A leap back into photography after a few years out, this time with a difference
Before I lost my passion it was all about the mega pixels and sensor size, and I became all consumed with getting "the shot", instead of enjoying the location, the walk, the company, this time however its different, its about the adventure and going back to the beginning, relearning film in 35mm, 120mm medium format and 4x5 large format.
If you enjoy the great outdoors, then this is the channel for you, I offer free walk guides to suit most, photo/walk guide coffee table zines, limited addition photography prints, and photo books
Each print is limited to 50, and will be numbered and signed.

Touristy? More like different perspective! Sometimes its good to see the same thing in a different light. I love the hot dog stand shot for that reason. The way you captured this glowing beacon of food in theb night looks amazing. Great video!

Thanks AstroMechanic, I would love to go back and capture more day to day life, but I wanted to get the classics in my portfolio, but I always enjoy seeing what other people capture from classic locations 😁

Some really lovely compositions here and lovely halation.
The 800 tungsten cinema films always seem a bit cold in daylight, I’ve seen the 85b (orange/warming) filters recommended to combat that but haven’t tried it myself yet.

Thanks Always_anal0g, I will have to give a 85b a go, thanks for the tip 👍 I do love the halation it creates

Touristy is OK. Many good photographs have been taken of people being tourists. It is still real. Enjoyed the video.

Thanks Ted, I say touristy because at home I always try to avoid taking that type of shot, not that there is anything wrong with a touristy shot, but could not help it in NY, I would love to go back a few more times are get more involved in day to day life, it’s such an amazing place
