Oh my goodness. I'm blown away by the best craft tutorial I think I have ever watched on UA-cam. Love the fact that there isn't distracting music being played in the background, and that instructions are nicely laid out step-by-step. Beautiful card you made! Thank you so much for sharing this excellent tutorial! Cheers!
Cheers to you, too, Kellie! And THANKS so much for your lovely comment!! I really appreciate it & am very pleased you enjoyed this tutorial! Thanks again & have a great day! :)
This is a great little card! I've made larger cards in a box, and can't wait to try making one this small! Thanks for your tutorial! Cheers! ~Janet in Canada
I love this card I've been looking and looking for just the right instructions to back a pop up box card and these go way beyond anything on youtube or elsewhere thanks so much. I'll be back to see what else you have been up too. Thanks so much.
Just when I thought you could not out do the Birthday Folio, you knock this one out of the park! I love love love this and it's perfect. I recently downloaded a circus themed paper that would be ideal for this amazing project! I can't wait to get started! Ty Ty Ty..hugs
OMG!! Creative minds think alike! I'm currently working on a circus-themed Collection Folio!! It's so fun! I'm using a paper pad … didn't think to check for digital designs. Great idea! Have fun creating your Card In A Box, Patricia! I just know it'll be totally fab!! :)
Well been racking my brain on what kind of card to make my granddaughter who is turning 12. Well I just got my order of Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Paper & I thought this card in a box would be so darling made from the paper. I think I'll do the inside pop up part with the paper that has all the roses all over it. I love to fussy cut. I love miniatures & so does my granddaughter. So thanks so much for doing the tutorial & for down sizing this great card in a box. Thanks! )) HUGS (( Linda
You're welcome, Diane! So nice of you to say! I'm very pleased you enjoyed this project! I know you'll have fun creating these boxes! THANKS for writing & have a fun day! :)
That is so cool. This would make the perfect get well card. And wouldn't be in the way in the hospitals. Thanks so much for sharing and explaining so well....Bobbie
Hi, Bobbie! Always great to see you! I must say, if there was a group of "standard" cards near someone's hospital bed, every visitor would zoom in on this itty bitty box! It's just so eye-catching & stinkin' cute!! So I completely agree, this would make a really sweet get well card. THANKS for writing ... I really appreciate it! Have a great day! :)
You've been watching all afternoon??!! You poor thing … er, I mean THANKS so much!! LOL! I'm happy you enjoyed this project, Pam! And I truly appreciate you watching & taking the time to write such a lovely comment. Thanks again & have a wonderful day! :)
Crafting time this weekend sounds EXCELLENT, Susan! Have fun with whatever project you work on!! Thanks for stopping by … it's always a pleasure to see you! :)
Hold on, Elaine … I'm just letting your employer know that you're busy watching UA-cam videos instead of working!! Hope you're not an air traffic controller or anything like that!! Now, what were you saying??? LOL!!! :)
This is sooooo cute! I made one by backing up/stopping/pausing your video. Took awhile to do it that way, but it turned out perfect. Any chance you have (or will be making?) a pdf file of the instructions? You were ingenious to figure out how to assemble the popup decorations while the box is still flat. I REALLY like this! Thanks for posting.
Wow! how cool is that! I have played around with this card in a box ...haven't completed one yet but now I really want to try this a note card...I think this is just so supper cool! - tfs
Wow!! that was the best silent tutorial I have ever seen very well thought out and so easy to understand. I will have to try this one out added to my likes I am very glad I happened onto your channel. take care Mary Katherine from Canada
Hi there, Mary Katherine! Welcome to the PC45 channel … it's great to see you! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this little card & will give it a go! For inspiration, check out the fab 3" x 3" Card In A Box created by Patricia Trevino (Circus Themed ATC for Chitown Traci). It's awesome! Thanks for watching & taking the time to write such a nice note. Have a great day! :)
Hi there! That's so very nice of you to say!! I'm thrilled you're enjoying the videos & truly appreciate you subscribing! THANKS so much for stopping by & taking the time to write such a lovely comment! Have a wonderful day! :)
What a cute little box/card that you created! Can you send some of those creative juices my way? ;-). Love all your creations/videos! It's always amazing to see what you make. I first saw this box of yours featured in an email that came from Scrapadabadoo's Facebook site. That is wonderful that they posted your video so others might find your site. I think it was Patti that mentioned your site to me a year ago. I certainly have enjoyed following you! Thank you for sharing!
Hello, Diane! THANK YOU for your lovely comment! I truly appreciate all your kind words. It's very cool about Scrapadabadoo … thanks for mentioning it! And I'm not a bit surprised that you found this channel through Patti … she is so gracious & sweet!! Patti has sent many friends my way. I'm always honored & humbled each time, too. Take care & thanks again! :)
Wow! You're more than welcome, Paula! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this project & will give it a go! Thanks for writing such a nice comment … have a great day! :)
Wow. You make this complicated process look simple... this is a super example of an instructional video. Would you share your video-making process at some point (yes, a video about making your videos!)? I am very curious about your camera setup, your preparation of the step-by-step illustrative pieces, your editing software, the whole process... I dabble in paper crafts, but in my real life I'm a technical writer, and your videos really appeal to my inner geek!
Well hello, fellow geek! LOL! THANK YOU very much for your super nice comment! It means a lot & is much appreciated!! A process video? Hmmm … between Photoshop & iMovie, there really isn't a whole lot to show. The videos are basically slide shows with captions. Easy peasy! And they take forever … what with Sock Monkey stopping frequently to have a snack or take a nap! That would be pretty boring to watch! :)
Oh, you're very welcome! So pleased you enjoyed this little version … LOL! And it's great to hear you'll be giving it a go! Thanks so much! Take care & have a wonderful day! :)
I'm a few month's late but wondering how much postage you put on the envelope. I love your teaching style and am always excited to find a new video. Thank you for your work.
You're welcome, Monique! So nice of you to comment! I'm very pleased you enjoyed this project & hope you give it a go! Thanks for writing … have a great day! :)
