The latest update genuinely did reveal a lot to us lol, and well it seems like that Zeus’s storyline has come to an end. But not the season 2 storyline tho…

I think that when Medusa said “let freedom reign in his place”, this is connected to the post apocalypse next season. I think the island will become lawless, and factions of survivors will fight each other for dominance

@@Jango_Fett22 Apollo / chapter 2 and Helios / chapter 5 both were mixed up in mythology and both are sun gods so ya.
In another subject abou the Galatus return theory... Remember this line from Stellan: "Each night i dream of stars, swallowed in darkness. And he Shapeless Man, waiting." And Stellan have a pair of lines were he mentions stars.

Bro that last minute was STRAIGHT FACTS. But I will say, I don’t think the comparison of Zeus to Zado is quite fair.
In Last Resort, all we got was “Thank you!! We defeated Kado Thorne!” In quest text after doing completely unrelated tasks.
However in Myths And Mortals, we are explained how Zeus is powerful in voice dialogue, we physically see and affect those things, therefore ~weakening~ him (not killing him off like Kado), and finally it’s all once again summarized and wrapped up in voice dialogue with a mini event to add onto it!
Yeah it’s still lame compared to stuff like Galactus, but I feel like smearing these Zeus and Kado together is just unappreciative. You’ve gotta keep in mind how little the story team has to work with, and frankly I think they did a good job finishing off this season.
Note: Zeus can also return! All that’s said is that he’s weakened, so he pretty much runs away.
The issue is the story team had much to work with. When you allocate resources and push people who have one job to another it becomes a mess. Donald Mustard was our storyline head writer and according to him Fortnite prioritized the new modes (which don’t even get more than a red VS blue map half the time) so yeah, it’s not being ungrateful it’s epic trying to invest in an audience that doesn’t exist
@@Joopdr I think you misunderstood me, that’s exactly what I’m saying. I agree it’s stupid what Epic’s doing, but what I said was the story team doesn’t have much to work with in comparison to chapters 1-3.

I think in a way Fortnite’s story is like Marvel’s. once the finale it fell off (Collision and Endgame). In my eyes the Fortnite storyline after Collision was the most well rounded and complete it’d ever been
They really dropped the ball afterwards. Season 3 didn’t really have a story as the name Vibes entails, everyone was just happy that the war was over. But then with the chrome season it was never really explained. Like here’s a random last reality member that makes the map go boom. But tbf it feels like now they make a new story with the High Society and the gods, free of IO and the Seven, but who knows? Maybe they’ll come back.

@SIOFN4 There is a possibility that the wanderer could be someone who we have in countered before, a wanderer is someone who goes from place to place without reason. It is possible that it could be Geno, if he is still out there, then he would have no island to go to. So he would be wandering from reality to reality because he would have no real reason to still follow his original plan. And if he got to the Chapter 5 map and realized that it isn’t perfect, he for fight for control of the island. I know that I could be wrong, but there is a slight chance that I’m correct.
This similar is more similar to MEGA due to the collaborations as well as the recruitment of the Gods similar to aiding the Clans in MEGA. Also, Last Resort was bad, Myths and Mortals is/was good.
“When all is lost, Hope remains” so this will most likely tie into season 3

I’m betting this wanderer guy might be bytes because he has a edit style named the wanderer so he might be coming back to kill the titan because in the titan skin on his chest has what looks like the zero point so maybe the zero point will be ripped out bringing a desert biome turning the island into a apocalypse or it might just be a teaser for a fallout collab because out main character in fallout 4 is nicknamed the wanderer so it could be either way both of this could happen
ok but what if the mini event will be zeus trying to finish the mortals off idk but with thunder going to the box might be zeus and he opens the box or something and something gets let out (maby hope) and it might also awaken the titan hand and thats wean we will get the skin in shop and the titan might rise from under the island i dont think this titan is atlas (the one that holds earth) in mount olympus thare is a statue of Meowscles holding earth so maby he is atlas and it leaves a crater in the center of the map and with the energy of the box opening the wander will find the island idk i just wanted to rant of what i think lol

The Wanderer could be The Visitor but turned evil. The Visitor is a navigator, similar to a wanderer.

Kratos is the true warrior that can kill Zeus.

What if at one point all the villain killed by quest actually came back all together and we had a big live event against them all at the end of the chapter

Hope is 100% going to be the “hope” Oracle is referring to and the hero of the island. It was clear that she was going to be a main character of this chapter and I’m perfectly fine with that… but they executed it horribly. Like you said, she had no relevance this season whatsoever, but it supposed to be the island’s hero? Thats just bad writing.
I have a feeling that Hope is also going to play a large role in S3 and S4, though unless Epic actually writes her well and actually makes her relevant to the entire season and not just the end, I have a feeling that the entire Fortnite community is just going to write her off as a Mary Sue. This will also heavily undermine any major thing she does during the climax of the chapter, similar to Paradigm’s “sacrifice” in C3. Paradigm did absolutely nothing during the season and it made her sacrifice totally impact-less.

If I'm being honest, I don't think we beat Zeus here. Realistically we weaken him, yes, but who's to say he can't get another source of energy from somewhere else... might I say... the storm? He pulls a Midas but this time takes energy from the storm, and after his wrath, the storm collapsing and hence skies blackening, all that's left is chaos.
I have a theory what if The Wanderer is Geno after he rebuilt himself and now “wanders” through space,time and the Omniverse and eventually came here to the island

@@hondaaccord1399 potentially, but the underground hasn’t gained any power since the society disbanded, and even then, it’s not much. Defeating Zeus just secures the power the underground had between seasons.
