I like the last mobile home you toured. The kitchen was very nice. It looked like what is standard in a stick built home. The barn door separation was different. I also like that there was a living and family room. They now say primary bedroom but I still refer to it as master bedroom. I wish you the best with your new home.
Well, it is the samething as having the primary suite right in the formal living room. Besides you can always opt. out of any built-ins or opt. out of a lot of things that will also lower the price of the house, because I will never get their fireplace or their ceiling fans with the house, I would still have the hook-ups installed, but I get my own ceiling fans & insert my own firplace unit. I would go with only the standard finishings, order my faucet off of amazon & not their blackplash, I would do my own. There is a lot of things you can do to lower that price. Now the only thing that I would pay the upgrades for & that is to have full dry wall no board & batten strips & no carpet in the main living areas as in the formal living room & den...Good luck on your search!
Thanks for your insight. I didn't know you could opt out of finishes. I've also been looking into older mobile homes that may be need a LITTLE (key word little 🤣🤣) repair. My brother bought his used and has added so much. It's really nice
@@lifewithambz oh, you do not have to go with the upgrades that are showcase in a lot of these houses. DO NOT let any of these sales agents bamboozle you into thinking all you see is all you get pay attention to the fine print. If you see a house that says $150K before options that means more than likely all the upgrades that you see in the house is not included in the price. Now you have fallen in love with the model & want just about everything you saw. By time you add all those upgrades, plus the delivery depending on the mileage to where the land is & setup with the skirting, plus tax trust you are looking at close to being $195k plus, trust!!! My first question is always, what do I get in this house for this price of $150k? What comes standard or what is considered an upgrade? Then take it from there & you are sooo welcome, dear.....
Thanks for the tour. I plan on buying a mobile home with my lower income. I’m working on paying off debt and raising my credit score. Thanks for taking us along

The 3rd was really nice as well. Definitely making me want to consider a mobile home. Can you do a video on their financing? What are the requirements?
