For anyone having problems with third mission: Activate stealth mode and fly throught the canyon where the air defenses are. The avengers gets stuck and they will be killed in seconds
Tried to either hold or press H but to no use. EDIT: Had to check the map if it's air defense before pressing H. Alternatively, if H is useless, you can add F4 button into it.

Tips When given the opportunity, don't immediately land and take out the ground enemies and helis with the Avenger's rocket On the third mission, fly to the zancudo military base, the army will help you and avenger don't really shoot. Use VTOL, use the explosive mg on it. If you are not confident enough, just play it on easy. This is just a game, no one will care.
The Avenger's Auto-Pilot should be a one button push, not going into 2 menus just to turn it on and off while getting obliterated by every Merryweather guy in the area. Just switch it to the X/A button on the console and E on PC. While in aircraft I don't think that button is used much.
I finished them all on normal and the payout was only like 300000 and that's with the first-time bonus it was a wast of 14500000 worst update ever especially with them removing 188 cars I'm done with this game till they make a better update I was already bord of this game
What I greatly dislike about the new missions: - you cannot choose a plane, helicopter, CEO vehicle or any special vehicle incl. the Sparrow - you cannot even choose your own outfit (like diver suit)! - the enemies are ridiculously overpowered in their weapons (missiles) and accuracy (many one shot hits) - boring like hell when it takes more than 8 minutes to bring down an Avenger as a solo player
-Even if players aren't detected during the stealth mission the script calls for alarms to go off, that's part of why I hated Doomsday -infinite spawning NPCs is trash in any mission, especially when they have aimbot accuracy -Very solo unfriendly, especially the last mission pushing that stupid cart through infinite spawning NPCs -The trade price difference for the new jet with first time bonus only about break even with the Avenger terminal upgade
The first two nerfs need to be removed for convenience purposes. The third should be restricted to hard mode, while the choppers' weapons should always fire in the direction they're constantly pointed to. And I see nothing wrong with the Merryweather Security Avengers having upgraded armor, makes it an interesting boss battle.

I know this is a year late, but Rockstar revealed that The Los Santos Summer Special update in 2020 was originally going to have more of a police theme to it and finally bring back the Cops 'N Crooks mode from IV's multiplayer, but then George Floyd was killed by corrupt police officers and the following Black Lives Matter protests against Police Brutality happened and they were forced to put the police aspects to the side at the time. Pretty sure the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid in The Chop Shop and the upcoming Vigilante missions for Vincent in the Summer 2024 update are stuff they wanted in that update.
Because people at Rockstar have no sort of military information other than a few pics they saw on the internet. They have tanks driving down the flightline and around the barracks.

The avenger being discounted for Black Friday finally got me around to doing these missions. Something told me these were gonna be tedious and annoying as hell just by the theme of the DLC I hate flying combat to begin with and my goodness was I right what a horrible experience for a solo player. The person that said fly through the canyon in stealth mode on mission 3 because the avenger will blow up in it is a godsend because I would be going on a hour still trying to destroy that stupid thing in the air.
I don't know, 2 heavily well armed and heavily well armored Merryweather Avengers would definitely make a thrilling boss battle in my experience. Kinda reminds me of the Star Fox boss battles.
There are many new bugs in an almost 10 year old game now! - aiming a weapon often makes you go backwards (super helpful for precision shooting) - often the “log in as a boss” isn’t in the menu -game has crashed multiple times since introduction of the DLC - my car garage was empty and I had to go in and out a few times until it was at its normal state again And let’s not even talk about the new missions that are the most unbalanced ones I have come across in a long time including enemies using perfectly aimed missiles that one-shot you, enemies you don’t even see have perfect aim and kill you with a head shot, you have to swim long distances in the water without any defence and bullets hit you even deep down in the water, you have to take 8-10 minutes (!) to bring down an Avenger, etc..
In mission #5, I just parked the NOOSE Armored Van near the exit of facility, to get the awards for not using snacks and armors, and finishing the mission with less than 50% damage.
I’ve finally finished it, but the only hard missions I had to go through with no snacks and armor that I didn’t pass was the final two missions. I’ll had to have some big help and not shoot at anyone and survive until I get onto the damn plane. I would also suggest going through normal mode to get the less than 50% damage and 80% accuracy achievements, just because less headaches and doesn’t cause so much damage. Of course, friends can help. Another suggestion would be if the person who needs these achievements stay on the hold and use the turrets, if needed. Otherwise protect and cover that person while on land.

