Imagine if you are making out with someone and you ask them if they wanna take it further and they have to sit there and thinking about it for like five minutes they bring out a whiteboard and start drawing up the pros and cons of doing so
Now I'm just thinking about Batman going after people who litter. "I swear, I'll throw it in the trash next time!" "Swear to me!" "I just-" "WHERE IS IT?! WHERE IS THE REST OF YOUR GARBAGE!"
So here's what Telltale needs to do if they want to do a second season of Batman. -Give Cry an "early" copy of the game -Record his initial commentary -Add Robin to the game and use Cry's recorded commentary for his lines
I still like that you're given the option to change your statement after reading the prompter: "Oswald Cobblepot is highly qualified, great to replace me, and OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO DESTROY WAYNE ENTERPRISES AND ALL OF GOTHAM IS IN DANGER PANIIIIC!"
DreadisDead assuming you were replying to me, why are you saying I'm dumb? I never said they aren't married, I just added that the Voice actor for Bruce is their close friend.
Cryoatic plays the Telltale games on a more interesting way. I find it highly more entertaining than other Telltale gaming youtube channels. Thank you Cry.
I like watching him play story games, over other youtube gamers, because 1: he doesn't talk over the dialog, so you can enjoy the story and 2: he doesn't scream and overreact to things, in a lame attempt to be funny. I like his calm attitude
I became suspicious of Vale when she sent Batman to the warehouse and the leader of the Children of Arkham knew he was there. That immediately pegged her as a Child of Arkham, but I never thought she would be the leader! Well done Telltale!!!
What Cry is saying in the end is so true... Whmm... As soon as we put Bruce Wayne in the asylum, Batman is nowhere to be seen must be a coincidence." Same with Superman "Hey doesn't that reporter look a lot like Superman?" "Nahh. Superman doesn't wear glasses and he has a totally different hairdo"
I figure the teleprompter bit wasn't on the ending screen because it ultimately doesn't matter (as drugged-up Bruce immediately makes it a PR disaster regardless).
I find it really interesting how this game goes against things that we have come to expect from every Batman adaptation. You assume from the start that Bruce's parents were pillars of the community. Nope, they were connected to the mob! You see a masked villain cooking up fear toxin and immediately think it's Scarecrow. Nope, it's usually completely unimportant background character Vicki Vale!
I didn't expect her to be Lady Arkham, but I actually did call her being in with the Children of Arkham at least. Mainly because her getting a story with the head of the CoA seemed a bit too convenient. Plus in Episode 2, Oswald told her "You know what to do" when she had the drugs in hand. It just clicked in my mind and I wasn't far off.
Well this is late but I got an OMG moment when the gazette headline was shown then I remembered the leader having 'thin' arms just as cry said which gave me the idea that the leader more resembles a female. Those suspicions were also justified when she decided to meet up to Cobblepot Park and when she suddenly switched sides with the vigilantes. It was impressive how these motherfvckers freaking give as blatant hints and freaking most including me did not care about them just until this video.
**SPOILERS** So...just to clarify, she figured out he was batman after seeing the cat scratch in episode 1, and so she acted as an "informant" to batman to lead him into her trap. Still doesn't explain where a reporter found the funds and influence to do this, where the technology came from, and what her motivation for doing all this is. The comics certainly don't have any answers. Anyone got a guess?
Rabano Doom Ignore asshole McGee here. I think she got the tech the same way they got the Truth Chemicals; they stole them. And also, her motivation is clearly stated in the first episode; "Some reporters are old fashioned. I still want the truth."
Rabano Doom Maybe Telltale is doing it for the twist? I just wanna know how a reporter learned to fight well enough to go toetotoe with Batman. Also that was really dumb of her to send Batman their ahead of them when he could easily disrupt their plans. Very poor trap too bringing in Catwoman.
Rabano Doom I went to the wiki to check out her article and it's stated that one of her relatives might have been sent to Arkham Asylum even though they were innocent and she's angry about that or something?? I'm not sure how true the wiki is though, so we'll just have to wait and see.
Man. I was gambling that Oswald's mom was the big bad guy. Vicki Vale is such a wild suspect. This universe rocks. It strays so far from the conventional story it feels like a whole new thing. It's brilliant. I am loving this series so far
"They're against corruption - something you said you're also against" They shot up a mayoral debate, how could anyone support them at that point ?! Also the way Bruce gets revealed in Selina's apartment is hilarious
Like following the script and then being whoops drugged off off it, despite that bruce should have the common sense to run the second he feels the venom.
What I'd *hope* is that if you're nice in the press conference, people buy the idea that you were drugged, whereas if you pointed the finger at Cobblepot or slammed the Board, no-one buys it and Wayne's life gets harder.
smartalec2001 Doubt it. Its telltale. Only the very minor things change. One random useless character might like what you did but will probably die immediately after so it wont affect the linear plot.
most of the choices are just superficial, the only reason I don't buy their games hardly anything you do matters and somtime the script goes totaly against what you choice
For Superman it's because his glasses changes the colour of his eyes and he kind of bows his back so he doesn't look as tall as Superman. Like always, comic book logic!
technically it's just 1940 design flaws but in this age i thought it was some bullshit hypnosis thing? (not a superhero geek, all i know is what my nerd friend tells me)
When Bruce just stands there in undewear, I thought 'jfc what kind of monster dong-' and then Cry just commented on that as well. :'D But so far, I reaaaally enjoy this series. I didn't see the thing with Vicki coming at all. I didn't trust her, but woahh.
Well that was unexpected. But if you think about it, she is always there near the crime scene far earlier than other reporters. Like that one time when the cop was drugged, she was there in the building. Or in the debate, she was the only hostage the bad guys did not attempted to kill.
ChaoticLaw It's probably the same voice actor. I know he tends to do a lot of voices for goons and what not. I think he voiced some goons in Arkham City.
