝
Nice catch!
I honestly didn't think that Stephanie Hsu (Joy) was 31 years old. She looks younger.
captivating performances across the board with a really solid story = a fantastic movie
"but it's what you and i see, right?" when i first watched it in the cinema, i was bored by the normal cliche of a character being unreasonably optimistic, but rewatching this just make me feel emotional
watching it again & seeing Evelyn's head drop and hearing that sound cue at 2:24 ish, it's like a reverse verse jump- just as she's about to access what her life would've been without Waymond and Joy, she disconnects.
This movie will make you think of life, your own life and in how you can change it for the better
One of my fave films in recent years
I have so much love for this movie, it became my favorite very soon after watching it for the first time and I plan to get the 4K as soon as it releases
It released last night!
@@kennykutts9353 It released digitally but I’m waiting for the physical release which I believe is set for early July
*Future Re-Releases PLEASE!!*
watching it on the small screen is nothing compared to the theatrical experience.
Yesss
i wish i saw it in theater :/
In theaters this weekend!
I'd love to make it an annual tradition to have a screening every Lunar New Year
Absolutely love this movie, great job to everyone involved in its production. This is perhaps my favorite movie of all time.
Deserve to win for best picture!!!
The circles are Everywhere!
This movie was an experience! Loved it so much.
The entirety of this opening laundromat scene has the be best use of a natural exposition dump that I’ve ever seen in a film.
i just want to appreciate the setting - the interior design replicated an asian-american household so well it feels so real
2:51 - I gasped at that shot on my second viewing.
Every scene of the movie was PERFECT 🙌
One of the greatest entertainment media in the past 30 years
I used to struggle to give an answer when someone asks me what’s my favourite film.
Now I have a firm reply.
Amazing movie. I will watch it again
Still not released in Japan… but I’m so hyped!
Waymond is just the sweetest, the way we greats Becky compared to Evelyn gets me every time 😭
Release date at cinemas here in Brazil is 23th this month. I”ll be there
Go watch this!!!!
This movie rocks big time. Creative, simple but powerful and awesome. Straight to the films I won't get bored watching. Congratulations 🎊 yo everyone involved. A Breath of fresh air.
A total enigmatic rollercoaster ride. Just watch it!
One of the most unique and amazing films ive ever seen
Watched this on a plane to Boston Monday night last week loved it 😭😍😍still
Best movie of the year and of the last 5 years!
The fact that the first shot is Evelyn, Waymond and Joy doing karaoke, smiling and having fun (probably in another universe) is crazy. It's something so simple, but after you watched the movie, you realise that it represents everything they don't have: they are happy, they are bonding, they don't worry about anything. And that never happens in the movie until they start working on their problems.
Saw it yesterday, mind blowing. It's a masterpiece .
Its the only movie i wanna go back to cinema and watch again
This is still the movie to beat this year!!
Masterpiece
I love this movie so much
amazing movie
this is one of my favorite movies not only of the year but of all the ones A24 has made, it's a fucking work of art!!!!!
Absolutely incredible
Hands down Best movie of the year!!
Waymond is so adorable
Can't wait to see it! Sadly released in October in my country goddammitt
Wish I could watch it
best movie ever
Omg It's short round!!!
A24’s highest grossing movie of all time, let’s go!
Great film 👍
Perfection
Somehow I always find myself coming back just to rewatch the intro part of the movie. Something about the chaotic atmosphere really hits home for me, as an Asian.
Can't wait for it to come out in France
31st August lmao
They need to dub this so that’s why it’s taking so long
@@ftjm69 I knoooow but stiiiiiiiiill, I hate waitiiiiing
Best movie I have ever seen in my life
He's Vietnamese and she's Malaysian, but their Mandarin is on point!
Congrats on a sweep!
Whuuut? I didn't know there was a preview. Haha. Y'all better watch it in a theater to appreciate it more. ☺
Just noticed the raccoon next to the mirror at the start. I love this movie even more now...
What?!? An action film where the protagonist isn't a typical stereotypical action hero but an Asian-American 59 year old woman?!? Holy crap. I'm amazed.
Good News: Everything Everywhere All at Once has 11 nominations including Best Actress for Michelle, Best Supporting Actor for Ke guy Quan, Best Supporting Actress for Stephanie and Jaime, Best Director and Best Picture! So Happy! 👍🏻😉❤️
It's curious to see Becky seems more understanding as an outsider than Joy as she probably studied about Asian cultures

Please submit this movie for Oscar 2023
The Part 1 in this movie is basically just meme all over the place. For those who have not yet watch this movie, be prepared. This movie will not have mercy in making you laugh until the end. Probably one of the best action-comedy i've seen so far. When i watch this movie in cinema, all people were laughing and throw up all over the place.
i’m so confused
Oaui bon, on dirait un film qui aurait pu passer sur Arte, ça peut être sympa mais j'attendais autre chose vis à vis de A24.
I am dreaming of a Doctor Strange 2 with plot like this and not some Scarlet Witch trash madness
How does this make me wanna go watch this?
Release VOD in the UK you cowards
It’s still playing in cinemas. I just went for my second viewing.
@@oscarbetts6485 But I'd have to leave my house and who wants to do that?
Quantum entanglement.
