Incredible for a budget board to offer this much quality. 2024 has been quite a year so far, which makes me wonder what the next seven months will bring in the sub $100.00 space. Thank you for another great video, Taza!
Thank you for watching! 🌞 Yeah with this ND75, the Rainy75, and even the Bridge75 - the budget board space is blowing up and getting a lot more competitive.
Just ordered one of this bad boys thanks for actually showing how to screw in the top mount (sure I would of figured its out) but no one had actually shown it. Super excited to pair this with my custom white pc I made a year ago, first board away from major “gaming” razor, Corsair etc. keyboards.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 🌞 Sounds like a great upgrade if you're coming from Razer/Corsair. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!
Thank youuuu 🌞 Honestly, I'm not the most thorough content creator out there. Your THOCCnology latency index is much more analytical than anything I've put out 😌 Thank you for dropping by - I enjoyed your review on the ND75 as well!
@@potatoking414 Hii! ^^ Hm, not an easy question. My Rainy75 has an FR4 plate which might be a nice feature for many. If you prefer the ND75 screen and if you plan to open the keyboard for modding quite often, the ball-catch opening will come in handy! (Also the blue and purple of the ND75 is just mind--blowing
@@Tyler500x I enjoyed the top-mount with foam configuration the most. If this were the 1.6mm PCB though, I think the board would sound great without foam as well. 1.2mm always seems to need some foam to compensate.. Which one sounds best to you??
Thank you so much for watching 🌞 I actually downloaded the 1.0.0.0 version of the driver back when I filmed this video, so I would suggest you try that version out if the 1.0.0.2 version is giving you trouble. This should be available on the Chilkey website as well! Hopefully reverting back to the original version helps with the monitor icon not showing up. Let me know how it goes!
I have a question. I wanna give this keyboard as a gift. Does the driver save the settings on board so that when the receiver gets the kb, it can already load up the gif and lighting settings and everything?
Yes, the driver saves the gif and lighting settings to the keyboard! Keep in mind you'll need to unwrap it though (it comes in a plastic wrap). Apologies for the late reply - good luck with the gifting!!! 🌞
I personally recommend this over the Rainy75, because of a few things: 1) It's more customizable - the ball-catch case design makes it easy to open and close and there are a few different mounting options that you can experiment with 2) There's an LCD screen that you can play around with. It's more of a novelty thing, but I always enjoy having the option. 3) Magnetic connectors for the PCB makes it really easy to work with as well As for "thockiness", I believe the ND75 is deeper sounding stock, but this is mainly due to the difference in switch and plate material. Both boards will sound amazing!
If you have the option to buy the 1.6mm non-flex PCB, that will be the first thing to secure. Apart from that, top mount with just the case foam would be my choice!
I'm loving the video style and editing! Keep it up! I was thinking about getting this board but I'm curious about the latency in it's 2.4ghz wireless mode since it doesn't say anywhere. If you know anything that'd be great
Wow, thank you for the comment! For latency testing, I recommend you check out THOCCnology's video on the ND75 - she's usually super thorough with her latency testing!🌞
@@TAZAKEY Thank you, I got the Rain75 instead of the ND75 because the 2.4 GHz wireless is faster! But I got the Rain75 mainly because of Thoccnology and your review videos on them! @@TsugoMono Rainy75 is an excellent option! I'm sure you'll really enjoy it! Because the Rainy75 comes with keycaps already, you can also use it for a while and see how you like them before buying a set. Hope this helps!
