Lol I remember I was sharing a dorm with my 2 friends and one of them brought marshmallows. We didn't really have anywhere to put them so we put them on the windowsill. When they came in for the room inspection, the curtains on the window just happened to be closed. The teachers opened the curtains to look and they saw the marshmallows and then they kept going on about how funny it was that we were hiding it from them. We weren't. We knew we were allowed to bring snacks and just put them there and the curtains were coincidentally shut when they were doing the room expection. Later, they talked about their experiences with the room inspections in a lighthearted and funny way. They mentioned things like going into rooms and witnessesing some of the boys being crazy or going in and finding mess on the floor etc but then they mentioned how they saw marshmallows being hidden away and they wouldn't stop going on about the hidden marshmallows even after the trip was over. We weren't hiding them!

On my residential trip, we stayed in a really old manor, and we thought that it was haunted. There were several thumps on the ceiling at like 11 at night, and for some reason we were all frightened, (all being me and the three other girls in my room, and the room of 6 next door). We told the teacher about it and she sat all 10 of us down in 1 room to tell us it was just the kids upstairs, but we weren’t buying that. Apparently the room next door saw a boy running around the street, then he disappeared. One of the smallest girls was physically shaking, and we begged to all be able to sleep in one room. We asked our leading teacher, and they said no and told us to go back to bed. But, the teacher who comforted us did allow me and the other girls in my room to sleep on the floor together with our duvets. We hung one across the top bunks do it was like a canopy and tried to ignore the noises. But at around midnight, there was a really loud thump, bigger than the ones before. That was the point we burst into tears and then cried ourselves to sleep. The next morning, we branded it ‘The big bang’, which made it more of a joke than something to be scared of then. The next day we slept in the floor again, but the bangs went on. We did have a teacher opposite us (not one of the ones mentioned before), but we grabbed a flashlight we bought from the gift shop and used it as a microphone for my friend, who made her own kidzbop versions of popular songs. The teacher mentioned obviously heard us, but she didn’t say anything. She was such a sweet woman, she would always check in on us, and didn’t care if we weren’t asleep past Curfew as long as we weren’t doing anything dangerous. Another little thing is the boys from our class on the other side of the manor would kidnap people and bring them to their room to clean, and thy would be payed in tango bottles. There was also a ding-dong-ditcher that appeared when we came back in after our final activates. We were running down the corridors, laughing and screaming, trying to find this person. We got told off and sent back to our rooms, but it remains one of the happiest memories of my life.

Oh my god this brings back so many memories XD Thanks for reviving my trauma of the time a residential worker pushed me off the bungee jumping thing (not like an actual shove), I got geared up and everything but when I got to the actual part where I had to jump I was just pleading to skip and the guy just kinda nudged/shuffled me off the edge (note: I was not a bad kid or was acting out, I have Autism and thus stuff is scarier for me). IE: We had to do two caving trips, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, I braved the morning one and legit was scared about the small space and getting stuck (I was a big kid, there was a legit fear there). So I asked if I could sit out the caving for the afternoon (teachers were not happy about it), but one teacher just decided they would stay with me and wait for everyone to finish the caving. I didn't hate the residential trips, I loved em a lot and tried out everything I could. I didn't complain or whine, and again I was a good kid and one or two teachers understood me, a lot were just very pushy which I don't think helped XD.
NAW the disco was so crazyyyyy 😂 me n my friends tickled one of my other friend’s toes. there was a pervert on the trip. the dramaaaa 😍😹 not to mention, at 3am we fell from the ladders. then we got yelled at. um big mistake. 💀
Me and my friends were all in the same dorm, but some random kid in our class was also in and we were playing try not to laugh it was 2AM and it was the random kids turn and he decided to stand up, jump and stomp his feet on the floor as hardas he can. He went back in bed and pretended to be asleep, when the teacher came in she said "Look at him fast asleep" and had a go at us
I went on one last year. This is accurate 😭 My friend kept coming outside the room to check if there were teachers patrolling the hallway. I brought food with me even tho we were told not to bring any food since we would be fed “amazing” food. My friends helped themselves whilst I was asleep-
Not literally this is so relatable and me and my bffs saved up all our food all week and hid it in lunchboxes all week till the last night and I think we ate about 1 thing each 😂😂oh and also I can’t forget one of the boys nearly got sent home!!
help my year 6 residential was cazy, espically on the first night. At 5am the other cabins were running around screaming. i had to get the teacher to sort them out-
The unfortunate thing for me was that the people that I was sharing my room with decided to have torches on at night and were talking to each other. I was the one who was trying to shush them. I then would end up laying awake trying to sleep for about an hour before finally falling asleep. I did enjoy the residential though!
My year 6 residential was crazy, i got put in a room with my best friends, we didnt sleep at all on the entire trip. There was two girls across the hall from us, and they snuck into our room at 2:00am, there was alot of drama as one of my best friends was a dating a guy who was apparently talking rubbish about her. So we stayed up all night talking about him with the two other girls. But when the two other girls were in our room, our house teacher was heard coming up the stairs. Our room was first out if the 2 so i told them to go into the shower and then turned off the bathroom light. We didnt get caught it was halerious 😂
At my school residential lights out were at 10:30-11pm and at 3am me and my friends were still awake obviously🤭 we heard one of the doors near us open and the motion sensor lights turned on and we heard another door open and one of the teachers came banging on everyone’s door at 3 in the morning demanding to know who opened the door. They woke the whole building up because someone probs went to check the time (the only clock was at the end of the hallway)
We went on 1 week residential to Italy to ski in year 6 and we went the spar to get sweets and the strict teacher said we had to hand them in but the nice teacher said we could have them in their room and they started arguing 😂😂. Also I brought yo-yo bears and fruit snacks with me and ate them secretly because I was so hungry after 4 hours of skiing.
My residential was damn chaotic. Firstly, most of the boys were going around and ding-dong ditching the girls and then I think cause a fire hydrant to fall onto the ground. Then on the first night, a boy (yes again, they're probably the band of the trip,) decided to come up with a myth of a man just waiting outside then cabins, which made one of the girls get terrified. On the last day, nearly everyone in my room played bloody Mary, and omg that made me so paranoid back then, even though they did it in daylight hours.
OMG the “representing the school” is so common