Looks intriguing, reminds me of a less vulgar version of my life.
Sci Fi 😫😫😊
Top gun maverick The best movie for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😂
If this is the exciting movie everyone says it is, then this clip is not really representative
The "juicy" parts come in a bit later so ye kinda (i personally still really like this scene tho).
It's really hard to show much of this movie without spoiling a lot of wonderful surprises. This is the kind of movie that's a real treat to go into blind.
It’s barely the beginning what do you expect
Espero verla pronto.
I am Asian, I live in Asia and this is my honest review. My first movie review.
In 2022, AMPAS (the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences) made Janet Yang their new president. A Chinese-American woman with big pull in the Asian cinema market.
In discussion with the thirty (30) member executive committee of AMPAS, she decided to have a big Asian diversity year for AMPAS at the 2023 Oscars. Yes folks, it is these thirty people who basically decide who will get Oscar nominations.
They searched and found one American made movie with a large Asian cast, a movie called ‘Everything, Everywhere, All At Once;. They immediately jumped on it and nominated it for a record eleven Academy Awards. Basically everyone in the film, (except the janitor) is nominated. All nominations are solely to push this Asian affirmative action agenda. In addition, AMPAS (and Hollywood) are desperately trying push the gay/lesbian lifestyle onto Asian families. I promise you that this will never work and will backfire drastically.
The Cast:
Michelle Yeoh - a 60 year old Malaysian actress who was in the movie ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ back in 1999 and since then has done almost nothing. She is essentially being handed an Academy Award this year.
Ke Huy Quan - A Vietnamese-American who was in one movie about 35 years ago, back in this disaster. He has been given virtually every award under the sun for this role.
Stephanie Hsu - A Chinese-American in her first movie, plays the role of an overweight lesbian and for it has been handed every award under the sun.
Jamie Lee Curtis - remember her from ‘Trading Places’ and ‘A Fish Called Wanda’ etc? Well she plays the role of an overweight lesbian and has received every nomination under the sun.
None of the above four do anything in the film that is deserving of recognition. Nothing.
The Film:
A thoroughly confusing, badly acted, terribly scripted set of scenes, that make absolutely no sense whatsoever. The movie is like watching a video game that you can’t follow.
It is basically about an Asian couple and their lesbian daughter, who work in a dry cleaning store and . . . there is some martial arts . . . and well, that is about it. Oh yeah there is some martial arts again.
The movie was the worst I have ever seen with an Asian cast and to be honest it is actually quite insulting that AMPAS would choose this garbage to disingenuously praise Asians. We are not that stupid and we are also not that desperate.
For those of you who are interested in Asian movies and Asian culture, here are a few great movies I recommend:
Not One Less (1999), China
Lust, Caution (2007), China
Audition (1999), Japan
Three Idiots (2009), India
There are many others, but sadly EEAAO is not one of them.
In conclusion, I just want to say that this was a tragic case of affirmative action gone wrong. Asians make great films in Asia, but putting them in some ridiculous Hollywood nonsense, giving them one thousand awards and fake praise all over the internet is not the way to open doors of opportunity for anyone. It just causes embarrassment for us, resentment for others and makes us Asians look like we are a charity case. Which we definitely are not.
What a waste of time
No speak a English
A crazy movie and Michelle character was annoying..
To be honest, one of worst movies I have ever watched in my life
Lol how so? Just too much happening or did you never get into it?
Weird movie.
You must be a boring person
@@boomboom1139 No it's weird but in such a good way
@@pixiedustcommentary4421 I agree and it definitely does that on purpose but they said it in what seems like a close minded and negative way. Ppl ofc have their opinions but it still doesn’t change the fact it’s a great well written movie. 😙
This movie is a SCAM !!!!!! 7 Oscars , what a joke !!!!!!! I love so much Michelle Yeah but his prestation isn't amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!
I hated this movie so much. It was pretentious garbage, packaged in pretty colours. Bad action which didn't matter, dumb standard optimistic nihilism message, cringe and boring scenes, stiff acting, horribly uncharismatic characters, etc.
Or you just got poor taste lol
Welp I didn't see any of what you just described. Daniels nailed every aspect of this movie.
movie was bad in my opinion, very corny
your opinion doesn't matter
it does to you because you felt like you had to reply ;)
Movie was leagues better than Dr. Strange
You missed the point then. Looking into the corniness of life was the point. Don’t give out your opinions on movies lmao
Very Overrated movie. I thought it was ok at best. It's the new empires Clothes. Doctor Strange 2 was better
Man hell no this movie was way better than Dr. Strange
😂😂😂😂
Doctor strange was so bad compared to this
@@boomboom1139 Doctor Strange made sense. This was just choppy stoner nonsense that everyone feels pressured to say it is amazing. The movie gave me no reason to care for any of the characters. It's the Empire's new clothes
@@Gavin48 doctor strange is too safe and barely seems to try much with the multiverse. It’s boring mainstream garbage that doesn’t try to do anything exciting or have something meaningful to say.
literally most boring movie of the past decade.
struggling family business so takes mad drugs and trips in the divorce office.
thats it. oh and 50 min of crappy fight scenes.
save yourself the time and dont get trolled by your "friends" into watching this
