They really are not that bad at all ! Each RA’s section has their own bathroom so it’s rarely crowded. I’ve never had to wait in line for anything before. Also, ya there’s only two per floor, but Kinsolving is divided into different wings so it’s not that every single person who lives on the second floor has to cram into two bathrooms ! There’s the second floor in the North Wing, South Wing, etc and each Wing has multiple (not including the regular restrooms without showers on the first floor and the gender neutral ones one the 2.5)
All the connecting baths are on the North tower so unfortunately they don't have a view of the tower :/ I would try to get a room that's are on the 2nd floor or up and try to get one that doesn't face a wall. For example, if you room on the third floor try to get rooms 352-364 or rooms 370-378 for connecting bath
I used twin sheets and they fit just fine until I added the extra padding on it ! If you get the comforter topper (which I recommend you do) then you’ll prob need twin xL :)
The green wall over the desks and the brown square section over the beds are tack boards! The rest we just used sticky tack and command strips (thankfully the paint doesn't peel off too easily)

Omg thanks for doing this bc I’m looking to dorm here
Ya of course, lmk if you have any questions :)
How did you find the community bathrooms? I’m worried about the bathrooms being busy or unclean due to there only being 2 per floor and so many rooms.

@@Belu.d thank you!!
@@Belu.d what did you use on the tack boards for your picture frame and other stuff to hang? ( besides push pins )
@@karen1810 Honestly we pretty much just used push pins and sticky tack on everything ! I think the picture frames had Velcro command strips
@@Belu.d thank you again!!!
Hi! I heard that Kinsolving dining had the best food out of all the dorms, would you say that that’s true?
Also, which of the UT dorms would you recommend? Do you think Kinsolving was the right choice?
Honestly it depends! I think that all the dining halls are about the same, but in my opinion Kins has the best dinner and JCL has the best lunch.