CRY! To answer your question, I remained platonic with Selina because I felt badly about Harvey. What happens is, you do not have sex, remain friends, and you stay on the couch until the morning. That's it. However it is really awkward in the morning because she doesn't tell you that you can have the bagels so you kind of just...rummage around through the apartment and eventually the fridge with no prompting from Selina lmao. It took me so long to get to the scene where Harvey comes in because it's triggered by taking the bagels and I didn't want to because I felt rude going through the fridge without her permission ahahah.
I think no one figures out Superman's disguise (and in this story the connection between Batman and Bruce) cos it's just like too ridiculous to imagine someone like Clark Kent, this nerd, could be fucking superman. Or fancy rich boy Bruce spends his nights dressing as a bat and fucking up criminals.
really though theyre making the penguin be the joker when you think about it people losing their inhibitions and giving in to the chaos of their unrestrained impulses is HIS thing Penguin is just a crime lord
Captain Princess ye but like, that's why he's just a figurehead for COA and not the leader He gets Wayne enterprises and all the land, money, respect and retribution that goes with it, which is totally his MO
Ayla Wilkinson still Im js this whole children of arkham thing is a joker thing, realistically penguin wouldnt even be involved at all, his quest for waynecorp would really be completely unrelated
Captain Princess tbh I think children of arkham is actually more of a scarecrow thing. Mind altering drugs, creepy rhetoric etc. I think if the penguin saw something like this going down (or was approached more than likely) and was offered a lot of power and revenge he'd probably swing on board and use it to his advantage bc he's an opportunistic scoundrel and whatnot. Although I think we'll find out a lot more in the coming episode.
Personally I don't mind, it's like waiting a year for a movie sequel, except the episodes come out more frequently than movies. That's why I just can't understand why people complain. They can wait an entire year for a sequel, or another movie for a different superhero to come out, but not ~3-4 months for an episode that's roughly the same length of a movie. That's all these really are. Short to full-length films that allow you to make choices every so often cause really, who's playing these for the gameplay? But yea, I do dislike that Tell Tale started a trend in this and some developers think this is okay for their game when it's really not the type of game that should be episodic.
that realization that in real life Harvey (Travis Willingham) and selina (Laura bailey) are married and bruce(troy baker) is a friend, awkward how troy and laura always have character romance, and Travis is the other guy i suppose.
I think everyone suspected that would happen its a common thing in stories boyfriend other love interest always ALWAYS shows up. (Still that standing in the doorway when the cat runs bit was completely stupid just literally take 2 steps to the left or right)
It's so funny how Cry can't see some things that are right in front of him in a game, like a key or some shit, but a clipping texture!!! It can be just 1/2 a millimetre by 1 but he sees it from a mile away, seriously cx XD
The sad thing is, that after each episode, you get more and more hyped for the next one. I think I'm going to implode if it keeps on going like this :(
OH MAH G-ZUS. I don't understand what was going on with half the things you said in this video. I WAS SO ON EDGE WITH HOW BLUNT YOU ARE. o ~ O I LOVE THIS PLAYTHROUGH THOUGH. You really good at this, breadslice. Good on ya.
dude, the guy who plays superman in the movies walked around with a superman shirt ON THE RELEASE DAY OF DAWN OF JUSTICE, NEXT TO A POSTER OF DAWN OF JUSTICE and nobody recognised him
Oh man. Idk if this counts as cinematography, but it's pretty smart. I'm at the scene in Harvey's office, and whenever he starts to get aggressive the camera stays on his scarred side. I love it
I think that there is an artificial eyelid that follows whenever he blinks. Also I think the white light is a screen that is lit on both sides that he can look through and also have information displayed on it. This would kind of explain the purple eye mode and the blinking, because having his actual eyeballs lit up would most likely be excruciatingly painful.
This series is shaping up to be something really good. The choices are.. tough sometimes. And Batman to me has always been about what to you is the right choice.
I KNEW Vicki was going to be the mysterious guy. Because A) they always throw a female as the plot twist, B) they always chose the closest and nicest, most neutral person as the bad guy, and C) the foreshadowing revealed it all. But maybe it's just because I know a lot about storytelling. I was actually hoping it would be Alfred or something really ridiculous.
OKAY SAY IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO KEPT PAUSING THE VIDEO ATTHE BATMAN AND CATWOMAN KISSING HUGGING WHATEVER THINGY! I MEAN COME OOOOON DONT GIVE ME THESE HEARTATTACKS
Robert Ellis maybe because telltale has to actually think and put proper quality into each episode instead of shitting out shitty outcomes and dumbass dialogue and linear storyline despite your choices. Plus money for business :b
HAY
Cryaotic Hay! Ready for the walking dead season 3?
oh hi
Cryaotic The editing stream was amazing! Thank for the goodness Cry
Heyo
Hi ^^
Imagine if you are making out with someone and you ask them if they wanna take it further and they have to sit there and thinking about it for like five minutes they bring out a whiteboard and start drawing up the pros and cons of doing so
ethan alan Wait, people don't do that?
Guess that's why so many teen pregnancies happen.
This just in: if your best friend is beginning to show signs of mental illness, its A-OK to sleep with his girlfriend.
Noted. If it's on the internet it's true.
Seems legit.
*****
They certainly seemed to be.
+Zechariah Melese Harvey thought they were, so it's still more than a bit messed up to screw over your best friend like that.
i don't get why so many want it to be bat and cat, i mean, bat is a LONER any version of Batman that have a girlfriend i wrong.
VICKI VALE IS THE ORIGAMI KILLER. WHAT A TWIST.
AND CATWOMAN IS THE INDIGO CHILD AND ALFRED IS THE BEYOND TWO SOUL.
BUT WHO IS THE NOMAD SOUL?
AzureONI
The batmobile.
MrLego3160
Nono, the Batmobile's the slider.
Mr. Lowell
The Oregano killer?
Now I'm just thinking about Batman going after people who litter. "I swear, I'll throw it in the trash next time!" "Swear to me!" "I just-" "WHERE IS IT?! WHERE IS THE REST OF YOUR GARBAGE!"
Jerek Headrick Now imagining him on Earth Day and recycling
Jerek Headrick lurking in parks, setting sensors on the sidewalks and such, waiting....watching....those dirty criminals and their bubblegum wrappers.
Jerek Headrick Just the dark and gritty reboot Capitan Planet needs.
I just love how Cry is super-protective with harvey and his psyche, but just drops it at the first prospect of sex.
Didnt age will did it
@@arielbenitez98 can’t believe people including even come back here, crazy how you get a new perspective and look into his psyche(cry’s)
@@arielbenitez98lmao
So here's what Telltale needs to do if they want to do a second season of Batman.
-Give Cry an "early" copy of the game