For the third mission i actually made both the avenger and the other enemy jets follow me to the city, they often hit buildings and the avenger got stuck on the elysian island bridge so i spammed the explosive cannons and completed it after 5 tries.
If you want to kill the avenger in on parade 3# you need to fly to the city and stay low to the ground they will crash into the mountains and will blow up there is a video about it normaly😊
Also the third mission is a pain in the ass, those two avengers. And I already got that mission done and over with the difficult on normal or hard I think

Falling in - Impossible on Hard - I get rocket to the face the moment I get out of Avenger. On Parade - Doable. Just don't get too close especially to the Avengers. Lead them above mil. airfield and then go to Downtown. Every time (2x) one Avenger blows up. Hover behind tall buildings. When Avenger gets stuck, inch towards him and spam rockets.
On parade was everyone’s favorite 🌚😂jp, played it on hard and it took me like 5 tries, coo little tip would be to take the last two enemy avengers to the city and take em through the skyscrapers downtown, hopefully it works for you guys as it did for me 👍🏼

So... you have to buy a hanger. Then you have to buy an avenger. Then you have to buy the console thing. And the total payout isn't even 10% of the cost of the console? Also, why are we the "Team Leader" when we have to do all the heavy lifting? What are we leading- we take orders not give them. I get this is supposed to be some sort of parody 'A Team' kind of thing, but the crazy hillbilly was absolute cancer. They completely missed the mark on Murdock's psycho-charm, and lost an opportunity to bring Trevor Phillips in. Dude loves pissing off Merryweather.
The avenger section on the third mission is a joke. I have to take out like 20 helicopters and jets and then 2 buffed avengers with no checkpoints, and yes the avengers are buffed, no way they can go that fast in heli mode. I think the purpose of the mission is to waste your time with the points thing and then the long fight.
I seriously do not know what Rockstar was thinking with that third mission with the jet. I did it on hard mode by myself and completed it but I hated myself for doing it. Use homing missiles first then you slowly take the avenger down using the explosive machine guns. The explosive machine guns are weaker on the raiju. Except for hydra and lazer. They just nerfed only the damage of the machine guns on the hydra and the lazer but not the fire rate

As a solo player who tries to go into things spoiler free in hard mode, WOW this was not worth the 5mil i had saved up. Mission 3 is the most unfun thing I've ever tried in this game because its just unessecarily long. I hope they fix the payouts and weaken the Avenger health.

For those struggling on the 3rd mission, lure the Avengers into the wind farm and spam rockets or mg at them they get stucked easily

Also, why are we the "Team Leader" when we have to do all the heavy lifting? What are we leading- we take orders not give them. I get this is supposed to be some sort of parody 'A Team' kind of thing, but the crazy hillbilly was absolute cancer. The avenger section on the third mission is a joke. I have to take out like 20 helicopters and jets and then 2 buffed avengers with no checkpoints, and yes the avengers are buffed, no way they can go that fast in heli mode. I think the purpose of the mission is to waste your time with the points thing and then the long fight.
I seriously do not know what Rockstar was thinking with that third mission with the jet. I did it on hard mode by myself and completed it but I hated myself for doing it. I swear I spent an hour on it alone. I do not understand what their goal was with those STUPID buzzards and the infinite health avengers. Horrible mission design. All of it for 20k...
For the third mission do it with your friends or other gamers. That know very much the game of course

“On Parade” is by far the worst of the new missions. That fucking Avenger kept shooting me down
Use homing missiles first then you slowly take the avenger down using the explosive machine guns. The explosive machine guns are weaker on the raiju. Except for hydra and lazer. They just nerfed only the damage of the machine guns on the hydra and the lazer but not the fire rate

As a solo player who tries to go into things spoiler free in hard mode, WOW this was not worth the 5mil i had saved up. Mission 3 is the most unfun thing I've ever tried in this game because its just unessecarily long. I hope they fix the payouts and weaken the Avenger health.
