@@ezeztztztz it's because AI cars are lighter and they have traction control. Even in dry, AI can drive some corners that you couldn't recreate in maxed out myteam car...
This is great information, thank you 😄. I would like to see some more tips on how to change your full car setup in the rain if you ever get time to do so, that's something I've had problems with when learning car setups and often found my race pace to be wrong due to my bad wet setup
Funny how in all other sim racing games like ACC, iRacing and Automobilista I excel in the rain, but when it comes to F1 22 it just not possible to find grip anywhere, sometimes I’m even in full throttle, if there is a slight change of direction, maybe to overtake, the rear just snaps like there was a sudden loss of traction, but I was like 100% in the gas for maybe 3/4 seconds which is a lot for a F1. This game is just rubbish when it comes to realistic traction
Yeh me too, struggle much more against the AI in wet. Adding more front and rear wing, reduce On Throttle Diff to 50, and ride height up 1-2 clicks has helped a little bit though. Had a decent wet race at Singapore the other day. Slowly getting better but not easy on this years game in the wet.
@@olliep8117 Thanks, just a shame that nearly every race has a dry and a wet period so that you cannot change the setup much because of Parc Ferme. And increasing the wing level is then just making the AI speed on the straights worse than it already is. But i will try the on throttle diff and ride height changes and just have to find a compromise with the wings.
thats much because a.i have more traction then players. In dry cond. you see/feel it just a bit in rain its more important and then it shows more clearly
Have you found a fix for this yet? Surely it’s a glitch in the game. I’ve been racing well in the dry yet when it rains I’m 2-3 seconds a lap slower than the AI
Maybe a small request, could you maybe make a video about the setup, which option does what and effects your car in which way? I mostly just copy other setups, maybe move the slider in one direction or the other and test out if that makes the handling better, but I never really know which setting does effect what aspect of the car, and it´s really hard to find a good tutorial on that to understand what does what...
You’re exactly like me man, i kinda know how one or two things affect the car but now how it affects other components and what other things do, but have never found a video that breaks it down in depth.
I'm sure he'll do one at some point, but if you check out Limitless's channel, he's already done a video on that. It's pretty in depth and about 25 mins long, going into all aspects of the car setup
@@Gosti85 Just type Limitless into the search, it's right near the top, green infinity sign on his channel. His setups video is like 2-3 weeks ago on his channel
Had my first wet race and was destroyed by the AI. They drive like it was dry where I had no speed whatsoever, being passed by two or three cars every straight. Thought it was a bug.
wet races are the most frustrating thing about f122, especially in my team. There’s no grip whatsoever and the AI find traction everywhere!

This is very needed since it rains every freaking race weekend.
Yeah my save aswell 7 races in a row
And its hard to find good setups
Hope hé will make wet setups for all the tracks
In my game It happend just in one race and for the quali, i'm in my second season and i havent raced in rain 😔
@@gaelp9314 i want that lol
I had one race good weather and now in Mexico im on wet tyers again
The last 7 races of my career save have had rain in either qualifying or the race, it’s obnoxious and incredibly annoying
It’s even more fun since the AI have a straight line speed like it’s dry

Yeah. I suck at the rain conditions only. No grip at all

will and when will you be doing wet setups ?. also love the vids they help a lot
I love the RAiN
Just me who miles off the pace from the AI in rain, but equal in the dry?

More Top tier content!
We need the wet setups everything I try it doesn't work
Can you do wet setups as well
👍👍👍
When rain setups
I thought I've heard in real life they stay off the racing line in the wet, should you do this in the game?
Alot of times they stay off the race line because it starts to dry and overheat the wet tires
@@AwkwardPencil Thanks ! That makes sense.