Thumb it up!
John Lindner that's brilliant
John Lindner This is a beautiful idea.
Robin : "Your junk is huge!"
Bruce : ...
WOOO
I still like that you're given the option to change your statement after reading the prompter: "Oswald Cobblepot is highly qualified, great to replace me, and OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO DESTROY WAYNE ENTERPRISES AND ALL OF GOTHAM IS IN DANGER PANIIIIC!"
guess you could say that, in the next episode, Bruce's gonna have a *bat* time.
I joke to hide my pain.
You should see a therapist, Harv.
get out.
Oh, you're such a joker!
I was wondering when the Joker was going to involved in this
I love all of you
dent just sees a grapple gun on the table and ignores it
*twoface sees a purple block he doesnt recognize.
Doesn't seem like anything
good Harvey: WTF is that and why is it here??
bad Harvey: YOU ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS! MORE FIGHTING!
''Oh my gawd! She's fucking Bruce AND Batman!!!''
I'm dead inside thank you. (from laughing so hard)
It's funny because the voice actors for Selina and Harvey are married in real life.
elvyralani and the Voice actor for Bruce is their close friend...
man you dumb. Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey Are married. Best voice actress ever btw
DreadisDead assuming you were replying to me, why are you saying I'm dumb? I never said they aren't married, I just added that the Voice actor for Bruce is their close friend.
"So when's Harvey coming?"
...probably after you do.
Bruce didn't see it coming either XD
Cryoatic plays the Telltale games on a more interesting way. I find it highly more entertaining than other Telltale gaming youtube channels. Thank you Cry.

