First let me say... THANK YOU!! for zooming in to the tools so we can actually see what they are.
All the other videos just say click on X and blah blah blah! I'm always squinting and yelling WHICH TOOL IS THAT?!?!
New subscriber!
I swear they made photoshop so complicated.. it used to be so easy and now im searching up tutorials for simple things.
been thinkin the same! whyyy am i here *sigh*
because the number of skilled designers and artists are increasing, they should increase difficulty to keep the hierarchy or else everyone will be good :)
OMG i thought it was just me. haha
Premierre and after effects are a walk in the park ompared to photoshop, I use all three almost daily and photoshop seems to have its own AI "BUGGER YOU UP" algorithm.
@@kingoftheorient that is sarcasm right?
I had been looking for a SIMPLE and recent tutorial for so long. And you my good sir delivered. Thank you!
Thanks first time doing photoshop, had fun doing this tutorial with you. Great content keep it up man thumps up ;D
thank you!! just made a thumbnail for my ff7r cosplay hehehe , so clear and easy to follow!
Ayyee that's brilliant I bet the thumbnail looks great
still the best tutorial around, excellent work Vertic
OMG!!! Thank you so much for this video, I don’t have 2020 but with the quick selection took and masks I was able to get a much cleaner background removal than Magic Eraser or Background Eraser which I used to use before. I’m a self taught beginner and this video has upped my photoshop game by a mile, I feel the photos are almost perfection now! Thank you again, definitely subscribed and will be watching other vids 🙌
Fantastic! I have to create composites for my PS class and I've viewed so many tutorials on how to remove a subject from a background and how to refine the edges, and yours is the best!
That's brilliant! I'm glad it's the right video for you and best of lucky to you and your class. You're going to do really well 👍
The best tutorial on the subject so far! I am a fan :)
I've been trying to look for magic wand, thank you.
Cheers for explaining this in such a straight-forward way
This is a great tutorial for removing all types of backgrounds. TIP: If you have the latest version of photoshop and still can't find the object selection tool, go to Edit - Toolbar.
Still no OST
@@tommyalipoyo3954 It's one of those tools that's part of a set. It's there with Quick Selection Tool and Magic Wand Tool. On my default tool bar it's the 4th icon from the top. Hold the button down and a pop up menu will show up and you can select from there.
This deserves more likes man. At first I couldn't find the overlay color. But I figured it out thankfully and boom, it's done. So gratefull for this tutorial. Due to curfew I started learning photoshop and this helped a lot. I said I will be doing daily challenges. Removing background at first then changing it etc. One challenge each day. Thanks for that.
That's a brilliant idea! its a fun and great way to do it, like I mentioned before to someone else best way is to find a purpose for Photoshop so that will get you to use it more and more. Everytime you use it you pick up a little bit more. Well.. I guess I'll be seeing you at the top ;)
Duuuude the one tip selection is dope! Do you always use photoshop to edit?
Thanks and yeh.. pretty much, I use Photoshop for everything haha
Took me a couple rewinds but finally got it. Thanks!
Ah yeh the first few times it may be harder to get but im glad you know now
Great tutorial and easy to follow. Thank you very much sir!
Nice to see how smooth and easy this can be! I am studying! Thank you good sir!
Wow! This is the very best and most comprehensive video I have found on removing backgrounds! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been doing it the old way for too long and it just doesn't work well. Again, thank you!!
No worries, happy to hear this aha and I'm the same when it comes to using older tools or manual ones so it's good having this option available to save time
Thank you for this video. Your tutorial is much easier to comprehend than the other videos. I appreciate that you really showed each tool, commands even the mouse click to the video. I'll definitely try this.
Thank you very much for putting this up. Like a lot of other commenters I am not a pro or power user, just a person who has to do some of their own small business marketing on the fly. Your tutorial was the perfect pace, touched on all the big things we need to hear in plain language and see while we hear, and went soup to nuts. Your vid got me where I needed to go in under 20 min (after screwing with stuff all day). Thanks again. Liked and subscribed.
Thanks! This helped a ton.
Many thanks your video was very helpful
Wow Brother This Tutorial is very Expensive I Can't explain in words hats off to you brother

Outstanding tutorial, thank you so much for your time, expertise and effort in making these tutorials for other people's benefit.
I'm a amateur photographer who normally only use photoshop for detailed adjustments but as we are all locked down at the moment I thought I'd try something new.
I'm so glad I did, thanks to your easy to follow tutorials I think I've found a new genre to get into😀
The possibilities are endless.
Well done and stay safe👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you SO much for this. You're a top man to watch and these tutorials are so easy to understand.

