For anyone new to challenge running these games, this is NOT necessary to do in NUR+ and PAIN runs. This is simply a bonus credit and the challenge ends when you beat Ares' first phase.
Brooo! great job! I was struggling with clone war at Hard mode,i died to them for like 1 hour then i did it and i was feeling happy.but this is just legendary.
Plenty of close calls, glad to see that you were able to prevent an L with your skill (by being able to read the situation quickly enough, including a timely reaction). However, if you can help it, do try to stick to Zim's teachings about the handling of the second spawn pool instead of what I do (by ringing out the stack instead of the target clone). In my case, it's owed to force of habit (and the fact that I've gotten away with it multiple times **including ND wins** doesn't quite help my brain to let go of this), but as you could see, the top right clone can hurt the family pretty badly, so you'd want to deal with him as little as possible. It's not too late before it becomes an habit for you as well. So now you've got two NUR+ wins and one PAIN win. Looking forward to the day when you get an ND PAIN win.
In some moments you were close to failing, I can only imagine smashing the controller if you did (I definitely would in your place). I also did a NUR+ of GoW 1, but I stopped after beating Ares 1 (who is also pretty hard). This battle is insanely difficult, will definitely retry to beat it someday though. As of now, I get my ass kicked not long after the temple has crumbled. I feel the most difficult thing here is positioning yourself well, and not screwing up inputs. Assuming a clone doesn't spawn in some bad spot. Great job anyway.
I have done NUR+ only Clone war remains I know that it's not needed and it's a bonus fight but beating it would be satisfying knowing that u beat it at lv1
