My son went almost to the Ga./FLA state line to get our 2 row Colombo Combine, You have to learn the principles of the rotating auger fingers and their position inside the Rotary Grid(concave) as to Threshing involved with the movement of the vines thru the Cylinder, Then adjust air flow to remove trash but leave Peanuts......
Here in Brazil, the Colombo Miac dominates the peanut harvester market, Amadas agent has never seen it here in Brazil, but the Colombo machines are very good machines, we even harvest green peanuts from 2 days of harvesting. Miacs are violent in this regard.
The best one is one you can afford. If you can find one (from any brand) that isn’t worn out and you can afford it without a loan that would be the best one. On a small farm it’s hard to justify a new peanut combine from any manufacturer. Don’t matter if you buy KMC, Amadas, or Colombo you will have to learn the common problems with your model and learn how to operate it the most efficiently.

Colombo makes a great machine. They are forcing the other manufacturers to improve their machines.
I have 3 colombo machines, this fk.ing sh.t is made of plasticine
First time seeing this brand picker
They have been around for a long time but are just now gaining popularity.
It's hard to out perform the good old blue ones the farmer I help has 3 Amadeus 4 row Combines Hatfield farming Zuni va looking like some combination
We use 3 Amadas 6 rows and 1 Colombo 6 row. The red picker picks as much as 2 blue pickers and doesn’t require setting/adjusting.
That's good to know when it's time for some new equipment sounds like a good investment less equipment to run less fuel costs
Patrick what the best peanut combine for a beginner operator and small farmers
