    Let's see:
    -No shaky cam
-Clear and creative choreography that displays character
-Scenes that keep emotional engagement and tension without ruining it with a joke
-Great effects such as that slicing the fly effect
-Provides a good twist on what seems to be a straight forward story

Good choreography, nice amount of action. Establishes he's a bad ass from the time this short film starts, then the antagonist bests him in seconds with one hand. That was actually my favorite part. Establishes that he's a real threat. I would definitely watch this movie over any movie that Hollyweird produces. I'm black from the U.S. and I've been watching martial arts movies for over 45 years. This is a must watch.
My only criticism as a moviegoer is the excessive use of lens flares. But, it's not a big deal, just a personal thing. Wouldn't stop me from watching this at all. Great job. 😁

I TOLD THEM THAT IF THEY USED CLASSIC HONG KONG SOUND EFFECTS,
THEIR MOVIES WOULD BE PERFECT !

Does anyone notice that this is essentially a "Silent Movie" without being silent. Another way to look at it is that this is a music video because there's no dialogue but just visuals to the sound score. Simply Brilliant. I'm scared that Hollywood is going to take Loukman away from us and make him an offer he can't refuse. I think he is as good as Ryan Coogler the Black Panther Director.

You give the world something new, authentic, appealing and entertaining, you are not only selling your content, you are introducing your unique culture to the world. If they fall in love with it, they will want to come and visit your country, and experience it themselves. There goes your tourism skyrocketing, and many other sectors.
Embracing our cultures and advertising them to the world is one of the most powerful things we can do for our continent.
Look at what Afro Beats is doing for Nigeria. Look at what the dance culture is doing for South Africa.

Looks like a bunch of gymnasts and parkour 😂😂😂. The fighting didn't look remotely real, nobody looks like they're actually even CLOSE to getting hit😂😂😂. The editing and cuts are childish😂😂😂. They try to look like an American movie(the African John wick and inspired by kill Bill) but fail miserably... It's funny you try to trash what you're trying to emulate😂😂😂. I get it though.... It's African made so you must show pride and praise for it no matter how bad😂😂😂. Hey maybe in about 30yrs Africans will make good movies and tv shows... But as of now you're still in the infancy stage of multimedia so rather than trashing what inspired you... Maybe take some cues and make better content.

This was pretty cool! The camera work, lighting, and the actors were top notch. The main character has a cinematic everyman face. The rain was a nice touch. Nice homage to Asian cinema. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see your first feature film.

This is really great content. We need more of this in Africa. Perfect visuals and creativity like this combined with great story writers can give the African movie industry it's place in the world. Keep the good work. I've always loved movies and wondered where Africa lies in all of it. This is the start we need.

I must say, everything in this short scene is impressive and well-executed. It truly blew my mind to witness the advancements in cameras and overall production quality. As a Ghanaian, I find this video work to be a fantastic display of artistry, particularly the top-notch music and sound. The action was also well done.
However, I have a minor concern regarding the incorporation of Asian and Western fighting styles, clothing, and music into our African context. It somewhat diminishes the originality and fails to align with our way of life. In my opinion, it would be more authentic if we showcased our own fighting techniques, traditional clothing, and music in our scenes. By doing so, we can create a truly African experience that celebrates our unique culture, setting ourselves apart and establishing a fresh approach to filmmaking.

I agree with your last paragraph. i would also include that the similarities ( as seen from the title ) also doesn't match. The short movie is styled after chinese kung fu movies yet the title alludes a similarity to John Wick.

I respect your take Dion but differ slightly from your thoughts on the cultural aspect. The fact that the movie is acted by predominantly black does not mean that it was intent on displaying or promoting culture. That may be the wish of many, but it may be further from the Producers' intent.
People all over the world embrace cross-cultural sports and other combat activities which makes it normal to present a film using any of them thematically. Jiujitsu, karate, Judo, kungfu, wrestling, etc are traceable to certain countries historically, yet they are widely adopted by any and every culture across the globe. So on that one hand alone, I feel there should be creative liberty for directors and produce of this particular Short, to decide to tell their story using Kungfu adaptations. One has to always think broadly, that not everything must be culture driven. Of course, if the intent of the film or what it overtly suggests, is to portray culture, then yes it would be appropriate to expect a good dose of appropriate culture (dressing, mannerisms, and so) injected into the film.
For me, this is a masterpiece on many levels - unreserved kudos to the entire crew. I can't count how many times I have watched this short - it deserves an award!!

@dionemmanuel7505 we (the cool Asians) have never minded people from outside Asia borrowing our many diverse cultures. We love to share; there’s too much good stuff: martial arts, self enlightenment, and food to name 3 big ones. I have personally experienced myself though some complaints about Asians “appropriating” Hip Hop back in the early 2000s. I simply replied with, “You’re welcome that Bruce worked with Jim in the 70s” and also mentioned “Blade (Wesley Snipes’ best movie).” It just took the Asians a few more decades to be open to a new, young culture, but we definitely love Hip Hop.
@titoscau5350 to our best knowledge, we believe modern humans originated from Africa. But like things from the distant past, they are left there and may not represent current time. Also there was a discovery that is in debate now about modern human remains older than any human fossil in Africa that was recently found in Europe (oh no, not that again). I urge you to be very careful with this whole idea of “humans came from MY country so that makes us superior” because I have seen it cause reverse racism (like that lady who got kicked off the plane recently). Original (White) racism and reverse racism are all still racism. They don’t lead to a good place, but harmony and respect for differences always do. Share food and traditions and see we are “same but different”.
