I am a muso and singing teacher, and lately we've been working with students on creating LYRIC VIDEOS for their songs, your tutorials were very helpful to make the process more fun :) Some want to go a little farther and make VIRTUAL SINGERS (again, using AI from image generation to video) - unfortunately, I am very time poor, and the only process I have figured out is to use isolated vocal tracks with the process you described above. Please keep us posted with more ideas and processes for music videos that do not suck and actually look professional :)

Probably, but I haven’t researched that yet! There’s not one built-in into CapCut, but you can make a clone of yourself in CapCut! That’s in one of my prior videos.

Yes! In the pro version you can change to and from a few languages, including Spanish, Chinese, English, Japanes, Indonesian and Portugese so far. I'm sure more languages coming soon!

Hi Trevor, I have just finished your great course and your weekly email is a no-rely. So, have to leave a comment and hope you reply. My version of Capcut has just been updated and now it looks like I have no choice but to go Pro (which I almost certainly would have anyway), but now I am thinking of dumping Capcut altogether. What's with all these Credits - 4 credits per second for this, 1 credit per quarter second for something else. I can't find a definitive list of features for which I will incur credits. I now have no idea how much Capcut is really going to cost me to use and Im thinking I may as well use Camtasia instead. I bought Camtasia for screen recordings but liked the look of Capcut as a general video editor and "finisher" so decided to go with that as well. Not so sure now. Any advice? I am not in a position to use something without knowing its cost.

But I think it’s mostly the AI stuff. I believe the pro Versión has 99% of the things that you need, and the credits are for things like AI characters. I have camtasia for screen recording and it’s great for that, but don’t like it for editing. I mean it’s good for editing screen recordings, but I don’t like it for editing anything else. In fairness to camtasia, I have not spent a lot of time trying to learn to edit on it. CapCut is constantly being updated and it looks like they’re finding new ways to monetize with the extra features. But I don’t think the basic and even most of the advanced functionality will cost credits.

I was putting together a cartoon yesterday and pro version of capcut kept freezing. On my none cartoon videos I've never had that issue. Do you know if this is common? The cartoon ended up being 2.4 gigs, does Capcut have an issue with that larger of a size?
Dang I have not had that issue. You might try setting preferences to optimize if your RAM or comp power is light. Also make sure you have at least 10% of your hard drive space free.
