Absolutely great vid! I'm a big fan of Utada and a underlying theme with alot of her songs is loss. She definitely had a rough time in that she got divorced then lost her mother through suicide, then remarried and divorced again. In her last album it was really telling that her last divorce massively impacted her and I think it does set the tone lyrically for this song. She is an amazing artist and such a poet with some if her lyrics!