Brilliant! Glad it was easy to follow
It was only today that I needed to remember how to do this in photoshop.
Thank you good sir for your tips.
You're welcome and thanks for dropping by
My only follow up is that my file is not saving in PS once I have done the select mask and new layer.
Do you have any advice?
Amazing tutorial bro! Tks.

Great tutorial!! Very detailed and easy to follow.
I don't get the properties you get when I click Select and mask. I just get a window with very little info and no options to choose from.
Great video! Any tips on making the edges smoother..Cheers
Hi Vertic, I don't know how you do at 14:42 min? How can I make this layer appear as black ground? Thanks
Dude you are a legend! This is the BEST tutorial on how to remove a background on Photoshop CC 2020.
THE BEST VIDEO TUTORIAL ABOUT REMOVE BACKGROUND IN PHOTOSHOP 2020 THANK YOU
AWESOME!! Thank you very much!
TYSM HELPED ALOT :)
No worries and I'm glad to hear
So helpful. Thank you!
I have the 2020 photoshop and it looks nothing like this. I sure wish I felt the same way as the other commenters. This video did nothing for me. As I said I have 2020 version and it looks nothing like your screen. I have quick selection and a magic wand only. I got absolutely nothing from this.
Exact same for me.
But will this really work as well if the background isn’t blurred and more complex?
thnx a lot bro, it really works,
but do u know how can we change the colour???
The colour of the overlay or how to add a coloured background?
@@VerticDesigns sory for the confusion, after completely seing the video i understood
@@adityasreejit3074 Ahh right, well let me know if you have any other questions
@@VerticDesigns no i don't have,I love ur vids, keep making

when you use brush it mask in red color you can open your selected place come and see the new tutorials
Thank you very much...you are great...❤❤❤
I know it's probably me, but I don't have those options where you have them. I have the 2020 version - but my toolbar doesn't look like that. So unless you skipped a step at the beginning, mine is somehow different.
Nice video. Thanks a lot.
That's very educative.. Big thanks 4this 😊
I'm glad it is and thank you, I appreciate it 😁
thanks for you explain !
OUTSTANDING VIDEO. That pretty well sums it up for me.
learn PS with new projects it's so so usefull
Thanks so much for a great tutorial. After a couple of attempts had some really good results. I have watched a couple of other tutorials on the same topic but yours was easily the clearest instructions.Am going to look at your website or any other course you do. Thanks and do you take donations. With the Corona virus meaning I am at home I am spending spare time trying to improve my photography/Photoshop skills. To anyone that reads this who has been affected by the Corona Virus I wish you all well.
Thanks for the video. I am a beginner n using 2021 and removing background worked as per your instructions. However, "select n mask" color was opposite. The sub was red and the background was mask screen :) no idea what was I doing differently.
I'm using 2020 but don't have opacity and color...goddamn I hate how these properties show up different with every version
The tutorial is great but how do i save the masked photo because when i do it always puts in a white background but i want it to be transparent (with the grey and white squares)
Thanks and i want more video like this😍😍
No problem and i have some newer ones on my channel :D
Thank you so much, this really helps me

Thnks so nice I understand so easily 😍😍
No worries and I'm happy to hear it was easy
Can anyone help. After quick selection I select and mask but my background doesn’t disappear though subject is selected. So background is still there . Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong. I’m following the tutorial to a T but I think maybe there’s a hidden step am not aware of
Is your layer unlocked? And what happens when you press the mask button
Great video!!!
My only problem is the color filter, can you tell me how do you add it?
omg so helpful thank you!
Thanks sooo much dude i was super stuck on this
It's all good and I'm glad this cleared it up for you
Thank you so much for sharing tricks 🤭🤫
Thanks for teach me remove background of photoshop
Great...thank you.
7:41 I set it as a "new layer", press "ok" and nothing happens. The background does not disappear at all, it stays absolutely the same. None of these "remove background" videos ever work.
Have you got another copy of the background or did you unlock the layer
I have photoshop cc 2020 so why i dont have "object selection tool" ?
Oh wow. This really works. Good to know. Thanks so much.
My same reaction when i used it haha I'm a pen tool user so I was surprised but I'll give it to adobe they have done a really good job on it
very helpful,thank you
Great Job!.....Very good stuff.
I appreciate it
Thank you for the tutorial, it was VERY helpful. I do have one question, how do you get the background color to change? I do not have that option on my tool bar. I do have the new 2020 version
If you're in select and mask it should be at the top right of your screen if not then you can just get yourself a solid coloured layer if you click the half filled circle at the bottom of the layer panel
@@VerticDesigns I tried doing the half-filled circle method and it changed the ENTIRE photo color. How can i fix this?
Love and thanks brother.
That's help me pretty much!!
Huge thanks to you
