As someone who worked for Microsoft support I can tell you this is EXACTLY how it works, though to be fair, getting laid off was the best thing that every happened to me xD
Oh yeah I was in the same boat, it wasn't Microsoft but one of the other big tech companies. The company I had been with for 7 years got acquired and it got picked apart till there was nobody left. In the end the clients were left a fraction of the service they once had. It really sucked because I enjoyed working there.
@@Coopertom Yea, I was technically a outsourced company for Microsoft for 7 years also, but we got bought out by a company Microsoft didn't really like and stuff went down hill till Microsoft decided to not renew and that killed most of the business at our site in the U.S. Everything went overseas at that point, but whatever, I got a free degree through the trade act because of it.
Impossible activision would never keep an employee for more then a year
they kept bobby kotick :P
Ah, back in the Atari 2600 days, the Activision Logo had a nice rainbow on its end. Great times.

I wish the poor guy luck. Maybe he'll be hired by Electronic Arts to work on the sequel to M.U.L.E.
"My Windows 93 is working tubulaaaar, thank you dude."

When he says "i've been here 37 years" i like to think he litterally means here, at this desk, hasn't gone home, hasn't moved since 1985.
