Thank you for your subscription, I will be checking out your channel as well. Keep it up my friend.
I remember the stories coming out of there. I am a Search and Rescue Tech and have been throughout that valley on both sides of the road. The first time on an Op was early morning and it was foggy. Interesting place. On the west side on a different day, we found an abandoned truck off the Road. Several hundred yards from the road. People dump trash on the side all the time and we do see cyclists riding on proctor all the time. On the west side of the north is a bunch of trees with water near it. On the west side of Proctor Valley to the middle, we ran into what appeared to be an old well and an old building with just the foundation left. Mountain bikers are there all the time in that valley and I am also a tracker for search and Rescue and there are Migrant paths along there. We find clothes and electrolyte bottles. There are no homes in that area a lot of that area is Preserved by the county for wildlife.
Thanks for the info, it is really sad that people are illegally dumping stuff on Wildlife Reserve grounds.
I drove through this place at 3am with my cousin because we wanted to experience this. It was for sure creepy and felt like we were being watched from the distance by an unknown force. When I went with him it was our second attempt. He has a Jeep so his car can effortlessly handle these roads. First attempt we tried to use my little Lexus IS250. Didn’t get too far and decided to take his Jeep the next evening. Anyhow, yeah we felt like we were being watched. We also felt someone was following us on the road despite the fact no car was there. Spooky. Also felt a couple cold spots inside the Jeep itself but that could be just because it was cold outside. Or ghosts ? Who knows.
Very interesting story, thanks for sharing!
I remember when proctor valley Rd turned to pavement where the fire station is in East lake. Then dirt again taking you out to Otay lake. I also remember when East Lake was all dirt and mountains.
Exactly, I remember that too. There wasn't a single home not to mention all the new developments.
The only vehicles you would see were the border patrol's Ford Broncos, and some campers going to Piopico campsites
On minute 1135. In that rea on the right side. Weve seen a lady in white 3 times different days. She starts twisting around. N shes starting at you really creepy weve seen her walking in the middle of the road she looks more clearer there also right there weve had our windows open from backof the suburban. N had a black shadow crawl inside. N everyonein the car screaming.. Weve been there like 40 times at night different times I always take more than 10 teenagers ghost hunting. Its scary when weve seen her. We end up crying its really a creepy feeling but you just cant stop from going there.
Wow!, that is such an amazing story thanks for sharing it with us.
Believe it or not there were incidents back in the 50's as my dear parents and others witnessed abnormal sightings that they never forgot driving through this road to connect to east county area
Interesting, I did another followup documentary there at night and I still didn't see anything strange.
@@knowledgesource101 yes my mother was very descriptive about the incident even though it happened decades ago.
@@mlss1229 Could you share the story with us if that is OK with your mom?
@@knowledgesource101 certainly, we were aware of their experience as young kids because they told us but it was nearly forgotten as we grew older that is until we were eating dinner with my mother at a local restaurant in Bonita years ago before she passed. She asked If proctor road was still open since it was a shortcut to their rural home in El Cajon back in the 1950’s. She then remembered the incident as we questioned her about it...It happened one late evening driving home from their church service through this road as usual. They were together with my very young elder sisters who were fast asleep in the car. Suddenly my father stopped the vehicle abruptly and my mother exclaimed “Sweet Jesus, protect us, what is this we see?” There was also another incoming vehicle stopped in front of the road. (let me just say my parents were never alcohol drinker nor did anything or anyone scare my brave dad easily...as a youngster he would deliver milk to the surrounding homes in rural areas at dawn through a graveyard, no only that but because they lived in a rural area, they were well aware of the local wildlife, their looks and sounds ) nevertheless my mother stated that dad told her the hairs on the back of his neck were ruffled as he watched it with fear. She mentioned the road was dark but with the headlight beams on she could see this dark looking creature, almost black like in color, long serpent like smooth coated, about 6ft long like a human very low to the ground, slowly dragging it’s body across the road. It looked at them with large red glowing eyes. She said everything happened so fast that she seemed to look away for a second and when she saw it again it was already on the other side of the road as it disappeared. And here’s another incident my mother recalled...a childhood friend went to visit my dad. He told him he wasn’t taking that road again because he saw something very unusual and downright weird and unexplainable. Fast forward another incident was told to me at my workplace by a coworker. She stated her husband worked for SDG&E, both he and another coworker were servicing lines in that area when suddenly they heard a weird noise and spotted an unexplained dark figure from afar they could sense some fear as it just quickly disappeared? Who knew?
@@mlss1229 Wow, that is such an interesting and chilling story. Thanks for sharing it with us, I am gonna make a few more trips there with all my camera gear to see if I can catch something on video.
I am a San Diego native and I know for a fact that Proctor Valley Road is used as a shortcut to and from Chula Vista for many people. I work for the county and it hasn't been paved because it would cost millions, and the county won't pay for it, as it isn't as frequently traveled as regular roads. Also, many parts around that road are protected. That area is patrolled by the Sheriff, so it's not always unattended. Lots of weirdos, drug attics, and illegals in that area. I'd be more scared of humans doing illegal activity there than the paranormal.
Good point, although I didn't see any weirdos roaming around while I was driving through it.
