I like how Scott isn't scared to say exactly what he does what he fishes and how he fishes. Soo many pros are soo scared to even show what bait they use like it would make any diff. Great content! Keep up the good work!!
You absolutely won the tournament after receiving a nice letter like that Scott ! That's a real blessing ! You're winning at life ! Nice 20/20..I really enjoy them a lot !
Thank you for being honest and direct about your fishing and decision making! We will all be better fishermen because of it. On my grandson's first fishing trip he told me "Grandpa this was the best day of fishing ever." He was 4. We caught two small perch. That's what fishing is all about. Thanks for reading the letter from your six year old fan, Awesome!
Co-angler pro tip, you see how Scott’s co-angler helped him out every time he caught a fish and untangled his hook out of the net every fish. The little things that the pros appreciate
Scott I like the 20/20 series. It has prompted me to look at what mistakes I have made or what I could have done better on my fishing trips. In the past I would just chalk it up to the fish weren't biting lol. Another thing that helps is taking someone fishing with you during practice. It's just more/different baits presented to the fish in a short amount of time. It helps me to hone in on color most of all. Just think the world would never have known "spinnerworm" works if you hadn't taken Brandon fishing with you.
Suppending fish, what not use a jigging spoon? You've said this over and over again, when fish bunch up, that's when you get more aggressive bites. With at said, you KNOW how to catch bass. Once you are in the zone, you WIN! Next tournament you will learn something totally different. You the man, SCOTT!
Installed a new Garmin on the rig yesterday. Blown away by it's clarity. Thank you for taking time to share your experiences with us and good luck on the rest of your stops brother!!
These 20/20 segments are awesome, love hearing what worked for you and what didn’t. I’m following you on FishBrain and am excited to use it to connect with anglers in my area and improve my own skills this summer.
Your outflow of positiviness will allow you to take charge this next tournament and gain the momentum you desire for the rest of the season!!! You got this Scott Martin on 3... BAMMM🤛🏁
Pretty work out there man. There's always room for improvement and every move/decision makes a huge impact in the final standings. Congrats on some good fishing out there man
Love the 20/20 big help, I get out to fish about once a week. So, it makes that day fun and productive. In one of your boat videos could you take about the specifics of your Lithium battery setup. Right now I fishing with 4 marine batterys in an older boat. I really want to take some weight out it. Thanks
I was at Kentucky Lake the same weekend, very different, but, it was a difficult weather pattern at Cumberland and once again for me to be out fishing with my brother on his Ranger boat, we had a real difficult time, Hats off to Bryan Thrift and all the FLW Pro's, who really caught fish, and I hoped you could have won that Scott and I am looking forward to see you win another tournament this year...Oh, I love The Hindsight 20/20 videos..👍🎣👍🎣👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Pretty cool! Highlight was reading Jude's letter! Scott you probably have know idea what you have done for that little boy! Amazing stuff!!! God Bless Each of You!
Scott, thanks for reading Jude's letter, my six year old grandson writes to me similarly. VERY Special! Great breakdown and tips about the jerkbait, swimbait and reel speeds.
Yep I think you figured out the copule mistakes you made but that's part of it most people would not say they did something wrong that's why Scott one of the best.
Great footage and information Scott . Like all sports it comes down to the little things , right ? The difference in gear ratio . The weight of the rod and the decision in tactics . Thank you so much for your professional knowledge.
I dig these 20/20s. I had a bad BFL tournament last weekend and I have been racking my brain as to what I could have done better or different. One think clicked just now. You fished the lake after you were no longer in the tournament. I should have gone back the next day too. This type of stuff is why you are the Pro and I am a co-angler. Thank you Scott...and awesome letter too.
Great review. Had to chuckle when you said you should have gone with the 8:1 ratio reel. I remember when we would buy Abu 5000s and then have to buy aftermarket gears to get them up to the blazing speed of 5:1. :-) What some real advances we've made in equipment. Now we're seeing 9:1 and faster. Best of luck at Smith and keep grinding. You will take one or two # 1 finishes this year.
With the weather conditions I think you did Great, loved the huge Walleye you caught pre-fishing, I know you have to think and re-think, don't be so hard on yourself 24 out of how many???
Love it brother. Love all you do. Keep on keeping on. That W will come soon! Love the Videos!! Some of them crack me up! I’m pulling for ya from East TN! You every come this way give me a shout!!!
Scott, I think you should have used 8 lb regular fluorocarbon or 6lb tactical instead of 10lb. When you rely on 10-12 bite a day, you have to downsize the rig much is possible.
Scott my friends and I are going to start playing a drinking game where every time you say "its a biggun" where going to take a shot and the last man standing wins lol. Keep up they great work buddy.
what people don't realize in tournament fishing if you can stay in the top 5 your alright it's when you drop down below that top 5 that realy bites you in the but been there dun that the very first tournament I ever fished I didn't place at all and the guy I was fishing with never invited me to fish another tournament with him ever again
The one thing I've noticed in most of your 20/20 videos is that you have gone against your gut. Is that normal for you in the past, or something you've just started? Great info, and we just need to trust ourselves.
I was rooting for u hoped u could pull out back to back on Cumberland I live in Corbin and that lake is awesome to fish but u cant win em all but great performance
I shared the video. I have 160,000+ Instagram followers. Hopefully they subscribe and follow. I linked your social media accounts as well. Been doing this for last yr. Everyone that followed or subscribed I followed back. There was at least 15,000 confirmed that subscribed to your channel alone. Love your videos. Keep on, keeping on brother. I'm 10 min from chickamauga in Chattanooga TN. Been fishing there for 25 years. Big lunker's loving the live targets and white flukes. Anything that mimics giant threadfin shad. Or big bluegill. I know lots honey holes.personal best at chickamauga 13lb6oz. Big girls stay close to home for life. Have hooked 1,000s of 8 plus. All marked GPS waypoints. Can always send u the waypoints if u wanna fish em for fun ;). *your dad's channel is picking up, have linked his channel as well* -# taco bass suck- # *taco bass, it's what's for dinner*

Amazing to hear a pro, give a detailed critique of his own performance. Thank you.

Scott I love that you take the time to acknowledge your younger fans.
hindsight is always 20/20 my friend, you still the man!!!
Installed a new Garmin on the rig yesterday. Blown away by it's clarity. Thank you for taking time to share your experiences with us and good luck on the rest of your stops brother!!
Scott! I fish Cumberland a lot usually throwing jigs. When the shad bite is on we throw a storm jointed thunderstick and it is awesome!
That simple letter was awesome...you are making a positive difference in peoples lives.
Love these follow ups Scott. Great kid letter at the end... short and to the point, lol. Thanks as always for posting.
Awesome Scott you took the time to acknowledge one of the up and coming fisherman.
What a great example you set Scott. Congrats on your success and thanks for sharing your insights.

Everyone makes mistakes, and the important part is you don't let it define you. Good luck with the rest of the tournaments

Hey Scott, thanks for sharing the 20/20. Really neat to see how a Pro looks at fishing decisions, the good and bad...
