A LEFT HANDED GIRL playing the HELL out of Beat It and she makes it look easy!!! Eddie Van Halen would be soo proud of you and we are too!! You go girl!!
okay this was recommended to me after watching a dude with a bicep the size of a forklift do master of puppets and terrified me. I have spent days in fear that this man would beat me to with with...my own self. I can sleep now. Thank you.

Before the internet I had no clue how many amazing musicians were actually out there. The record companies must've been major gatekeepers in my day and I was just completely unaware. Every day I'm floored at the amount of people I come across.. and that's just on UA-cam. I think it's possible consciousness is being pushed along by technology as much as it's being hindered by it. Some call it a new technological dark age, but maybe things will shift in a better direction. Keep rockin. 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
i could say its easier to learn how to play an instrument nowadays primarily because the information is just a click away compared to 30 years ago when it was harder to access stuff for learning
Tjat’s why it drives me crazy when people say the quality of musicianship has declined. There are more great musicians in the world today than there have ever been.
@@StacheBigote Yeah, there're plenty of great musicians out there. I can sort of understand what the whiners might be getting at though. Although the accessibility of the technology has allowed everyone the opportunity to make studio quality music, be it with the DAWs, plugins, interfaces, studio monitors etc, ; It doesn't necessarily mean people are making great music with it. Trent Reznor said something to that effect. I'm paraphrasing ; "The technology is available to everyone, but I don't hear many people doing anything good with it." ; People can be incredibly proficient at playing guitar, gluing synths and drums down to the grid in a DAW, mixing and mastering stuff, But conceptually, they might still be making uninteresting music. Now that we have the internet, we see EVERYONE, and hear EVERYONE, so of course we're going to see mostly bad music being made. That can be said of all music throughout the decades though. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, and let me tell you there was probably more bad music being made than good. 😂 I agree with you though, there's always great music to be heard. I'm happy that I get to hear people who probably wouldn't have had the platform back in the day. Genius has often been marginalized and ignored. It's more difficult to ignore these people today. At least I would hope. The way the internet has been choked lately with corporate censorship, I wonder how much longer that will last though.
You're confusing good instrumentalist with good musician. I'm not saying this girl ain't a good musician, but the fact is there are many amazing instrumentalists out there, but not necessarily good musicians. They play other people songs to perfection on a technical level, but ain't capable of coming up with nice melodies, harmonies, rhythm etc. People with good instrumentalism are common, but with good musicianship are quite rare
@@frankslade33If I'm not mistaken, as you pick the string with your picking hand you also mute it at the right point along the string so that you sound the harmonic of that string. Zak Wyldd of Ozzy Osbourne fame was another guitarist who was always amazing with pinch harmonics.
oml that was so incredible, wish I could be as awesome as u 😭 I play the trumpet myself but dude I could never compare to stuff like this. Ur amazing 🔥
I have been trying to play this solo since a while! I actually lost interest in guitar because I could not master this part of the song but damn seeing you do it makes me wanna believe I can do it as well! Well played, Lizzie!
top notch... damn, you nailed it. More vids please and more epic guitar!!! With Skevington as a surname, you sound like you're from my old town, Leicester in the UK where I lived in the late 80s... the name originated from around there, apparently.. had a pal with the same surname at school... used to call him Skevvy and my brother used to live on Skevington Avenue in Loughborough, near Loughborough hospital. LOL.
hey it looks doable, you actually make it look simpler than many others that looks subjectively 'harder' to me..😃 I think I'm going to learn your version😄... Would you mind sharing the tabs or maybe do a tutorial video, please? That would be great for me! 😀
