  • One thing I love to do is driving down those rural backroads. Driving along Brooks Bend Lane near Cordell Hull Luke. Great memories attached to this place. Would love to move to this beautiful area and live in an old-fashioned country home.

    I love it. I'm not from Tennessee I've never been there. I'm actually from Massachusetts and I've taken trips just like this. There's a sense of freedom and living like this. I love it.

    Very cool video. I'm very thankful that people take the time to make videos such as this one to show us the beauty of where they live. I like to visit there someday.

    When I moved to Dayton TN, I was amazed at how many rural roads were paved overall in the state. Sure there are dirt/gravel roads, but the majority of those are private roads, so that makes sense. The difference is night and day compared to state like Georgia, where rural unpaved roads are the norm.

    This type of area has my name written all over it. I currently live in a city but waiting on massive answers to prayers to move out to the country. For many reasons. Don't like city life anymore. Smart meters, wifi, dirty electricity, LED lights on streets, massive chemtrailing over cities / suburbs. Air pollution in the air and from traffic is horrible. Constant noise too.

    I live for this.. I've been driving for 10 years but i just got my first vehicle and i am addicted to driving. I plan all my routes based on backroads. Only problem is i drive a family sedan and i already ended up on 2 unmaintained backroads that i barely made it out of. Lol.

    Twenty years ago I would have loved living way out in the sticks, but since then I have come to love the internet. It allows me to indulge my curiosity to no end and allows me to learn whatever I want. Out in the sticks, the only internet you can get usually is satellite internet which has too many bandwidth restrictions (I'd go over then in a day or so). A temporary vacation into the sticks would be nice, but living there, not so nice.

      Living out in the sticks is great. We actually do have better internet than that. Some areas, maybe not but most do. Even without good internet, Id take the sticks anyday over anything else. Course Im the odd ball out in my generation that doesnt care or like to be connected to the whole rest of the world all of the time too.

    How is the cost of living and the jobs for a Class A truck driver with tankers and hazmat endorsements? Good paying local jobs? Considering moving out that way from Texas. Thank you

    • @IngoBreuer
      @IngoBreuer  8 років тому +4

      There are a few dirt roads here. If you look close at this video and see the point where i turned around that's where it turns into a dirt road. I might have some other material from a dirt road in this area. Maybe I publish that on youtube. Have to check.

      Not after hard rain. They wash out and are dusty. They are a lot of maintenance.