the fact that the teachers would come in and say "gO tO sLEep, iTs liGhTs OuT" WHEN WE ARE TRYNA SLEEP 😭😭
NAW the disco was so crazyyyyy 😂 me n my friends tickled one of my other friend’s toes. there was a pervert on the trip. the dramaaaa 😍😹
not to mention, at 3am we fell from the ladders. then we got yelled at. um big mistake. 💀
Me and my friends were all in the same dorm, but some random kid in our class was also in and we were playing try not to laugh it was 2AM and it was the random kids turn and he decided to stand up, jump and stomp his feet on the floor as hardas he can. He went back in bed and pretended to be asleep, when the teacher came in she said "Look at him fast asleep" and had a go at us
the way you try to sleep and they scream in your face !!! 😅😂😢
Are you stalking me? 🤣
The accent, the disco on Thursday, the cabins, the tuck shop, the specific activities... Are you sure we didn't go to the same residential trip? 🤣
The ‘gguurrrllllsssssss’ and the ‘booyyysss’ in that accsept is so real 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The “Lights out” part is so true
I went on one last year. This is accurate 😭
My friend kept coming outside the room to check if there were teachers patrolling the hallway. I brought food with me even tho we were told not to bring any food since we would be fed “amazing” food. My friends helped themselves whilst I was asleep-
My skin physically crawled throughout this video, and I actually cried because I’m scared of getting told off-
You missed that one teacher that sits on a chair in your dorm waiting for you to go to sleep
Not literally this is so relatable and me and my bffs saved up all our food all week and hid it in lunchboxes all week till the last night and I think we ate about 1 thing each 😂😂oh and also I can’t forget one of the boys nearly got sent home!!
i going too yr5 and on all school trips in ur4 me my freind sat and ate snacks her dad got her lucky
1:14 I LOVED THE GIANT SWING
This women just described my residential trip 😂
dang, ur a real one for not stretching it to 8 mins for the ads
the teachers talk to us like we dont speak english
In my room inspection we bribed the teachers with chocolate😂
help my year 6 residential was cazy, espically on the first night. At 5am the other cabins were running around screaming. i had to get the teacher to sort them out-
0:35 WAIT OMG THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE PART OF MY CABIN FROM WHEN I WENT TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT ON PGL IN YEAR 6 WHAAAAAAAAT 😭😭😭
Omg I swear it is
@poppyclarkson1601 Taylor swift pfp 💀💀💀💀
THIS IS SO ACCURATE WHATTT😭😭😭
This is literally all my Primary school residentials 😂😂😂
I'm so excited for my residential next month! ❤
I did my residential a couple years ago! I’m so happy to see more people go on and do this! Good luck and wish you the best of luck!
I swear the giant swing gave you the worst pain but it was So fun
We went on 1 week residential to Italy to ski in year 6 and we went the spar to get sweets and the strict teacher said we had to hand them in but the nice teacher said we could have them in their room and they started arguing 😂😂. Also I brought yo-yo bears and fruit snacks with me and ate them secretly because I was so hungry after 4 hours of skiing.
LOL
@@muslimoosman1733 ye 😭😭
My residential was damn chaotic. Firstly, most of the boys were going around and ding-dong ditching the girls and then I think cause a fire hydrant to fall onto the ground. Then on the first night, a boy (yes again, they're probably the band of the trip,) decided to come up with a myth of a man just waiting outside then cabins, which made one of the girls get terrified. On the last day, nearly everyone in my room played bloody Mary, and omg that made me so paranoid back then, even though they did it in daylight hours.
