It was the only one they had at the time and it wasn't quite ready for the lot, but I wanted to do it anyways.
I can’t decide whether the350 GL diesel or the 550. Thoughts???

@hereistand2008, we just got a 2012 GL550, and we love it over the newer one, this one is more bold and rugged looking, the 2013 looks like a generic luxury back end, front end looks amazing.
And its also has the beautiful naturally aspirated 5.5 litre v8, I put a exhaust on my GL550 and the sound is nice.
The 2013-2016 look way better than the older model...

I’m trading in my GLK 350 for. GL550. I looked at the 12’s a few months ago. But now I’m leaning towards the 2013-16 body style. I see how dated it looks compared to the 2013-16 trucks. I have a budget of $40,000 for this vehicle.
Good reviews but the music is really irritating and annoying. Get something more pleasant.
Its nice car but you need to change air suspensions every 50k
..it all good the highlights...but the nice SUV was way too dirty for a featured vehicle for review.
i had the 2009 GL550, 2012 GL550, 2014 GL63 and now I'm later purchasing 2017 GLS550
Why did you go from the GL63 back to the 550GL? Price? Not much difference? Just curious....

@@vasacsl63 Wife's niece has offered her 2012 model to us for $9,000. Wife has '09 Audi Q7 now so will probably take the Benz. I like the big V8 and performance. Trying to find what the top speed limiter is set at. Probly 135mph like the Audi. Checking on programmer to delete that. Good luck on yours. Oops. Dozed off there for a bit. Soothing vid. L8r.

@@vasacsl63 Good deal. Hope our deal works out. Gonna check it out Tuesday. Original specs and reviews are good on the 2012 GL550. Not fuel efficient but can't have it both ways. Wife will get decent mileage. If I drive it, not so much. We have some fast sports cars and one "exotic" and she has had a couple twin turbo either BMW or Audi awd sedans but the 550 weighs two tons so nearly 400hp will feel pretty good but ain't meant to be road warrior.
