One of my uncles was in the Royal Canadian Navy back when I was a young lad. He gave my brother and I each a folding knife that had a blade shaped like that (just a straight edge though) and a marlin spike and a can opener. It was what the RCN was using back then.
Cool set you have there. Thanks for sharing it with us.
    Cheers from NB

That looks like a nice set. I’m going to pick one up soon. I already have the marlinspike and I love it!! 👍

Did you build those cedar strip canoes? Do you have videos on building those?

I’ve been searching around and apparently the gen2’s are crap made in china but the older models were actually great quality and actually made in Japan

What is the thickness of the blade?

So, the spike is basically a fid?

Not a bad looking but being to similar 440 it will rust eventually. I would prefer to skip the fixed blade alltogrther and get a Spyderco folding Rescue knife with H1 steel.

Did I mention the lifetime warranty?

Supposedly the difference between the two alloys is higher corrosion resistance but with similar edge retention properties.

The no-name steel choice is a bummer

The blade rusted and stained. 👎
