All things considered, Bogus is not a Whistler. However, Boise's mountain bike scene is extremely strong. You can literally ride five minutes from Boise and access hundreds of miles of singletrack.
Boise is an awesome town. If you like beer, Barbarian Brewing is as good as it gets. The drive up to Bogus is fun if you don't get stuck behind someone slow (which you probably will). Also the Eagle Bike Park in Boise is one of the better town bike parks I've ridden with some insanely big drops for a free bike park. I always make a pit stop on my way to BC (from CO) to ride the Eagle Bike Park.
Thanks very much Chris! We're gonna do our best to get a Season 2 up and running next summer. But, stay tuned for 3 more episodes this season.

Dang, that was a perfect review and you guys have the best hair cuts ever. To ride good you gotta feel good, to feel good you gotta look good and these guys are full spectrum!
I feel the same way about where i live. Dont come here, its about the same. Keep driving. Although Kelly Smith I'd be cool with you driving through and having a beer. :) I'd do the same there. Seriously though, sounds like chill place. I might make a pass through there and check it out. Not too long though so i dont annoy the piss out of the locals.
If you're traveling to the area and don't want the hassle of traveling with your bike, the shop I work for, Idaho Mountain Touring rents Trek and Ibis carbon right downtown. Covid screwed that up in 2020, so call ahead to see if we're renting in '21. The new trails they built on Bogus in '20 are rad and really open the place up, with many more trails and improvements planned over the next several years. Come back and check it out again soon! 🤘
Nice honest review! It sounds like bogus is a good place to get away from a lot of people, hype, and commercial BS. No profit means you're not getting ripped off!
Maybe you don’t spend a full week at Bogus Basin, but there’s a lot of negative tones in this video. The fact is that if you come to the Boise area for a week of mountain biking specifically, to want to stay at the same park is a waste of time anyway, when you can make day trips to bike in McCall, Cascade, or Sun Valley, and get a more full experience than you will most places in the world.
Go to Highlands and Burke, best parks on the east and not far from each other.? 9 though if nightlife is your thing. Also Kingdom trails shares some Burke mtn trails. Hit it up!?
You guys didn’t explore at all. Boise is becoming D-place to be for MTB and all outdoor activities. We are talking about 40 to 90min drives to some of the best trails. Don’t listen to this guys. Visit Camel back, McCall, Idaho City, Stanley and more. You’ll never leave this place again!
Trails are not maintained very well. Ratings are not accurate for trail difficulty. Food is disappointing. Beers are ridiculously expensive as is the food. It full. Stay home.
They just got a new quad lift, so they are going to do a giant bike park project, and completely fill the mountain with trails, it’s gonna be so rad
Since this video has been made, Bogus got a new high speed quad and built a whole bike park under it
Thank you for the update. I was curious about this being 3y old

Eagle bike park in Boise? What Boise does not encompass all of Idaho
Barbarian is a beer drinkers heaven imo.
@@lucasbright3331Let’s be fair, anyone not from Idaho usually calls it Boise. 😂
Please keep this review tour going...Loam Wolf crew killin it!!!!! So many more bike parks to hit up...keep up the amazing work, thank you.

Maybe you can get a date with them :-)
@@biketothetop Uh yeah, a date to go pop wheelies and stuff...
Hahaha.
Yep. The whole area is less than a 6.5. No need to come here. Terrible place to live. Keep on driving.
yeah california is way better
you shold just stay there
Is that the world famous Idaho hospitality talking? Don't worry there's only about 20 other bike parks/areas I'd rather visit ..

@@Gehajjs62727 he was being sarcastic because of all the Californians moving to idaho

Bogus is one of my favorite places in Idaho

Ya if you dont live in idaho dont limit to just bogus there are many other great small parks around too
You guys have the best jobs ever!
Did you scope out the Boise Bike Park Slopestyle park and Eagle Bike Park too both within 15 min of downtown?
Quote unquote village? I’ve never heard anyone call it a village, it’s just “the lodge”
Love this review format
Nice!
@@TheLoamWolf picking my way through every review. 4 more to go lol. Keep it coming 💪
You guys should've went to Silver Mountain. Its definitely the best bike park in Washington Oregon and Idaho.
you guys should make a trip back. lots of sweet new trails up at bogus!
We've been hearing that.

Do you guys have any trail reviews in the McCall area?
No not yet we don't.
Come back up!! We just built 6 new gravity focused trails!
Still a snoozer
Would you guys give it a 7 if they put a Chick-fil-A up there?

We’ve been and made a few videos there actually!

Ya i know they barely went anywhere. And didnt explore everything idaho has to offer

That's a pretty generous rating. Pretty boring trails. Very boring resort.
Its noise not boze
