    How do you like the length and depth of the video?! Keep them shorter or more detailed? Appreciate you guys! (Also, we're now shooting in 4k!)

      I think the long format works great for something as complex as a whole power rack, especially an interesting one like this one.

      I am hooked to your Channel and I want as many in depth videos as possible(even though inline in England and am just watching this as if I win the lottery) however I think if you are new to a video it could be a bit daunting... Maybe you should post 2 videos one in depth and one shorter summary video. I don't know how much more work that would be.

    I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

      Yeah, the quality products does not warrant paying two or three times more than the competition. And Sorinex's customer service is actually pretty terrible, no matter how you get in touch with them, sadly. You can be sure they'll blame everyone but themselves when they go under.

    Keep doing the "detailed longer" videos. We want good information.
    Odd you can't order a Sorinex cage online and have to pickup your phone. Though not a big deal. But in this day and age...
    Also, as a Canadian I'd love to see Sorinex setup a "direct from Canada" ordering setup so we don't need to worry about customs charges ON TOP of shipping charges. Like what ROGUE has. They got a Canadian website. Smart.

    Love narrower racks. With shoulder and elbow problems, and my size, my squat grip is normally against the sleeves. I even like using longer bars for shoulder pain. So when the J-hooks are literally right under my fingers when I take my grip, I notice it. Having that extra few inches makes a big difference on comfort.

    Been waiting for this review and I agree with the other posters - these long-form reviews are great. Excellent job.
    What was the reasoning you were uncomfortable sharing the price? I understand that its highly variable based on the almost limitless customization, and that there are probably price breaks for the bulk orders that the big D-1 programs are putting in, but what's the harm in sharing a base-line price for a single rack?
    You mentioned that their XL rack is more comparable to other retail-level racks that Rogue offers so maybe its more appropriate to share the price when you do that review just so we have a more apples to apples comparison.
    In any case - thanks again for these videos. Really helpful for aspiring home gym owners.

    Now do the TYTAX T3-X home gym. Can be had for the low low price of $8,000 right now on sale... normally $8600, haha.
    I will say though. At least TYTAX has the balls to put their insane prices up on their website. No shame in their game.

      I couldn't tell you. Never used any of their stuff. I just know if I were to ever buy an actual "Home Gym" theirs would be the ones I look at the most. From what I can tell by just looking at it in ads and on their website they look pretty legit. I mean the other option for a "free weight" home gym setup like that would be Powertec stuff. That's the only other company I can think of who makes multi-station stuff like that.

    • @flakey1228

      US. I'll probably just go with Rogue. US Made, unlike Sorinex they have the balls to post their prices on their site. Online shopping there is a breeze and comparable IMO to shopping on Amazon. And their delivery time is also comparable to Amazon. I just ordered like 500 lbs in free weights and it took I think maybe 2, at most 3 business days for them to ship it to me. Granted I am in the South burbs of Chicago and Rogue HQ is a state away in Columbus Ohio, but still. Also, I can pretty much buy everything I want in one order in the near future here from Rogue.... I'm actually TRYING to get to $5,000 even on an order just so I can get that free shipping on orders of $5k or more...... clever marketing Rogue... clever (I'm at like $4,882 right now in my shopping cart there. w/shipping it's $5,026. If I find something though that costs $120 though it would actually be CHEAPER because it would push me to $5,002... and no shipping. So it would be actually $24 cheaper if I add a $120 item..... again, Rogue are geniuses with their marketing and pricing, haha).
      So quality products, superior website, they ACTUALLY post their prices on their website, everything is transparent, AND their shipping is at light speed compared to other companies. So yeah.... I think I have fully decided to go with Rogue..... even though I didn't want to just because I guess I am a little hipster and didn't want to go with the brand EVERYONE goes with.... also Rogue is associated with Crossfit and I think Crossfit is a joke..... but oh well. As long as people are exercising right? Even though I really have a hard time calling crossfit exercising. It's just moving weight as fast as you can. I do that at work as a technician out in refineries, pipelines, power plants, etc...... I don't call it "crossfit" though.... I call it work, haha. But I guess the desk jockeys of the world have to do something, right - hence crossfit's existence.

    My Rogue Monster RM-4 Fortis has Welded Panels as well as numbered up rights. It was the cheaper option vs the Rm-4 2.0. However the trade off was the the height is 90". It sucks for me because I am 6'3" and overhead pressing inside the rack is not happening. Had to by Rogue Safety Spotter Arms 2.0 to press outside the rack. This style of video is perfect for people stuck as myself. As for the ordering goes. I window shop, research, budget then buy. It is just a pain for me. I am not a email type of guy. I would love the see the J-cups on a rogue monster. I think $150 extra for custom color is overpriced from rogue. Awesome review thanks.

Cost me like.... $120-150 I believe in materials... not too shabby).

    Once you cross the $2.5 - $3,000 USD line for a power rack, I just gotta have 7 gauge steel. (yes, 7 gauge is complete 'overkill' but without it, I cannot justify upgrading from my Rogue RML-490c.) I cannot get my head around Rogue Monster series costing more than Monster Lite. It must be the laser robot's labor rate, as the Monster series has more, larger holes, and you get less metal as a result vs. Monster Lite. So... the Rogue Monster series should actually be 'lighter' than the Monster Lite series - OH THE IRONY! Ghost Strong combines 7 gauge 3x3 uprights with 5/8" holes = Rogue Monster Lite series attachment 'could' be compatible.

    You see, that's exactly what i am looking for in a proper rack: pull up attachments. I quite like the offerings from both Rogue and Sorinex, but i like even better the rotating handles that are available from Eleiko - only sticking point with the Eleiko racks is that they only come in at about 92.64'' which isn't high enough for a pull up bar to be placed at 94'', which is where i should need it to perform full rom pull ups. Plus, with an attachment like the rotating handles it would take away even more inches of usable height. I need a rack that's high enough to allow for full rom pull ups, without me having to bend my legs or assume otherwise awkward positions.
    What about the HD Elite racks by Hammer Strength: are those any good? How do they compare to the likes of Rogue's and Sorinex's?
    Thanks ;-)

    Outstanding review. Longer form is great! Cool rack, but way out of my league. I'm more of a stalk craigslist until someone gets desperate and sells their Rogue equipment for half the purchase cost...definitely not buying the Ferrari of squat racks.

    Would the finish compare with the Rogue Satin Clear?

    • @GarageGymReviews
      @GarageGymReviews  4 роки тому

      A bit different. Rogue's Satin Clear doesn't have the marks from the grinder.

    In terms of performance and functionality, why is this rack better than a Rogue RM-6? Is it made of stainless steel? With a Ferrari I know I am paying for a mid-engine car with a lot of horsepower. Why should one pay 2-3 times the cost of the rack in this case? For example, the EliteFTS Signature Multi-Full Rack is made of stainless steel AFAIK. It costs north of $5,000.00 -- one can understand where the extra cost is coming from.

    • @Pler1978
      @Pler1978 5 років тому

      It's not functionally better at all. I agree the elite signature one can see why expensive but that looks higher end than this rack by a mile
