    I just done one on mine. Same bike. Didn’t undo the small 8mm tho. Was wondering why only 300ml came out and the glass was still full. Will try again.

    you are tightening beyond the torque limit of the oil drain screws. Note that a small portion of the threads came loose. You don't need to use that much force on a ratchet wrench.

    the only way you can thoroughly decontaminat new oil is by flushing out the motor lol, there will always be a small trace of old oil that mixes with the new oil, also hence why they make magnetic oil drain plugs to keep metal fragments on magnet and out of circulating oil 👌

      a magnet pulls only iron..not other metals

      with an aluminum block and piston, a magnet does not attract to those metals.

    Don't stick car oil in your dirt bike, it has friction modifiers in it which will eventually play merry hell with your clutch fibre plates... Use something appropriate for motorcycles ;-)

    hey hope someone could respond my question, I have braked the oil screw pip inside something really bad that I understand that cost me to replace the hole part, can I use the second oil screw to replace/change the oil ? (the second oil screw that you've opened)

    • @ReclameGrase
      @ReclameGrase 6 років тому +2

      albert aronovich hey man did you fix your problem? You could try and weld something to the broken part and then try taking it out by unscrewing.

    If you only ran the bike for 4 hours and the oil is that black then either you have crappy oil or a bad filter.

    • @rwpeaches
      @rwpeaches 5 років тому +1

      one of the oil's job is to CLEAN the engine. if the oil is golden clear after 4 hours I would be very worried! Id rather it black as it means its actually cleaning the engine. Black is probably from the clutch plates

    • @krazed0451

      @@ryanevans8647 GTX is a car oil with friction modifiers, they will eventually cause the clutch fibres to slip badly. I learnt this lesson when I first started servicing my own bikes, it's a PITA to have to replace your clutch pack because you cheaped out on the oil. Use something marked for MC use ;-)
