No, that's a guy that pays someone to keep it clean. If that man turned one bolt or nut on that car I'd be shocked!! NO, turning the key doesn't count.
Smoke show.....1000ft-lbs at a jab is instant tire obliteration ..... definitely awesome, if only that gorgeous Chevelle was black, IMO, and it was mine, and someone else had to clean it 😅
I saw that one butterfly plate open on the supercharger with partial throttle; then Steve explained the throttle plate operation, (split shaft with progressive linkage - Extra innovative) . Thanks!!!
I always laugh when people think blower surge is a normal, cool part of a roots blower engine. Kyle showed in about 10 seconds on the laptop that blower surge is just a fuel tuning issue (rich to lean) that is easily corrected. Guys that drive around car shows with their cars surging crack me up…. 🤣🤣🤣. BTW, that progressive throttle linkage is genius for a street driven car.
Dude that shop dog is gorgeous and such a good boy (hoping it's a boy lol ) but reminds me of my English staff I had every race shop needs a shop dog❤❤❤ I worked in a muffler shop as a mechanic when I got mine and he used off cut offs as chew toys and had a mower catcher as his beloved kennel that is why i named him victa 😂😂😂
Hi Kyle. I just subscribed, and yes you came up first. Im glad Dewey is on your channel too. Hes cool. You should do a Dewey interview !😅 Cheers from New Zealand
I work for Dave Diehl at Auto Dynamix and I put the new converter in that car. Absolutely beautiful badass car. I was hoping you would make a video of it.
Hey, about what type of videos, how about what the channel description says. Lets see you and the homies tear it up!! Whether it's tearing up the drag strip, garage, or a plate of food with some laughs there's bound to be some good content!
Liked the vid. Nice to see some tuning on a more common combo. FYI,I'm prob about your old man's age, and get annoyed by music in vids. Unless of course, it's music that I like,LOL! Let's see some stuff on your FORD!
I'm surprised it ran so well after the small fireball at the 6min 51sec point, would've figured a new intake gasket would be in order, unless there was some spring loaded relief on there but still didn't look good. Who knows, maybe it resealed, I'm sure the juice will find the weak spot soon enough, it always does... :-)
Great job 👏 car is outstanding , the 69 is best year of the hot rod in all the cars after the early 70s gas wars kill the hp in the American sports car
Another happy motor. The amount of torque that motor is making between 900 and 1000 hp is so smooth. I'd stick with the 10lb pulley. He said it had a nitrous kit right? Sweet Working with nice parts is nice. Some pod-casters work with cluster-junk cars.
Kyle, you come up 3rd on a search...I subscribed...Ask Steve if he knows any history on 301 Mondello engines and there significance in engine development?
1076/1009 - for a 540 BB those are decent numbers for roots style supercharger, but I'm little surprised it wasn't closer to 1200+. I think the whipple style superchargers are more efficient and perhaps more tuneable. Of course we don't know the cam and valve train, which my guess is holding this engine back a bit.
Hi Kyle, appreciate the content. Very cool to see you going on your own journey in the performance world. Any plans for another Drag & Drive this summer?
You are the first unsponsored Kyle that pops up
That is one beautiful 69 Chevelle. Congrats to Jeremy.
Thats a beautiful beast 😍 well done Kyle great tune & teamwork with your dad.
Its so nice to see people like yourself act normal not trying to be someone your not. Stay cool
Very sweet car. you can tell he is proud of it, keeps it clean.

Jealous much? 😂
No I work on it myself unless I can't do it myself
Now thats a show and go machine
Smoke show.....1000ft-lbs at a jab is instant tire obliteration ..... definitely awesome, if only that gorgeous Chevelle was black, IMO, and it was mine, and someone else had to clean it 😅
Beautiful car. Reminds me of cruising hotrods in the 70s.
I saw that one butterfly plate open on the supercharger with partial throttle; then Steve explained the throttle plate operation, (split shaft with progressive linkage - Extra innovative) . Thanks!!!
Kyle,Steve, and Dewey, y'all rock! Hope y'all had a Happy 4th. Peace
Supervisor Dewey❤
1969 best looking Chevelle ever!
What about 68??
@@Scott-gc4pt What's the big difference between a 68 and 69?
I like 68 taillights

Wait, lean surge on a roots blower isn't cool?! 😎
I always laugh and say lean, rich, lean, rich...😂
Thinkin’ the progressive blades would be a leap on roots blown burnout cars…
@@markwise9868 what kills me is when people think it's the cam...
Carb vs FI though, bit easier to remove with a laptop
Nice job on the tuning.
Awesome car sounds good 👍...keep living the dream ✨️
❤Dewey ❤ watching his daddy❤❤
Happy 4th and tuning is cool keep up the Great Work TCOMITY
Yours is the top result when I searched.

No parking lot burnout? Steve licking the lense was the best part!
@@FastSS02 yeah sorry man, no doubt there will be more parking lot shredding in the future

@jacobgiesbrecht7806 they are champion. The rear are double beadlocks
Wow im behind 3vids,Good luck with channel..👍
I really like that you tuned out any Blower surge, in other words 'properly' 😊
Nothing wrong with blower surge, rich idle helps keep blower temps down when your stuck in traffic
Love your channel bro. Just like Dad. Keep up the good work
Here for it!
What a nice car. Sounds great.
I've never seen that progressive throttle linkage before. Pretty sweet!

Got that 4th digit, no point in leaning on it. Shweet butterfly linkages!
Great video, Kyle. I am looking forward to your OG BBC in your mustang video :)
Happy 4th July !!!
Kyle you diserve this subscribe. Nice Job.
New sub Kyle! I didn’t even know you had a channel. Thanks UA-cam

Beautiful car. You guys had me very nervous not using fender covers and laying tools on this chrome radiator cover. May want to improve on that.
Never thought I would get tongued by Steve Morris lmfao 🤪
Parking lot heat up should be mandatory Kyle 😉
Dewey made new friends lol beautiful car btw
Keeping it Classy typical SM style 👌
Sweet Car, good on the tune.
So what's up with all the glitter😂. Would have been nice to see How much more the nitrous would have added. Did he not want to try the kit?
More Dyno/Tuning videos!
1969 Chevelles are nice I'm a big fan of the 67 Chevelle anyway I think I had a model of a car just like that car as a kid
I love this video

It's almost like something with the dyno.
Hey Kyle, your camera guy seems pretty sharp....might wanna keep him around a while 😉

The final was 1137hp on a safe tune without nitrous that also has a gear vendors on it. It's making over 1400hp to the crank
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dewey 🤣🤣🤣🤣
NICE!

I’m from Michigan, and would like to be part of somethin big, let’s see what your dad will work with us on and let’s go for cleetus McFarlands title
Maybe SML stick shift would be legit, but I think the billet block might knock us out the stick shift class
Channel is awesome Kyle. Off subject but do you know what headlights those are? Look great.
Well done Kyle. Chip off the old Steve block.
Can we have more of Kyle on this and his thoughts? Just me being petty and more relatable being same age or close
Looked like it spit fire out the base of the blower. Air leak?
