Andrews on fire now @DetectingOz he did awesome and a well deserved win I'd say! Hopefully he can keep the luck going for next time🙂 Cheers heaps Gary👍👍
Don’t blame you at all for bailing out of that spot, the amount of times I’ve bailed stupid people out is ridiculous, and if anything gets damaged you can guarantee it’ll be your you’re own car or equipment. You can’t help or fix stupid, so now I just don’t bother.
100% couldn't agree more with your comment @ryanadams3858 I spent years 4x4ing and have come across lots of these situations before. Over the years, I've learnt the ones to help and others to sadly walk away from. Hard as that is, it's just the way some people have to learn from mistakes made. Otherwise you can put yourself into a world of hurt mentally and financially when it all goes wrong. Cheers heaps for watching mate, take care until the next👍⛏️
How good was it @Working925detecting Andrew did so well hunting with the 5000 this day. He seems to know his machine very well👌 Hopefully plenty more to follow for him!🤝⛏️
Smashed me he did @thegoldrushguy and it was very well deserved to! I just hope more to follow for Andrew in future...and even bigger again👌 Cheers mate🤝
Yah hoo!!! Way to go Andrew!!!.… Sorry Luke, I'm just a bit biased. Hey Luke, what will you do if you get back to that other spot and find that those people never got out. Just two skeletons stuck in a car that's balancing on large rock. I can hear you now " I reckon we should go find another spot, what do think Andrew".. "Ah! ? it, let's get the ? out of here"!!! Now! Using the alphabet as a guide, decide which letter you think is suitable to replace the question mark. Thanks for the fun Luke, Cheers Mate!
Andrews on fire with the 5000 now @waynearmstrong5233 and so well deserved too! Haha crazy as it seems, the car was actually gone when we checked before leaving. Maybe there was an escape track I didn't know about. Pretty unreal situation though and not one I was wanting to be a mix of😆😬 Cheers heaps until next time mate👍🤝⛏️
Well spotted @craigparry5648 I was at the start running the 9" Goldhawk by Coiltek Coils. Then after lunch changed over to the standard Minelab 11" Coil. Main reason was to try and rework over a noisy patch of ground to see if there was any changes. Nothing obvious to report though. However when hunting for gold, especially the small pieces missed by others. I hands down prefer the 9" Coiltek Goldhawk Coil. It just seems to sniff every piece out, even the ones the 11" will miss. Gpx6000 with 9" Goldhawk i feel is a perfect combination. I highly recommend👌👌 Best of luck out there until next time mate👍⛏️
You left someone in trouble because you couldn't be bothered? I would have been offering my help to get them out. We all make mistakes and good deeds will come back around.
Good to see you both are enjoying your day out on the bits. In regards others that might of made a mistake the😮 oz way is to ensure all are safe or ask before leaving do you think you would be ok to get back out up the hill, My question is what if a fire had taken place and them being old and couldn't drive or walk out how would feel if bad news had come about.😮
A great day out thanks heaps @detrackozi6292 we also made sure to double check that the car and people were gone before leaving that day, and they were out👍
@DigItDetecting understandable I saw after writing you're very minelabs focused. I had a goldmonster I grabbed my kruzer cause it's submersible and high hz.. Sadly nokta is NOT a USA based company unlike minelabs
I would leave them there as well .if they can see its 4x4 only then why go there we helped some people out of a place they should not have been in it was a 4x4 track with sand we got them out only to have car trouble and they left use there after we helped them tuffed our gear box on the nissan patrol well done Luck
Im all about helping people out in need @bundy1579 however this was one of those situations I've been in before and paid for. And as you mentioned, if it states 4x4 only or you get to the top of the hill and you can clearly see that a 2wd shouldn't drive down it...then I feel that's just asking for problems. It was a strange experience all round, the lady jumped out, walked straight past me and then started talking about wombat holes and rescuing wildlife in her spare time. Not to mention...who drives up to someone randomly in the bush and starts prospecting right next to them😂 I'm not sure what was going on really😆 Thanks heaps again mate, take good care and happy hunting until our next adventure👍⛏️
Good on ya Andrew.Good to see you on top . Great hunt.Well done boys.

Easy to comment that @tomshaw658 but different being there. Double checked and car was gone when leaving.
If you knew Luke you'd know he'd always help out a fellow human (who deserves it)
My biggest weakness at times is kindness @idigthat73 however this was not a situation I was getting involved in and for good reasons. Cheers mate👍

Have any experience w the Nokta Gold kruzer??
Sorry @ZomPaul2113 it's not a machine I have ever used before.