how you manage to find clipping textures in every single game you play is beyond me, cry

I wonder how games like this turn out if you chose to stay silent throughout the ENTIRE game, like any time you had a chance to talk, you didn't
Cry is actually Bruce Wayne's subconscious
The part with Harvey and Selina, I was like 'Harvey, do you not see the bandages on him?'
Well this is late but I want another prompt saying "For fuck sake Harvey! Do you not fucking see these bandages man? Are you blind?"
I figure the teleprompter bit wasn't on the ending screen because it ultimately doesn't matter (as drugged-up Bruce immediately makes it a PR disaster regardless).

I DID THIS! XD
Demeter P I loled soo loud
What the Hell??! Cry never gave Vicki Montoyas name - he said nothing to her. Nothing at all.
Telltale messes up sometimes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A lot of times
Maybe Cry replayed or something and changed the save. I've detected that happen with pewdiepie
I don't think anyone really saw Vickie as the lady of arkham so don't feel bad :D
I'm watching this series after my own personal playthrough, and it's pretty obvious in retrospect. Don't know how they managed to fool all of us.
Well this is late but I got an OMG moment when the gazette headline was shown then I remembered the leader having 'thin' arms just as cry said which gave me the idea that the leader more resembles a female. Rebecca MetroStory Many relatives were forcefully committed to Arkham by Thomas Wayne's drug. Many could've taken the place instead of Vicki.
Man. I was gambling that Oswald's mom was the big bad guy. Vicki Vale is such a wild suspect.
This universe rocks. It strays so far from the conventional story it feels like a whole new thing. It's brilliant. I am loving this series so far

37:17 It's like they are not even desperately clinging to the illusion of "This linear story is tailored by what button you press" anymore.

