    I think the angle of the blade adds versatility to it over the tracker and makes it better at everything the tracker can do.

    I was considering this knife for a while and your demonstration answered a few examples I was curious about: the saw and fire stick ease. So I ordered one and will test it out this weekend. I’ll update if I have any considerable differences in opinion

    The factory sheath is good for strapping to a pack, like you said, but it's too long and cumbersome to wear unless you're well over 6 feet. I bought a kydex sheath with a techlok for cross-draw wear.

    Man you know I am really on the fence with any tracker knife. I own two. But with all my testing of knives, a traditional knife knife can do the same thing a tracker style knife can. I think tracker knives are cool but I don’t think there is any advantage to them. For example I can do everything I need with a WTG 7” Puzon Bowie. So the question I want to ask people is what is so special about the tracker knife in general…. I am still learning and researching tracker knives to find this answer.

    • @gustifer0311
      @gustifer0311  Рік тому +2

      You were right. I think a big lure to the tracker knife is obviously the movie the Hunted. They can curl quite phenomenally. I kind of use them as another Bowie knife. The top portion is designed to be more of a hatchet with your lower portion designed more for fine work on this particular knife the saw does work.
      It’s definitely a tool that requires consistent use to master . Personally, I just like the look of it and it feels school. Lol! They were least In performance in my recent class, just die to awkwardness and unwieldy feeling.
      Obviously a knife like a Mora or a small Scandi grind can literally do anything you needed to do . A knife will always do knife stuff., and an ax will always be best axe stuff, and I saw will always be best at saw stuff.
      But tracker knives are cool and out hair on ky chest. And they are super fun to throw!

    • @LegionTacticoolCutlery
      @LegionTacticoolCutlery Рік тому +1

    Mr. Wolf Sir- do you think that the curls that the SXB cuts are too big to ignite?….
    I already know the Tom Brown does great but it’s not a good self defense tool compared to the SXB evidently…. thanks and it’s a shame that the Raider Bowie is discontinued

    • @gustifer0311
      @gustifer0311  5 місяців тому +1

      I think that the curls will come as a skill set. The knife helps but ultimately your tender bundle is going to be your primary ignition source.

    So that is some real crocodile dundee knife stuff right there lol! I saw a video that said that was the most used knife on naked and afraid as well. For me even though it is a cool looking knife it is not the kind of knife I would ever use but it is super cool looking for sure!

      @@gustifer0311 ya me too! I prefer about 4-1/2 to 5 inch blade myself but nothing over 6 inches really. in my experiences this is all I have ever needed out in the woods or wilderness. but it all boils down to personal preference and what works for you. Just got 5 new Joker knives in along with the bps knives so got lots of blades to unbox and review on my channel for the next few months lol!

      @@gustifer0311 I will say this I just did the unboxing video which will be going up soon and all I can say is I am really impressed with Joker knives so far. they are made really well and the sheaths that come with them are super nice as well. very much worth the money for sure in my opinion. I got the campero, the trampero, the OSO CO54 and 2 of the pointer folder knives and they are are all super nice. I will be doing individual reviews of each after the unboxing video as well.

    The SXB isnt available on Amazon right now. Is the SXS comparable to the SXB? The SXS looks like its a little closer to what I can really afford. I have been looking for a larger knife to do the heavier work around camp and something like this would check a lot of boxes as its not just a large knife. Thanks for the video. God bless brother.
