      @@Horus-LupercalCheers lad, it's grand like, had my first meet few weeks ago, 150, 100 and 200. I'm looking to add at least 20kg to each lift by nationals in May. No problem for deads and squat but I might struggle with bench. When i get a 3 plate bench I'll be happy 💪

      @@finsk254 You’re reading too deep into it. It’s a common filler phrase. You can find many examples of such in our nomenclature.
      “Not going to lie.” “You know what I’m saying?” “No offense, but…”
      Some phrases simply have a nice flow that makes them easy to say and remember.
      Also, keep in mind, language is fluid, constantly evolving, the only thing certain of language is that it’s going to change.

    Even if the kid is juicing, he has a ridiculous bench at 17. Can't really discount his training and dedication either. You don't break a 200 kg bench without some serious training and genetics.

      these people are born with tight muscle fibers which allow them to lift heavy asf. The same with sprinters, the muscle fibres in their legs are really tight and compact making them naturally fast.

    That's absolutely insane. I'm 15, weigh 192 lbs, and my one rep max is 200 lbs on the bench. I hope to get this weight up someday, but almost certainly at more than 17. Wow!

    As a 17 year old at sub 160 even a 240 bench would be very good. 340 would be insane. 440 just seems unbelievable

      He’s 5’8” I asked him personally... average height for his age his build is ideal for powerlifting.

    I believe the arch is not that bad. But professional judges might red flag that.
