So she tends to not do that much On the other hand, her solo performance is very different. Her solo performance are detailed, impactful, great dynamics, fluid and strong at the same time
gonna comment as i watch lol - i also thought that from a songwriting perspective, the repeated words are like the echo of love after it's gone - also i'm glad the moves are simpler for such a vocally-focused song - i'm glad they went with a cheerful style, with the moves to match it, but can you IMAGINE something a little darker?? go harder with the rock influences, lessen up on the airy processing, and BOOM. a perfect mix of their black and pink sides. to be fair everyone was complaining abt how they did TOO much black but it'd be so cool if it was like a "we might be alone, but we're still searching" anthem. ahhhh i'd die if lsg was like a crooked (g-dragon) concept... - oh yeah that's true... stage presence also helps LMAOO you said that right after i commented - yeah i see ur point (abt it being cheerful) - (jennie princess thing) ooh i never noticed that until you pointed it out - also i just realized... didn't either yedam or junkyu film a cover here or something? i feel like this choreo matched really well with the song. the song is about finding yourself after a break up so of course it would have more of a cheerful vibe, plus the song itself (the instrumental, the vocals) sound more cheerful towards the end
Watching this from a dancer’s perspective the analysis of the choreo seems VERY positive with like no critique which is kinda weird lol I wish you brought up how there’s a lot of problems with this choreography, even though it has some great moments like drawing of the heat in the intro. Some of the issues were the incredibly large amount of filler moves, no level work, and that the execution of the effects were pretty bad and messy.
tbh i wasn’t very unbiased for this choreo analysis because i learned it and it’s surprisingly fun to dance to, so the fun i had most probably influenced my (lack of) criticism of the choreo 💔 sorry!! i usually learn the choreos i analyze (so i know more about the moves, how hard they are, etc) but then my experiences/feelings influence my videos, that’s a bad habit i’m still working on fixing! but i appreciate the criticism, mwah 💗 ps: also, i see blackpink as a group that has a choreo to add to the performance unlike a dance focused group (ex: i find ktl’s choreo a bit too simple and underwhelming, it’s not that good without the girls’ stage presence, etc) so my expectations being low probably stopped me from being more negative rip
