A Brief History of Israel (Abraham, Jesus, Modern Day)

A Q & A session with Gateway Center for Israel's Executive Director Nic Lesmeister and Teaching Pastor David Blease was recently conducted at The King's University by Gateway Ministry Experience Pastor Phillip Hunter. Students were given the opportunity to text their questions in for consideration during this live gathering, and each answer has been captured in this series of short videos.
If you don't understand Israel, you can't understand the Bible. So to add context, Nic and David start off by giving a brief, introductory history of the Jewish people, spanning from Abraham to modern day Israel - 3500 years in about five minutes! This includes a summary of the biblical land covenant God gave Israel, how it applies today, and correcting some misinformation that abounds about Israel's right to this land.
(Fun fact: did you know 70% of the time "covenant" is used in the Old Testament, it is directly or indirectly connected to the land promised by God to Israel?)
