Would you believe William that it actually says it's an M884 on a plaque on the dashboard! I bought it that day and got it home a month later (after a bike ride in Spain)
Those tires were GONE! dryrotted badly. Also she def. need some tuning. Alot of these were left behind or sold as surplus from the US Military or NATO allies. The ones in the USA many wound up as forest service fire trucks.
Yes the tyres were well worn when I bought it and almost impossible to replace over here in Ireland due to being an odd size for this part of the world. I was quoted around $2,500 incl tax and shipping to get them so needless to say I didn’t bother! It’s since sold to a neighbour of mine who has it stored until he gets time to restore it.
+enterBJ40 You're right its not an M880. I got that wrong as it's actually an M884, it was the communication vehicle and came with a 24volt battery set up so it had the power to run the radios and the antennas!
+Omar Murtagh Sorry for the long delay in responding to you, I sold it about 5 months ago to a neighbour who then sold it a month or two later to a man from Norway so thats where it is now!
¡¡¡¡ FELICITACIONES POR LA CAMIONETA!!!!!
Thats a cool truck!

+KTM And Thangs Sorry for the long delay in replying to you! It's basically a straight through exhaust, meaning that there is no silencer box!

Yes a V8 5.2 litre petrol/gasoline engine