Goddamn Cry was sassy in this part.
For Superman it's because his glasses changes the colour of his eyes and he kind of bows his back so he doesn't look as tall as Superman. Like always, comic book logic!

i love how harvey just ignored the fact that bruce was covered in bandages....
13:57 "That reminds me of the Brazzers logo and I dont know why" God damnit cry xD
This is really surreal knowing the voice actors that play Bruce Selena and Harvey. Harveys and Selenas are married
When Bruce just stands there in undewear, I thought 'jfc what kind of monster dong-' and then Cry just commented on that as well. :'D
But so far, I reaaaally enjoy this series. I didn't see the thing with Vicki coming at all. I didn't trust her, but woahh.
Finally I can watch this in school and hide in my locker
Arthur Kirkland why do people do that? You guys look super lonely and quite bluntly weird, why not just find a table at the cafeteria
Do people actually hide in lockers?
How big are the lockers in school now? Last time I was in school, I know you could barely fit in them, but not enough to be able to do that.
Lockers in my high school are like 3 feet cubed.....
the locker I had was a squear foot, you could just about get your foot in there if you where lucky
During decisions 'Ohshit!Idon'tknowwhatthefucktochoose!' is shortened to 'hii'
It's pretty amusing to hear XD
Omg I so love Cry's telltale playthroughs. I especially like the story on this one.
"Your junk is so huge"
That made me lose it X3
Well that was unexpected. But if you think about it, she is always there near the crime scene far earlier than other reporters. Like that one time when the cop was drugged, she was there in the building. Or in the debate, she was the only hostage the bad guys did not attempted to kill.
Also, if anyone noticed, CEO of Wayne Enterprises Oswald Cobblepot was credited.
cry: i mean, that's kinda hot.
stop it cry. you're supposed to be innocent.
With this shit coming down, I am honestly thinking that Gordon will become Joker and Alfred will become Green Arrow
Chris V I would not mind if the butler of Batman became Green Arrow.
At 20:40 ish a side character said "Train's ready, move out!"
It kinda sounded like Tank Dempsey......
20:35
Ish....
ChaoticLaw It's probably the same voice actor. I know he tends to do a lot of voices for goons and what not. I think he voiced some goons in Arkham City.
I see Steve Blum, who voices both Tank Dempsey and Spike Spiegel in the credits there, so yep that was indeed him.
this is the wrong moment cry I was doing the stuff now I'll need to watch this video and continue later on
Some one

Aw sheit Mang, Just finished part uno

Seriously Cry? Its 4am here and I was just about to go to sleep. Oh well, guess who's staying up?
Drunken Koala Holy crap. it's 2:46 pm where I live O:

and now we wait another few months for the next episode... GOD i hate episodic releases, i just want to binge watch without getting spoiled

Personally I don't mind, it's like waiting a year for a movie sequel, except the episodes come out more frequently than movies.

But yea, I do dislike that Tell Tale started a trend in this and some developers think this is okay for their game when it's really not the type of game that should be episodic.
Kurai ChanZ the thing about movie sequels : they don't end on bloody cliffhangers so you CAN wait.
I thought it was releasing this month?
Shynight6 i don't know. i don't follow game releases

On the ending:
NO GOD FOR THE LOVE OF FUCK TELLTALE WHY YOU DO THAT. FUCK THAT CHARACTER IN PARTICULAR.
*when you come here from watching the editing stream, I anticipation for the video*

It was so fun watching Cry edit this on his live stream.
Okay but who wouldn't have slept with Catwoman tho. I mean. It's Catwoman. You gotta hit that at least once if you get the chance.
KuraBlue true tho 😂
around 22:01 i realized that masked guy sounds a lot like that narrator in murder trivia party
Jeez. With episodes this short you would think they would just release a complete game. It's a little fucking ridiculous.
Robert Ellis maybe because telltale has to actually think and put proper quality into each episode instead of shitting out shitty outcomes and dumbass dialogue and linear storyline despite your choices. Plus money for business :b

Harvey Dent has always been one of my favourite Batman villains, and holy hell they fucking nailed his character in this.
