Hey Hun. Quick baking tip - turn the plate of your spring form pan over. It makes it easier to get the cake out of the pan. When you place as you did in this video you have to dig under the small dip and can break your crust. With it turned over you can just slide a spatula under and transfer it to a plate. You can use parchment paper as well. Lifts right out!

I'm allergic to Banana but my husband was raised in the South, so he's craving his Mom's Banana Pudding (with Nilla Wafers) so I can make this and have the actual Banana slices as an accent (my next door neighbor can add them for me)....Brilliant girl!!! This is a lovely recipe. Be sure to buy enough cookies. I bought the 7.25 oz of Chessman Cookies, which was only enough for the crust. Also, did not decorate the cheesecake with whip cream and bananas. I was worried about the bananas aging. The cheesecake was still a winner.
This looks delicious. I've used can whipped cream on my cheesecake before and have woken up the nxt day with it being a watery mess on top of the cheesecake. Maybe bc it's in an aerosol can. I would suggest using the cool whip that comes in a container. To be safe and it'll prob last longer and won't spoil as fast. Just a suggestion. Great recipe. Def. will try. 👍
Why break the cookie in 1/2 ? Why not use the whole cookie for the outside trim? Looks yummy tho. Is it for a day’s event bc won’t the bananas turn brown?

I’m sorry this happened. Sounds like you may have over mixed a little. Once you add the eggs, mix little as possible or just until combined to prevent air pockets. That’s usually what causes cracks in a cheesecake. Another reason may be due to over baking. 💜
