Scenic Drive of North Carolina Country Roads | Driving Sounds for Sleep and Study

- A scenic summer drive through eastern Wake County, Zebulon and Rolesville, North Carolina in a Jeep Wrangler with the windows down. We've taken extra care to preserve the sound of the wind without introducing clipping or harshness. We hope you enjoy the video and find peace and relaxation. See below for a map of the route.
4K video drive for relaxation, stress relief, meditation, study and sleep. As with all my videos, this is not looped or layered, this is a real-time recording, filmed by me, using the best mobile microphones, cameras and audio recorders available for extremely realistic results.
"Zebulon is a charming small town with a great deal of history and is known as "The Town of Friendly People".
Visitors have the opportunity to visit a growing downtown that has new businesses moving in that include a bridal shop, pizza, wine, construction and so much more. The community has six parks, the Farm Fresh Market, a championship disc golf course located at the Community Park, the Carolina Mudcats Baseball at Five County Stadium as well as many well-known businesses and community events."

Thank you so much, I am in Germany right now and I’m so homesick. All I do is think about my days of driving home or to work and taking backroads to enjoy the scenery. This is perfect. This reminds me of driving home with my windows down and hearing the cicadas and feeling the nice warm weather. I miss it so much

Great video. I'm sick at this weekend and I'm feeling bad that I have to stay in home in this sunny weather. I watched this video as a substitute for going outside. It made me feel better. Also, I don't live in the USA, so seeing these landscapes, houses, roads, sceneries is educational. Now I know more how people live here. It must be great to live there.

I've always dreamt of moving to eastern Tennessee or western North Carolina. I love the mountains and it would be so nice to escape the terrible winters we have here in Wisconsin. I'm not sure if the people there would take kindly to a northerner living in their midst though.
I live in a town outside of Asheville from Minnesota upper Midwest like you the people are really friendly and the food is great but also the winters aren’t frigid like they are up north

how do you get your audio so clean, what mic do you use?
👋 thanks for watching. I record into an Zoom F6 with a custom binaural mic rig.
Condenser mics:
Pickup Pattern: Omnidirectional
Frequency Range: 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz +/-1dB
Sensitivity: -24dB ±3dB @ 94dB SPL
S/N Ratio: 80dB
Maximum SPL at 12vdc: 120dB
Dynamic Range: 132dB, 1 kHz at Max SPL
Impedance: 2.2 kOhms
Mic placement is inside the vehicle, but the cabin is open with wind whipping through (I’m in a Jeep Wrangler). I use custom wind muffs that I made myself.
48v to the mics via phantom power. I use a Watson power supply.
32 bit float during recording and then correct any clipping, etc, in Izotope RX 9. Then, in my main editor, I generally do other edits to set levels, remove jarring sirens, etc.
I also have some custom low cut/bass roll off set on the recorder.
It’s a labor of love because I really don’t make any money from the effort I put into it.
I would highly recommend NC highway 97!