Are you that semple minded you must be woantingto tell a story I'm ashamed to listen to you pitiful

Bodies found throughout the years haunts that place today.
This guy is sincere.....
Thank You
Many years ago I used to go off-roading out there and one night me and my buddy and my friend girl went out there off-roading that is starting to get dark we pulled over for a smoke break then the hair on the back of our necks stood up we felt an evil presence around us it's hard to explain we got into that 4Runner and lock the hubs and hauled ass out of there
Thanks for sharing this amazing story, I totally believe you! there is something out of the ordinary there. Spookiness radiates in the air.
Also, I saw 3. At first I thought they were people, and I approached along the paved trail on my longboard so I was pretty silent while skating along. I tend to make noises so that if people are doing sketchy stuff ahead, they know i'm around (I've seen people do weird stuff and walking in on people doing intimate stuff at night is not fun for ANYONE), so I yelled ahead thinking they were PEOPLE, and when they saw me they dipped FAST. I can only tell their height because the overbrush was taller than me, so above 5.5 ft. Such a wild experience, I think we ended up chilling at the lake still since we didn't fully process exactly what had happened. Even now it sounds crazy.
Wow, this is really crazy, I’m sure there’s some type of paranormal activity going on there
So they weren't people?
This is our playground, people use this road for recreation and sometimes maybe international visitors . Its also a good place for night gravel bike session. Very safe . Don’t scare yourself 😂😂😂no ghost or alien allowed here😅
Thanks for your valuable input, now I will go there at night time with full confidence :-) 😅
On minute 12. That tree in the left side its the only creepy one like that right after the curve weve seen the white lady standing there around in various parts on the right side something white always follows us until we get out of the road. We always carry flashlights n the boys always flashing light at her. She follows us through the bushes n behind the car. Theats the part with most activity from proctor valley road. Theres black shadows on that area run outside the car n behind us. We all have seen them. In the car you get touch with our apps they call out names of the passengers who r with us. Theres scary female screams.
OMG, that is so spooky, I also went there at night time which gave some real chills here is the footage ua-cam.com/video/rtAT2AnbtRQ/v-deo.html
What a spooky place!
It sure is spooky
Spooky it is, not even questionable
After watching the horror you experienced I will never go down proctor valley road.
You should not have scared your wife that way. Hope your drone is working ok now. That was quite risky.
Honestly loved this video thank you.
Thank you for your encouragement, I am trying my best, but I do realize that I am no pro ;-)
Have you heard of Rock Elmore"s book about this area- out on foot a border patrols tale.
I haven't yet, but I will look into it. Thanks
I use to drive the road every night for five years and never once saw anything
We didn't see actual ghosts either, but we notice abnormal hand prints on the back of your cars.
@@knowledgesource101how do you mean?
@@bismarkwilliamson8117 There were hand prints of small people on the back of the window of the car after we drove through the valley.
@@knowledgesource101 that's creepy
@@bismarkwilliamson8117 Absolutely!!
I wonder what this guy sounds like going to the supermarket. 🤔 'There is a shopping cart in the middle of the aisle...with NO ONE near it!' That to me is kind of spooky, I mean, how did it get here?? Where is the person who pushed it there?? What happened to them?? I will fly my drone up and over these store shelves to see if I can find that person'. Ah such fun, such fun.
LOL, I know I was over dramatic about everything to make it more interesting ;-)
You out of your mind!
Thanks for your input.
Dude, tons of roads in East County turn into single lane dirt roads, especially in Jamul, that's like every other road. Also, it's not strange that Proctor Valley is undeveloped, tons of land east of that, south of that and going east for miles and miles is open space or undeveloped.
I remember when Telegraph Canyon Road would lead the lake with absolutely nothing around it, not a single home. I am talking mid 1980s and look at it now it is completely developed with more houses than you can imagine. So I found it really strange that Jamul both ends of the Proctor Valley Road is fully developed except for the connecting road between them. Also if you read the comments someone said something about a family owning a bar in on Proctor Valley, and the entire family vanished with no signs of them anywhere.
Have you ever ventured east of the 125??
I did as far as the roads were public roads, but many of them were private roads, so I couldn't go there.
I dont know what to think, this guys doing the video is making me wonder what is he traying to say, yes there is weird stuff that has not been explained but if you really wanna have a interesting nite try it at nite with a full moon.
There is border patrol, sheriff and jamul locals go thru there. Let me know if you wanna go.
I did go there at night time here is the footage ua-cam.com/video/rtAT2AnbtRQ/v-deo.html
I've seen the furry creatures at lake murray about 3-4 years ago, I KNOW i'm not crazy since my friend was there too. Happened at night on the trail and the three left FAST, so fast my mind processed it as people on bikes, but no, they were HUGE, furry and DEFINITELY didn't have bikes. I'd recommend going through the general area of tierrasanta , though the range of wildlife stretched from santee all the way down. Also, I have an ex who bikes around that area of proctor valley, it was probably him xD. TBH it's next to eastlake so you get all those rich weirdos who have no time but to bike and sh*t lol.
Wow! I’m gonna definitely research it it is so interesting. Thank you for sharing this with me
